“I'm not happy with the service at all. I just want to warn everyone who thinks they want to use Royal Mail, take a different company instead of Royal Mail better for you.
The postman brought me an empty envelope and my item disappeared, the envelope was just an invoice from my item the seller sent. The postman scanned an empty envelope and gave it to my director without my item. This was not the first time RoyalMail had to do with my post several times happened similarly and for every time I have evidence or witnesses. Do not use Royal Mail .....”
“Trying to track my parcel
Your website says "The sender has let us know this item will be with us soon" - as if!
You have the item and are probably buying time to extend the delivery period.
Have been 35 minutes waiting on your customer "helpline" - and counting, with an annoying woman with a patronising voice suggesting I get your free App! You have the audacity to have a "Like Us" link on your homepage. One star is far too much for you useless bums!”
“Received an email on Saturday 25th May (around 8.30am) to say delivery of my parcel was expected today between 10.33 and 14.33pm. Waited in all day and now turns out it hasn't even left the South West depot. Could have gone to Portsmouth myself ten times over in the time it has taken Royal Mail to do absolutely nothing. Why bother sending out emails if you're not going to actually make a delivery?”
“£11 customs charge for an item arriving from overseas costing £5.00...but the funny part is customs taking £3 and Royal Mail charge £8 of it for handling?!!! Its a joke a Royal joke on us!”
“Post never turns up on time and the customer service is non existent you can’t contact them or talk to anyone the automated chat doesn’t work and the “help” pages aren’t helpful at all”
“Massive problems with royal mail last 5 months.
Ordered something special delivery guaranteed next day - delivered a day late
Ordered something 1st class signed for - delivered a WEEK later
Order something royal mail 48 - item deliver 3 days not 2
Ordered something 2nd class signed for - 5 days later no parcel in sight.
Do yourself a favour and avoid royal mail.”
“Text recived to say a tracked paggage will arrive today. Nope its still in Nottingham according to the data. Rearranged a whole day for nothing. Hope it will arrive tomorrow. Its a tracked 48 hour package. Its past 48 hours. But dont text if its not going to arrive when they say it will. Just pure annoying.”
“I was awaiting a much needed parcel which just so happened to be delivered during that half hour that I nipped out of the house. There was no possibility of me colkecting the parcel the following day as I was catching a flight 1st thing in the morning so was pretty miffed that I'd missed this delivery. Whilst driving away from our road, I bumped into our postman Tom (for Lord Street, Stalybridge) and explained the situation and my dilemma. Tom went above and beyond to ensure I got my parcel that day....so thank you Tom.”
“60 minutes held in a queue to speak to customer service staff no one answered!! Three days in a row called and kept on hold and BEEN CHARGED for the call!!
Sent 5 emails to customer service not one reply!!
Today I went into post office charged twice for same parcel!! PLEASE SOMEONE CLOSE THIS DOWN AND HOPE THEY ALL LOSE THERE JOBS SHOCKING”
“Honestly don't know how this service is still working. It is the second time I get ''sorry we missed you'' card even tough I am 100% sure I was at home at that time, but their employees can't even ring a door bell. It is so frustrating that all the big companies using this delivery service.”
“Royal Mail is an example of a big company that has a large amount of customers - both residential and business customers, more than any other postal companies because it's "The Royal Mail" so for them it means they don't need to give a rats ass about customer service or doing anything to improve their customer's user experience. What they do care about though is increasing postal charges every year. I hope soon there will be a new company that provides reliable service, fair in price and actually CARES about their customers - because Royal Mail does none of those.”
“"Royal Mail Tracked 48" Their website is quite clear they had the parcel locally Monday 5am. Never attempted delivery. Spoke to their Plymouth service centre, Friday Afternoon who said I could pick it up today. wasted nearly an hour driving there and back and waiting. The Local Branch has no idea where it is. Presumably lost - but I'm told it'll take 15 days before they acknowledge they've lost it...”
“Lying thieves
Pay for a "signed for" service - , they just gave it to a random with no signature at all. Promised to look into it within 10 working days. Another lie - been 3 weeks, not a sausage - no contact AT ALL
Take parcel - take money - steal parcel - lie about it.
They are EXACTLY like the local smack heads”
“I am not sure what is happening with Royal Mail team, but they already lost many of my parcels ,or has bean stollen by Royal Mail's employees.Which kind of people do you hire??”
“Absolute incompetents. Trying to book a Royal Mail door to door campaign, and the staff get everything wrong at every stage. What is wrong with these peoplemmm”
“Email which don't tell the truth, my address did not cancel the delivery, I didn't rearrange anything but have been waiting for a parcel to be delivered...why can't I claim compensation????”
“Terrible. Just terrible. What was our national postal service just so happens to be the worst postal service in the lane, especially for packages. Customer service is non-existent. You may as well speak to a computer (you often do after hanging on for 30 mins on the phone).
Do yourself a favour; find a better, cheaper and more reliable service with better customer service (which just so happens to be every other service available to you).”
“My post has been reported 4 times so far this year for being ripped open or not arrived, on one occasion royal mail apologised and posted it in a clear bag, but there was no card or money left inside!
They still say they do not believe this is down to royal mail and a automated letter of apology arrives each time Rubbish service!”
