Had to give 1 as couldn't give 0. Booked short break, after I hit payment button do I then get told everything is unconfirmed. Next day I get a phone call saying it's unconfirmed because airline have increased the return flight price by £700. I stated as far as I knew when I hit pay button everything is done. But no, their systems aren't live and this is normal. It's not, I've booked holidays online for many years and this is not the case. After trying to argue the point their agent hangs up on me. This has left me with no opportunity to find somewhere else as Portugal is rapidly selling out due to covid 19. They is called misrepresentation of advertising and mis-selling of goods to which I'm now in the process of starting a legal case against them, you picked the wrong person. These companies struggle through lockdown but as soon as it's possible go back to their greedy ways in messing people around. Cheers Sunshine and On The Beach, I shall now start to put this out to as many social media outlets as possible and will never give them any of my custom again. Please don't bother replying 'im sorry to hear you're not satisfied with our service, blame covid and we're learning' rubbish, the honest answer is you failed through greed and abysmal customer service.

Like the most recent reviews we are due to travel in 2 weeks and as yet nothing from sunshine. It's a shame as we have used sunshine and on the beach many times and now when we along with 1000s of other people are unable to contact them. Wait times for calls is through the roof today I was number 3 in the q and then 40 Mins later number 41. 24/48 hours turn round on messages is not happening it's now been 5 working days come on

We booked hotel only to Turkey June 15th/23rd. We obviously couldn’t go as no flights & hotel not even open. I have a hotel voucher to hand in on arrival so the hotel have not had my money as yet. I have had no communication from them about cancellation since I made my booking. Tried ringing them numerous times with waits of 140 minutes. After 6 messages sent through my booking I have now been told to get my refund through my insurance. Disgusting I will never book with them again or On the Beach parent company & will tell anyone else I know not to as well. Have put it in the hands of Resolver now

I cannot get in contact with this company and due to fly out to balearic islands on the 3rd of sept 2020 and cant risk it as I have ms. So I wanted to change it or get a refund and cant get a hold of them to talk about it.

Rubbish, you are ripping people of by taking payments early from banks without permission of the payee, unprofessional ripoff company.

It is impossible to get through on the phone to customer services. I understand the issues everyone is facing during COVID-19 but stop allowing people to book. I have a trip booked for Egypt 03/09/2020 and I just cannot get through to anyone about some issues. You call at 10 a.m. start in queue at No.23 with 20 min wait time, 1 hour and a half later I am No.96 in the queue - Ridiculous. I do not believe for one minute anyone is answering calls there, even though they claim to be. This is happening daily! Sending messages that are not getting any response and now I am completely unaware if this holiday will go ahead or not with only 2.5 weeks to go!

They charged me twice for airport transfer. First collect my money 29 July 44.86£ then 18 august full amount hotel plus airporttransfer. Its looks like my airport transfer cost me 89.72£. Contact with them is impassable. Not recommended.

We have a holiday book to majorca for 30th of August our hotel is closed and we wont to take the holiday over for next year we tasted them and there said it's going to cost us 1500 pound to change over or we lose 1500 for cancelling it so what do I do

Thank you for the final part of the refund for my cancelled June 2020 holiday. As for the bad reviews, most companies have taken around 2 months for refunds! I have been using Sunshine for a number of years (after numerous problems with Thomas Cook). All holidays have been perfect & not had any problems. Will definitely be booking again.

Sunshine Holidays have scammed us out of the entire cost of our holiday! Sunshine Holidays have refused to give us our money back due to the the cancellation of our holiday due to Coronavirus. Their get out clause was that we still could have gone on holiday even though we did not cancel, they refused to cancel our holiday even though the WHO was saying no foreign travel and Turkey had closed it's borders. They then made us pay for a no show letter and are refusing to give us a cancellation invoice. I am utterly disgusted with the customer service and treatment of us by this excuse for a company.

Following up from review which i left 2 weeks ago. Having got sick of waiting, i decided to call EasyJet and ask them the status of my refund. I was allowed to do this as whilst my booking was made via SunShine I did book some flight extras (Select seats) directly with EasyJet so wanted to know the status of my own refund also. I was advise the refund was completed July 15th - Almsot 4 weeks ago. They read of the ending of the cards they used to refund too and the amounts.. They confirmed my own card number for my direct select seat purchase and a card number not recognised to me they obviously refunded my flight element of my holiday too. How can it seriously take 4 weeks to refund the money to me once they have had it back from the Airline? It's a total joke. I have tried using there messaging app in manage my booking but it's totally pointless. They have just setup standard, automatic responses and then close your message down.. if you then open it up and respond to it they just ignore you. It's an absolute joke. furthermore i do start to question the validity of this review's sitedata.. i don't accept the 4.77 average rating? Go look at trustpilot.. Sunshine are a joke. I want my money back - which you have had for weeks - stop blaming the airlines - it's your stuff to sort out

Bad and unprofessional company, taking people's money before the due date before you have had a chance to cancel. This company is the same company as on the beach, together they are ripping the public of. Please don't chuck your money away to this company

We are meant to be arriving at our hotel in 6 days time. It has actually completely closed down and Sunshine Holidays has just taken the final balance out of my account anyway. I cannot get through to them on the phone, have had no reply to my emails. I just want to change hotels (to one that is open!) or get a refund but it is impossible to get in contact
