Impossible to get hold off. Made a booking, paid in full - booking doesn’t appear on the website. No one replies to my messages, contact centre is closed. Very bad customer care.

We are due to travel to Spain in a weeks time and with the current situation as it is we haven't been informed whether or not our flight is still going ahead. We have tried to call the nunber several times to contact them but we are always 101 or 102 in the queue, given a estimated waiting tine of 53 minutes ( totally unrealistic). After two and a half hours on the phone ( which is way longer than 53 mins) we were only 61 in the queue with a 2 minute waiting time???? Occasionally the number in line went up and then back down again. We had to hang up as the phone call would have been extremely expensive. We tried to email them but there is no way of doing this. So......we have one week left and haven't been informed what the situation is bearing in mind that we have to download a special code 48 hours before travelling to Spain. There is absolutely no way of contacting this Sunshine website so my husband and I are just going to have to hope for the best and hope that when we get to the airport our flight hasn't been cancelled.

I booked a holiday which is due to fly out on the 25th September to Spain. I contacted Sunshine in July to start the process of changing my holiday till next year. They asked for further info which I provided and I to date have not hard anything. One of our passengers is registered disabled, one has severe asthma we cannot travel. Also with the current quaratine in place on arrival back to the UK we cannot do this. We have tried to send messages with no response, tried contacting them on social media with no response and even tried to call and we get hung up on. I understand there is a crisis currently, however, fingers crossed this may not go on forever and you should look after the customers you do have currently. The way you have handled the whole situation is shocking. I still to date have had no further contact apart from an email asking for my next payment. Appalling service.

I've used Sunshine Holidays a few times to book our holidays. We have always found our perfect holiday through them, their prices are very reasonable and booking process so easy unlike some online agents where you book and they phone you and tell you that your holiday is not available. We recently had our holiday cancelled due to Covid 19 but they handled the process excellently, with great communication and we have finally got our refund from Easy Jet. I highly recommend this company and I just hope that they manage to survive these stormy waters at present.

Decided to change our Spain holiday in October to Malta, change of dates and hotel. Completed a change request online lunchtime Thursday, received a call today (Monday) double checking my changes and confirmation of extra cost, we are staying 2 nights longer. All sorted very quickly and efficiently. Email received within 2 minutes of call ending. Cannot fault Sunshine. This was a hotel only booking, we booked our flights direct with EasyJet. Will certainly use Sunshine again and the change request online is very effective.

Terrible company. They are charging me full price for a hotel in Spain, even though government guidelines are that we shouldn’t travel. Immoral and irresponsible trading in a time when people are already struggling. I’m stressed to bits with worrying about it. They’re impossible to contact and the only contact from them is generic/no reply emails. Avoid at all costs!!

Really disappointed with this company. They are charging customers full price for holidays to Spain when the government is telling people not to travel. Immoral and irresponsible trading practice. Avoid at all costs!

we booked our holiday via sunshine.co.uk which was 3rd may 2020, this didnt go ahead due to the covid coronavirus, we received an email from sunshine.co.uk that we must take action on our booking, the only action was to click cancel, we did not want to cancel due to lose of admin charges etc, but due to receiving that email i had to click cancel, now sunshine holidays have reduced our refund by £90 admin fee, so we may not use this companyy again in future unless the decision is changed by them on the beach and sunshine.co.uk i am led to believe the ssame company re:Under normal circumstances, if you were to cancel at this stage, you would have to pay £30pp to cancel the hotel and transfer, and &emdash; as the airline is currently still planning to operate the flight &emdash; any costs associated with the flight would be non-refundable, as per the airline's T&Cs. In light of the circumstances however, if you do choose to cancel now, you can do so for £30pp and if advice from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) later changes (meaning your flights cannot operate), then we will automatically refund the flight costs as well, providing we receive the refund from the airline. so if im waiting for a refund for flights as they didnt operate i shouldnt be charged admin fee either???

Don’t be enticed by their prices. Finally 4 months after our holiday was cancelled we received our refund - minus a £60 charge in the process! Our flight was cancelled so we could never travel & use our hotel booking, yet you charge £60 when you advised us to cancel it. I’ve always used on the beach & had a good experience. I recently learned these two companies are owned by the same company. I will never use either of these companies. Their phones have been switched off for 4 months, they don’t respond to emails unless your happy to get a cut and paste response. This company has no morals if they think it’s acceptable to charge £60 for no Reason when you haven’t fulfilled your part of the contract. Absolutely disgusting

They do not refund your money. if you don't want your money taken away without a refund i suggest you keep looking for another company as this is a very bad one. Their customer service is awful they are rude to customers and when your waiting in the que they drop the phone on you. Guys just don't bother with them. they are AWFUL.

We booked a holiday for Sept this year last August, unfortunately Thomas Cook went bust, refunded within days. Rebooked same hol going a day later, this has been cancelled on 20 July, received my refund yesterday (28th) fantastic service, I do realise how lucky I am to get refunded so quickly, thank you sunshine will use you again once safe. Also this was first hol we were going on with sunshine so not a repeat customer yet!!

In a polite word "shocking". I would use much worse!!! We contacted them due to the fact that I found out that the accommodation we had booked was going to be closed for the remainder of the season, not passed on by Sunshine! We have tried to contact them but they're NOT taking calls, only a messaging service, to which they're NOT responding to! We want our money back but this is proving extremely difficult. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Terrible customer service. All phone lines only take you to a recorded message saying to message them via their site. When you did message them, it can take a week+ to get a response and then the response is unhelpful. They did not make the effort to contact me when I needed urgent help regarding my booking which was set to start 36 hours from the FCO guidelines change. Because if this delay they missed out on cancelling my flights, hotel and transfer. Everyone I have spoken to has had the same problems with them. Will never use again no matter how cheap they are

Meant to fly out May 19th. Holiday was cancelled 2 weeks before by Sunshine - fully expected to be cancelled - was kept informed during that step. They said would take upto 8 weeks for a refund - STILL waiting - Zero communication from them. We were due to travel with friends - Exact same flights, hotel etc. We decided to book the package via Sunshine - They booked directly with Easyjet and directly with the hotel. They received their Easyjet refund within 28 days of requesting. I'm now almost 90 days since the original date the flight was meant to take off and still zero refund. My booking no longer comes up on the Easyjet website and Sunshine don't respond to any of the messages via their message centre. How can it be that Easyjet can refund within 28 days yet Sunshine can't refund me?? Service is terrible. 100% won't use again. Really desperate for the money but Sunshine don't care.

This is the worst company ever i went to Greece i payed everything for my holiday and when i arrived my hotel was closed they didn't tell that the hotel was closed and they do not communicate at all i had to go by myself to find a hotel.They don't respond on message or on call so i can get my money back.
