“We were introduced to Hatch chiles last month while on a roadtrip that took us through Southern NM. We were pleased to be able to order 'souvenirs' of our vacation when we arrived home and chose tamales as well as the jars of green chile roast (liked the hot the best). Added a few margaritas and had a great NM meal!”

“Love your chili.. love your products. I lived in NM for many years and moved east 20 years ago. I have been shipping green chili and products since before the ease of the internet. You have always been wonderful and no other products can compare! New jarred green chili is beyond delicious!!!! More orders to follow ! Thank you for the great job you do . Best green chili in the whole USA.”

Hi Michael, I am so sorry! It doesn't look like you reached out to our customer service team about this issue. I took a look at your order, it was placed on 5/25 and shipped on 5/26. The FedEx tracking number shows "Pending" which is the FedEx code for lost. I am so sorry, every now and then FedEx does lose a package. I've gone ahead and set up a reshipment for you, it will go out early next week. “The product itself was fabulous. But I placed this order for a shipment to Tennessee. I was advised of the shipping and delivery date. Unfortunately the shipment arrived a day late. This was not a Hatch Chile Store problem. It was a FedEx issue. However since the food was frozen and arrived a day late, the food could not be refrozen. 12 tamales and 12 chile rellenos are a lot to consume in a couple of days by only two people. I would be very hesitant to order perishable product again.”

Hi Barbara, It looks like you reached out to our customer service team and were concerned about the delay in transit. One of our team members inquired about the state of the products when they were delivered, but we did not hear back from you. We apologize for the inconvenience. As we try our best to provide exceptional service, some factors like shipping and handling are outside of our control, and issues like this can happen. It looks like your order was packaged for 2 days in transit but was delayed an additional day. Typically orders for frozen products arrived frozen with a small amount of dry ice left in the box. We never recommend our customers eat a product if it arrives warm and spoiled. Please dispose of the product. Our standard procedure here is to reship the order; however, if you would prefer a refund, we can do that as well. Please let us know which option you would prefer. In the future, if there is an issue when your order is delivered, please let us know. If we aren't informed, we do not have the opportunity to correct it :) Thanks, The Hatch Chile Store

“I ordered the fried chili releanos and green chili chicken tamales, and all I have to say is they were wonderful! A little fresh sour cream and salsa made a excellent meal.”

“This was my second order of Chile Rellenos from The Hatch Chile Store—and they are delicious. In the first order, the Chile Rellenos were large and one was filling; but in the latest order, they were all pretty small, more of a side dish than a meal. Not sure if that relates to the harvest and the drought, so I'm giving The Hatch Chile Store the benefit of the doubt. Besides, even if they were small, they were still delicious.”

“The product is great and the customer service is fantastic (though a bit pricey)! Only reason for 4 stars is that the product arrived thawed both with my initial shipment and my second (replacement) shipment. Need to do a better job of keeping the product frozen. Shipping services are not as fast as they used to be!”

“I have tried several products of the Hatch Chile Store, from diced green chilies to salsa and BBQ sauce. We thoroughly enjoy the flavor and level of spiciness from each product. I have green chilies in my eggs 4-6 mornings a week. I use the BBQ as inteneded as well as add a couple of table spoons to a container of sour cream to make chip/chiharron (pork rind) dip. We and an issue with packaging of a shipment that arrived with most of the jar broken. They immediately replaced the order without delay. A tasty product from great people!”

“We roast green chiles from Hatch by grilling them then fill up ziploc freezer bags to make them last into more than one season. The quality is reliable, service always great, and they fill our neighborhood with a New Mexico aroma like no other! The latest product I purchased were the packets of freeze dried green chiles. They make great gifts for our backpacking sons and my husband who camps out when he goes fishing. Easy yummy chiles in convenient pouches for adding to dishes from eggs to entrees cooked trail side. We’re so grateful to have Hatch products all year long.”

“I was accidentally shorted 2 jars of green chile. The Hatch folks instantly shipped the missing jars. I love these people! They keep me in chile out here in the chile-less wilds of New England.”
