“Although shipping seemed to be a bit of a problem this year, the staff was great to work with to get a second 25 pound box sent my way. The chili is beautiful and I got the equivalent of 38.5 four-ounce cans roasted, peeled, seeded and frozen! It tastes great and I would be at a real loss without the fine people at the Hatch Chili Store. Thanks again for your great chili and great customer service!!”

“I received my shirt and jar of chile great 👍. I never received my 60.00 of Chile I bought, so they refunded me the 60.00 and that's it.”

“I ordered my chiles months ago and couldn't wait to get them. I spent a Saturday afternoon roasting and packaging them. I've been making various recipes with them and have loved every one of them.”

“One box arrived out of two with loose chilis- 2 rotted. No written classification if they were medium or hot. I suspect they were not even 5 pounds (I ordered 10). Remove me from future emails. Terribly disappointed! Julie Lizotte 02719”

“So poorly packed (thrown in without any care) that the chiles ae broken, poked, etc. Of course, it means that even with 2-day shipping, damaged chiles were rotting and affecting all the adjacent chiles.”

“I ordered 10 pounds each of hot and extra chile to be shipped from NM to AZ (Tucson). When I received them, the peppers looked good. By the time I roasted them (one day after receiving them) half of the box had gone bad. However, I was able to rescue the rest of them and they are superb. It is better, in this heat, to buy them locally, I believe.”

“Hatch chile is the best. I'm from West Texas and I've been to that area a lot of times. I can remember when I was a kid they spread the chile out on the side of mountains to dry. I've eaten the chile from around Hatch all my life. I've never found any chile that can compare with it.”

“as my correspondence with Evan reveals, i had a bad experience. I paid over$200 for 2 day delivery and my chili arrived 9 days later.almost a quarter of them had gone bad. I've sent Evan some pics.”

“Very nice Lumbre chilis. Roasted up nicely. Hot, but not horribly so. Leaves a nice after glow in your mouth for some time. Only four stars because seven or eight of the pods were spoiled.”

“Received my extra hot green chile today. Used their 2 day shipping but it took 3 to receive - maybe due to being on the east coast - but I had zero spoilage so it’s all good. I roasted it all, and tasted some of it and it was very good! 2nd year in a row for me ordering their extra hot and it is so good. Not quite as hot as last year’s extra hot in my opinion, but it is still very hot and really flavorful. You can’t go wrong with their green chile. I’m very happy to have a freezer full of green chile and will be ordering from them again next year.”

“We ordered our Hatch Chile with the guaranteed shipping. Had very little spoilage and Hatch Chile Store gave us credit for loss. We ordered the hot Chile and it was excellent. Tasted great and just right for heat. We always order from The Hatch Chile store.”
