This is not Mart Masso, That is my father he paid for my chili last year. I have purchased from you twice this year. The first batch I received was great and delivered on time with no issues. The second batch I just received today however I can not say the same for. It did not come guaranteed 2 days like I paid for and i'm having to throw about half of the box away. I replied to the email of it stating I had received as well as to another one that I hadn't received it yet I asked for a phone call back as well and left a message by phone to the store and have not gotten anything in return as of yet.

Shipping was fast and easy. Great customer service: There was a small error with my order but they resolved it in 24 hours on a weekend.

I love chile and ever since we pcs’d from Colorado almost 8 years ago we don’t get chile like we used to. In California we were to far in the desert and now we are too far to the east. They don’t grow or sell anywhere here so I have to buy online to have it shipped. I love roasting and peeling my own chile, it’s a part of my heritage and life. I loved that you shipped in a timely manner everything came in great condition. My only complaint would be for all the chile to be of bigger size. I had a few small Chile’s and they really don’t make for much and I can’t just to the store or fans to buy more so for me quality and quantity matter, size matters. Overall child was good and I will order again I just hope for more average to large sized chile in the future. Thank you

I was expecting them to not just be thrown in a box that USPS had smashed. Half the box had to be thrown out due to this. While technically not your fault a better way to package them (or at all) could have avoided the damage. He did love the flavor of the ones he used.

The delivery time wasn’t communicated well until I contacted them but the product was received earlier than projected and in good quality.

The chili arrived just fine and we have only one problem in all the years we have been getting chili from you and that was not your fault, I would of said great but I did not get a notice that the chili had shipped, even though in a email I received I was told I would get a tracking number, all in all we have always have a good experience getting our chili from you and will continue to do so thanks Dan

So who doesnt love just receiving a 5lb box of chiles. Unfortunately i really worry about exposing food during the transport process and this box looked really beat up by the time it got here, would have been nice if the peppers had been put inside an additional insulative container like a breatheable sealed bag. Im writing because i care! Most of the peppers were definitely fresh, only some had started to soften but no discoloration or visually noticeable damage, but overall just a note for improvement. Otherwise, thank you!

Well packed although it would have been nice if they could have used less non-recyclable styrofoam in the box with the dry ice and chiles. Chiles themselves though are excellent, 5 stars.

I had 2 shipments. One to my parents in northern NM and another to me in NJ. My shipment to NJ arrived without a hitch and it was still deliciously frozen. The shipment to northern NM though was partially defrosted so it had to be cooked immediately. Unfortunately some of it had to be wasted as there was no way to know how long it had been defrosted. I would have hoped the NM shipment would have been in better shape... as it is "local."

My friends happily received their chile, but it was too hot for them. Not your fault - mine. They received a bottle of red chile sauce. I believe i ordered green. Your service has been great in the past. I will order again, but i was disappointed about the red instead of the green.

The big jims were excellant. The lumbres had something that caused them to disolve. Turn putred and run out the bottom of the box. Some were salvageable. But pretty stinky. Weird. Carl Johnson

I received an email on 8/6/19 telling me I would receive my peppers in a few days. I called on 8/17/19 to check on my order because my peppers never came. I was told my order was canceled because you ran out of hot. I was told you were going to pick more and they would ship on 8/24/19. I called and was told they missed shipping mine and now they will ship next week. I guess I will have to call again to find out since you fail to communicate with your customers. Update. Because of the problems I was contacted and given a fair offer. I love the peppers and will continue to buy them.

You did good. Roasted the Chile and then tried for the heat that you indicated was Xtra hot. Are you sure you sent me the Xtra hot because this batch the heat was very little. It actual tasted like medium hot. Hope I was sent the right Chile I requested.

Though the quality of the Chile is great, I had to call to request it be shipped. It took much longer to get this year than last and I don’t know what the hold up was. Staff was accommodating and I received my order when they said I would.

I have always been very happy with products and services here BUT this year is a very different experience. My chilies arrived today (in two days) but with no ice or container for ice in cardboard box. Box was leaking because of the spoiled chilies (47) and damaged 14. What a mess. I will be preparing leftovers ASAP to try to save the rest. I notified Hatch after I posted the review and they responded that since I had used their recommend method of shipping, they would replace the loss. About a week later they sent out another 5 pounds of chilies. As I said at the start I am usually ecstatic about Hatch. I am only happy this year.

Hi Reid, It looks like you got in touch with us about your order for 25lbs of Fresh X-Hot Hatch Green Chile. You told us that you lost about 15-20 percent of the entire order and sent us some photos. We then shipped out another box of Fresh X-Hot Hatch Green Chile to replace your spoilage since you selected 2-Day Air. Was there something more we could have done? Thanks, Taylor
