“I know this was a rough season. Many farmers of all kinds were negatively affected by weather conditions this year. I understand. But still, this is the worst box of chilis I've ever gotten in all the years I've been buying from you. It makes you look very overpriced.”

“Last year there were a few issues and this year even more. The chiles that arrived were not in very good shape and when I discussed with the company, I did not pay for express shipping even though it was still $22 so I was left with dehydrated chile, wrinkled chile and some chile that had oozed and leaked all over the box. I think at this point, 3rd time ordering was not a charm but the worst of the 3. Pre-ordered only to be told no more 5lb boxes but 4lb, cost of shipping, then the delay due to the issues (understandably) and then the arrival and after all was said and done, and roasted and peeled, I have less than 4lbs of chile. Time to reconsider the options.”

“We will definitely order fresh chilis from Hatch Chile Store every year. Received 8 pounds veryfresh, roasted them on our grill, peeled and packed 2 in each baggie and in the freezer. Fabulous flavor, mild-medium is just right. I like their customer service, emailed info and recipes.Just totally pleased all the way around!”

“Ordered one box each Hatch - Hot, medium, and mild. All are delicious, look great, and heat is as described. Shipping was fast! Enjoying at least one chile at every meal, including snacks (Tomato sandwich with sliced Mild or Medium chile).”

“This was my first time buying Hatch Green Chili from the Hatch Store. The chili’s were fresh and in beautiful condition on arrival. The customer service was great; I was glad to get emails about shipping. I will defiantly buy next year and look forward to using the ones I roasted and froze in the future.”

“Regrettably, for me there seems to be a learning curve when it comes to ordering Hatch ChiliStore chili, but ultimately it all worked out. That said, nothing diminishes the quality of the product. When it comes to ordering specialty foods there’s Maine’s lobster, Alaska’s King Crab and or salmon, there’s Texas’ Gulf Shrimp, and Hatch, New Mexico’s chili and chili products. New Mexico’s fine contribution to culinary must haves! Great stuff! Here in Minnesota we, our family orders chili, roasts it, has a fun day eating fresh chili, processes it and freezes the rest. Nothing warms you inside on those frigid Minnesota winter days like Hatch, chili.”
