“I hate to leave a review even. I sent 2 emails to your customer service because there were so many rotted peppers in the first box I received. The whole box made my kitchen smell like rotten peppers instantly. The second box came and I almost just threw the whole box out. It was dripping. The box was opened, not even sealed. It was awful. I was so disappointed. I was so excited to get them and was just expecting to love them. I still have not heard back from customer service.”

“We received the 2 boxes of chiles in very good condition. We roasted them the next day. However, we did notice that the chiles were packaged incorrectly. I ordered one box of mild and one box of medium. The medium box was definitely mild, and the mild were definitely medium.”

“Always look forward to hatch chile season. Unfortunately my order this year was delivered late by FedEx so they were not as fresh as I had hoped. Only had to throw out a couple though and the rest went straight to roasting on the grill. Will be ordering again soon.”

“The chile is outstanding. After roasting it peels so easily. They sent me 3 boxes of Big Jim instead of 2 Big Jim and 1 Lumbre. I called and they immediately sent me the Lumbres for free even though I offered to split the difference. Such nice people! I have ordered from them for years. Always good. Lumbres arrived in perfect condition as were the BJs. So, I then ordered a box of Sandias. 125 pounds in total. Can't go wrong with these guys.”

“We order our chili from The Hatch Chili Store every year. They have great customer service and their chili is big and meaty. Being in MN we should pay the extra for shipping but we havent and considering the time frame on regular shipping we’ve done well.”

“Ordered fresh by accident but going old school and roasting on the grill took me back to college days in ABQ in September. All the roasters on 4th Street and you could smell roasting chile for miles. ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“We roasted ours on the grill and sweat them in gallon size baggies. We diced them and bagged them for the freezer. They are awesome. Will definitely buy them again.”

“My order of 25lbs of chilies came and I am really enjoying them. I roasted them in the broiler (that took about 2 hours), then peeled a bunch of them. The rest went into the freezer unpeeled.”

“I was very disappointed in my order of green chili and cheese Tamales. They were over salted and over steamed. Steamed to the point of husk looking dark brown to black. I appreciated the delivery as it was very time efficient. That was the only positive part of my order. Very very disappointed with my Hatch order. Gary Mellor”
