“These are the best dried Chile pods and always packed with care and always fresh. I live in Hawaii and the order was shipped really fast it was here within a week or less after ordering. I also love their website with recipes”

“Chile is excellent. This was a gift to my sister-in-law in Denver. She was thrilled & so happy to get some Hatch chile. She said the red chile sauce was so good & couldn't wait to use the frozen green chile. Order arrived in perfect condition & right on time. Will definitely order again. Great gift ideas.”

“Chili is good. The shipping process was not! The chili arrived on a Sunday, which was odd. Good think we were home. The Dry ice was completely gone, and the chili was near being completely thawed. The email I received stated I was supposed to get it on Monday. I am very glad it came on Sunday as I am afraid the Chili would have been a total loss due to being thawed for an extended period of time.”

“Excellent taste....expensive per pound cost but well worth the convenience and fact that here in CA we cannot get. Medium is sometimes not necessarily medium in heat but still works. This order sat at the FED EX station just 15 miles from me for 5 days!!! so when the chili finally arrived one pack was slightly defrosted. Not sure how to fix that delivery problem.”

“It is important to know exactly which chiles are most useful for your use but once you do, they are exceptional and arrive well packaged. For me, I like the fresh chiles that come in August and the whole roasted chiles that arrive frozen at other times of the year.”

“I ordered 25 pounds of the Big Jim/Charger and it's the blandest, mildest chile I've ever had. According to the store the amount of rainfall and buying late in the season are the contributing factors. So why sell it to me then? Most of these chiles are so small I'll use them for salsa. Unfortunately I have no other way to get them.”

“While on a recent roadtrip through NM, we were fortunate to enjoy numerous preparations of hatch chilies. I had to get my hands on some! A quick Google search and I found The Hatch Chile Store. I ordered a 5# box of fresh chilies (I was lucky too because the season ended a week later!). We arrived home and our chilies were here and perfect! I immediately roasted them all and made little freezer bags. My genius daughter suggested I puree the skins, seeds, and ribs with a little water and some salt - waste not, want not! It made the loveliest chile puree/sauce! I plan to use some of the roasted chilies in our Thanksgiving roasted sweet potatoes with onion, cilantro and crema fresca. I will definitely order again next summer!”
