“I was originally looking for a tour to Nairobi, and I checked many sites. Then, I stumbled upon the Tour Rader site and I have been pleased. They are quite responsive and I had several questions. As a result of their responsiveness, I decided to combine my trip and add Egypt as well. I have already started to look for next year's trip, and I will be using this site.”

“Ad failed to indicate that trip insurance was required for the tour, something that we have not been required to purchase on any other tour we've taken (4-5 overall). But my feedback on this subject was well received and I was told that, henceforth, mention of the insurance requirement would be included earlier in the process.”

We'll reach out to you directly to discuss your feedback on the usability of our booking confirmation page as we're keen to understand more about the difficulties you've had. Regarding travel insurance, it's true that many tour operators have minimum insurance requirements for you to join their tours. While we strongly recommend a comprehensive travel insurance policy for all travellers (covering illness, theft, broken/damaged items etc,), many operators have rather basic minimum requirements for traveller insurance, requiring just the basics of emergency medical and repatriation during your time on their tour. What many travellers often don't realise is, they may be covered for these fundamental basics by their credit card company or their private health insurance. Of course, each and every insurance policy is different, and they vary greatly from one country to the next, so it's important every traveller checks this thoroughly before making a decision to purchase or opt out of an additional comprehensive travel insurance policy. “Have just booked my first tour; so far so good. Website is easy to navigate, FAQ answered many of my questions and agents have been friendly and especially helpful. If the entire tour goes as smoothly as the booking this should be a GREAT trip.”
