Dreadful service and security not taken seriously. Arrived at the hostel which takes the bags, and shown upstairs. Other were in front of me. I was told to leave my bags in a small gap between two rooms which anyone in the hostel had access to. A sign advised residents they could leave their bags there on check out day. No bags had the none tamper seals the people who left bags in front never requested and were not offered this. I asked for the none taller seals though they would not stop someone simply picking the bag up and walking away. The guy sullenly went away to get the tags. He placed them on two of the three bags. I asked what about the third bag, he looked annoyed and got a third tag and placed on the third bag. The tags were incorrectly placed on the bags, they are actuallly still on there now as they were simply placed through one Ip hole on two bags and through the handle on the other, I am unsure if he did this deliberately as this did not prevent anyone opening the bags. At this point he walked off and I felt uncomfortable tackling him as to why he had not used the tags correctly by threading them through both zip holes to prevent the bags from been opened. Subsequently I had to take my laptop and an unopened iPad out of the bags and carry them for the day as Inconsidered security at this place to be none existent. I took a chance with a larger 17” laptop in another bag and fortunately got away with it. I will not use this company again to store baggage for me, I may as well have hidden the bags somewhere and hoped no one would see them as basically it was hand over some money and take a chance. This is not what I expected and doubt how people have been trained to carry out this task. Do not use.

Booking online etc was great but the shop that it was booked into was hopeless. I don't think the guy I spoke to spoke English, he certainly had no idea why I was there or what I wanted. We got there in the end and he took my suitcase further up the shop and just seemed to leave it there in the shop should anyone decide to take it, so no I won't be going back there again.

I reserved a spot for luggage storage in downtown Chicago. I then needed to cancel it relying on Vertoe’s free cancellation policy. It was easy to reserve, but impossible to cancel. Vertoe would not let me sign in saying it did not recognize my password. I tried 3 times to change my password but no email arrived with the instructions. None of the promised safeguards were implemented for my luggage. Whole experience felt very poorly planned and I didn't feel comfortable leaving my luggage at the drop spot. I booked a location for several bags and was excited to see in the receipt email that the storage location would check my ID and tag my luggage with a serialized ziptie to prevent tampering and ensure proper verification for pickup. But when I arrived to drop off the luggage, not only did the shop owner not check my ID or booking confirmation, but I was not provided any tags to lock my luggage and he said he didn't have a system to check ID for pickup. I would normally blame the shopkeeper, but I explicitly asked him if he had ever received any sort of training or overview of normal procedure from Vertoe and he said he'd never received any. I even showed him the email confirmation explaining the serialized zipties and ID requirements but he said he'd never seen those before.

Was looking for a place to store our large suitcases near Newark’s Penn Station for a trip into the city before a flight out of EWR. This appeared a good idea, but the location was a 5 minute walk out of the station through a neighborhood filled with panhandlers and I was not going to subject my family through such a walk. This restaurant that was going to store my bags was not convenient without using a cab or Uber to get there. And you can’t get a refund once your “time slot” has started. I would not use Vertoe again! A good idea poorly executed! Follow up: Emily replied that I could have gotten a full refund up to 24 hours after the booking. This was not stated anywhere in the confirmation email when booked. The quote on the email is “We offer free cancellation. You will get a full refund if plans change anytime before your check in time! Visit vertoe.com and login to your account to cancel your booking”. I didn’t set up an account, nor would I for a one-time use. If they offer a refund up to 24 hours after booking, it should say so in the confirmation email. It doesn’t!

Bad experience. I completed booking and was set up to drop off my bags for a few hours before I could check into my Airbnb in Chicago. I arrived at the establishment that Vertoe partnered with to find it closed. I had to figure something else out. Vertoe was a complete waste of money and time for me.

I made a reservation which I later wanted to change. When I logged on to my account, they had no record of my reservation so I couldn’t cancel. However, I was charged full price for a service I couldn’t cancel or change because they didn’t have a record of it.

I was very uneasy about leaving my luggage with the Vertoe partner--for good reason, as it turns out. It was a souvenir shop in NYC and when we dropped off our bags, the gentleman took them, told us to take a photo of the tag numbers and then he disappeared. When he came back, I asked if there was anything else we needed to do and he said no. When we returned, a different man was running the store. He didn't ask for our tag numbers, he just told us to walk around the store to find our bags. We could have taken ANYONE's luggage. No security at all. I will never use this service again.

Per quel che riguarda l'applicazione niente da dire: intuitiva, veloce e funzionale. Per quel che riguarda chi ci ha custodito i bagagli un po meno: nessun locale adibito alla custodia; dove avevo messo io le valigie, li sono rimaste alla portata di tutti fianco del ricevitore di cassa. Pensavo che dopo averle riposte li io, le avrebbero spostate in un luogo diverso. Non penso che mi rivolgerò in futuro a loro.

From UK, needed to leave luggage somewhere so we could enjoy a few more hours before we got our bus. Found this site, was really easy to use and went without a hitch. Would use again and highly recommend

This was absolutely horrible service. First, the app did not work correctly. I had trouble from the beginning with it. We went to check in and it was a random room they kept our luggage in with the door wide open the whole time. My friends app didn’t work at all and her reservation got cancelled and the man made me pay him 6 more dollars after I have paid 11 dollars to store 2 of my bags in AN UNSECURED OPEN ROOM. He promised the room would stay locked. I walked in to get them and it’s wide open. Completely dissatisfied with this service. Will not use again or recommend. Pathetic.

Crappy website. The pay button malfunctions. Eventually my booking went through as I pushed on ‘pay’ several times and I didn’t know about it until it as the screen didn’t give any co formation. Found out that the booking went through after was too late to use.

When I walked into the gift shop, the staff did not know what Vertoe was. I showed them my email confirmation and after speaking with their manager they began the process of tagging my bag. After taking a photo of my bag tag, the staff member asked me to place my bag in the corner of the gift shop just beneath some T-shirts they were selling; not locked up or in their back room or anything. When I came back three hours later, luckily my bag was in the same spot. The same staff person recognized me and did not ask for proof of the tag photo. It was very unnerving to leave my bag, which had my computer in it, just sitting in the corner of a store not locked up and in plain sight, and then not be asked for the tag photo before grabbing my bag. Overall, this was a poor experience and I will not be using this service in the future.

Didn’t even get to use the service. I booked the storage because there weren’t any options offered by the airport I was flying out of. When I arrived at the storage location, it worried me because of the state of the surrounding area. Additionally, the layout of the store provided very little protection from any possible thievery. The Vertoe bag insurance (of up to $5000) theoretically would have protected me from any liability; however, this was not even the biggest issue. I went inside the store to confirm my reservation and figure out what to do with my bags, but the two people inside the store had no idea what I was talking about and spoke no English. After attempting to explain to them with the help of their young grandson, who was translating for me, for about 10 minutes, I had gotten nowhere and couldn’t leave my bags there. I needed to return my rental car and get to an appointment, so I had to just abandon the reservation. Since I arrived at the location at the time of the reservation, it was also too late to cancel it, per the Vertoe policy, so the money was a complete waste. My issue with the entire situation is that I don’t believe Vertoe properly assesses these locations for their ability to perform this service. I’m sure my situation was a perfect storm of issues, but I will not be using Vertoe again, to avoid any future trouble.

Soooo this location was not ideal. We were ten minutes early for our reserved time and the woman didn’t want to accommodate us. When she finally agreed, our bags were placed in the tiny, dirty cleaning closet. Tiny, like step in, turn around, step out tiny. And the utility sink was in there. So if they had to use the sink they would have had to remove our bags in order to reach it. Would NOT recommend Su Casa in Chicago.

Luggages were kept at shop’s entrance and when I picked them up, nobody asked me for my code or ID. I already booked this place for the day of my check out, but when I came the shop was closed without any notice. Poor service

If I could give a zero I would, I paid online, booked it at a location on Monday in downtown Boston. Carried my luggage all the way there and it was closed. I ended up carrying it and didn't get my money back.

The luggage was kept inside of the store not in a secuere room anyone inside the store could have opened or taken our bags. The man when we went to collect didn’t ask to see the photos we took of the tags but confirmed the number I could have said yes to any of them. I will not use this service again

I am very conflicted writing this review. The ladies at Atlas were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. Making the booking was easy. However I chose Atlas because of the 6pm closure. Upon arrival I was told the office closed at 5pm and had to return prior to that to get my bags. That 1 hour really messed up my sole day in Seattle. I was told that they had contacted Vertoe to arrange some compensation. But to date that hasn’t occurred either.
