“In regard to the user experience, I was impressed. It was seamless, fast, responsive and easy to navigate. 5 stars for that. Bought into the agency experience because I wanted to try the dark spot formula. I have relatively nice and clear skin just some dark spots from pregnancy and sun exposure.
I tried the formula and it took my skin from clear to breaking out like a teenager. I have been absolutely mortified as to how poorly my skin responded. After a few weeks I decided to throw in the towel. Just not good for me.
Cancellation was simple and without a hassle. Sad that the product didn’t work and created more problems.”
“I used for 9 months, every single day, for mild skin concerns (dark spots, dull skin, fine lines), and did not see any improvement. The doctors give you generic advice, and even though I took progress pictures and such throughout, they were not helpful or sympathetic about having zero results after 9 months. Save your money for an actual dermatologist.”
“This is a good basic prescription for tretinoin. My biggest complaint is shipping and tracking. Customers should be allowed to track their prescription products after it is shipped. Agency only uses the cheapest method of shipping prescription medication with USPS and there is absolutely no way for customer to track shipment. All other online companies of this nature send their customers tracking information and Agency needs to step up and do the same”
“I really really really wanted to like this company/regimen, but unfortunately it was not to be. I’m someone who rarely leaves reviews, but I felt like I needed to in this case. I used it for 2.5 months, and my skin has never looked worse. I was fully prepared for the dryness and flaking that comes with retinol in the beginning. But, with ongoing use of Agency products, my skin became more sullen, pores and fine lines much more noticeable, dry and just overall lackluster. I also started developing little bumps and raised patches, almost like tiny pimples but not. I looked older and more tired, keeping in mind that nothing in my life changed. I for the most part eat healthy, drink water and I don’t consume alcohol. I canceled my subscription because I couldn’t afford to continue using it, hoping for a turn around.”

Let me tell you how much I love these products! About a year and a half ago I noticed a lot of dark spots starting to pop up all over my face. I then started hiding behind makeup to cover the spots.
Within 2 weeks of starting my Agency journey I started to see a difference in my spots and my skins tone. Before Agency my spots could be seen though full coverage foundation. I am happy to report that after 12 weeks that is not the case.
My skin tone is smoother, glowing and younger looking.
I am loving the confidence these products have given me. No more hiding behind make up. Most days I only wear moisturizer, sunscreen, and a tinted primer.

“I was able to try Agency Skincare for three months complimentary in exchange for my honest review. Thanks to influencer :) After taking a short skincare quiz and uploading *unfiltered* photos of your skin, I they had a dermatology provider create a custom skincare formula just for me. I received the Future Formula and Dark Spot Formula as I have a couple dark spots on my cheek from the sun. I was very happy with the product, it was mild and did not interact with my skin at all. Each month before the new formula was sent out the dermatologist checked in with me to see if my formula needed adjusted. I was able to get more than a month out of the formula as I only needed one pump, but everyone is different so it’s possible that might not be the case for you. I really enjoyed their product and look forward to trying others they offer.”

I will say that the products are a little pricey, but it was nice that I did not have to go to a dermatologist because I am busy. “I received the Agency future formula free for testing purposes and was very impressed with the company. My only reservation in continuing would be the high price point, but it is comparable to a visit to the dermatologist and many prescription product costs with a lot less hassle! The nurse practitioner really listened to my concerns and even suggested several products from other companies to help with my acne- I bought 2 of them and they were amazing finds that have really helped with my chest acne! I felt that my future formula was very personalized to my needs and wants and the provider checked in to ensure that I wasn’t having any issues before increasing the concentration for month 2. The directions were very clear and repeated and as a pharmacist I know it was great advice (eg applying retinoids at bedtime to dry skin and wearing sunscreen). The product itself was very tolerable when used as directed. I experienced minimal redness and I like the easy to use pump packaging. I felt that I was given very realistic expectations and I noticed both less acne (not the primary goal) and improvement in the appearance of my pores.”

Getting started is easy, you fill out a questionnaire and submit photos of your face that they have one of their doctors look at to recommend a treatment plan. Communication is all done through the Agency website, and responses are definitely faster than I expected. They sent effective products and I felt like my skincare concerns were heard. It's a little pricey, but a decent solution to those who don't have easy access to a dermatologist.”
“I received these products for free for testing purposes and my honest opinion. First off, I thought this was a cool concept. I like that you can talk to an expert and have them come up with a formula personalized for your own individual skin concerns. I have combination skin and very few breakouts. I am definitely looking to keep my skin looking young and wrinkle free. My formulas ended up having some trentinoin, hydroquinone, and hydrocortisone to name a few. I did notice a difference when I started using it. I got a tad sensitive, so the expert kept me on the same formula for the second batch. I’m not sure if this is related, but I’m not sure if these ingredients triggered a cold sore. I haven’t had one for 6 years or so and I’m not sure why it happened, but it made me scared and discontinue the Agency products. If that didn’t happen, I probably would have continued.”
“I review these products for free in exchange for my honest review. I received the future formula and dark spot formula. I used these products for about 6 months off and on due to chemical burn. I had to consultant my doctor, contact the agency specialist and discontinue use until my skin healed. It occurred when I tried to reintroduce other skincare products back into my regimen. So once I started using the products again I introduced other products one by one instead of all at once which worked fine. I loved that the formulas are tailored to my skin texture and type. I definitely recommend this for clear, smooth glowing skin. Unfortunately, I couldn’t continue my subscription because it wasn’t in my budget at the time but will definitely resubscribe in the future.”
“I received the products free of charge in exchange for my honest review. I was excited to take the quiz and get a product formulated just for me. My skin doesn't have many issues except for the occasional acne, but love skincare over makeup to keep with the preventative. I tend to lean towards clean skincare as much as possible so in the beginning I was hesitant to try. After much thought and review reading i decided to give it a go. The product arrived pretty quickly and were very communicative about the process through emails about what to expect and how best to use the product. When I used it the first night I had slight burning and itching that lasted for quite a bit. My face also broke out in the beginning, but after a couple weeks started to look amazing. At the month check in, I decided to not change my formula hoping that my face would get used to product. Unfortunately it did not. Even though my face had cleared up I felt it was very sensitive and started to peel. There’s a month check in where I stated I was uncomfortable but the formula did not change as I was at the lowest amount of active ingredients. I continued to use it every other night in hopes it would get better.I stopped using the product until summer was over at least to lessen the sun exposure. I'll see how it goes over the Winter. Although it made my skin clear, I feel I like other products similarly.”

I figure led it would go away, sadly it did not. There’s a month check in where I stated I was uncomfortable but the formula did not change as I was at the lowest amount of active ingredients. I continued to use it every other night in hopes it would get better. It did not. I stuck it out in Hopes of bettering my skin. Unfortunately after a few months I don’t really see a dramatic difference. Not one worth the uncomfortable sensations when I put it on. “I thought this was a really cool service. I enjoyed getting product recommendations from an expert. My biggest issue with Agency is that they didn't have enough products for various skin types. When I started to have a breakout from their formula, my "expert" recommended a bar of soap from Amazon. That just felt kind of tacky to me. I guess I expected that a skincare company would have alternative or additional products that they would be able to recommend. I would love to try the service again if they expanded their product line to suit more skin types and skin concerns.”
“I'm using this product every other day, because it let my face a little red if using every day. In the beginning i felt amazing with my skin but after some time started to appear some acne and blackheads that it is till today. I have to say that about the red in my face, the customer service was amazing and had someone to help me super fast.

It is shipped in the most protective, sturdy packaging and they are in the cutest bottles! It comes with instructions on exactly how to use the products and it’s easy to change up the dosage, etc of the skincare as your skin changes with the online emails they send asking about how well the products are working!”
“I’ll start by saying I don’t have super sensitive skin. I’m experienced using acids and peels as a part of my daily routines but this was my first time time using retinols. I loved it. I experienced dry and flaky skin at first which quickly went away but that’s to be expected as well as a brief purging period. I found the derm to be extremely communicative. I did ask for some specific ingredients to be included in my formula that I knew my skin responds well to and that was always accommodated. I always got emails asking for skin check in’s and if I wanted to change the formula between each shipment and they were able to answer all my questions. If people had an issue with how their skin was reacting to the products they should have said something.
My ONLY grievance with this is that the dark spot formula runs out way quicker than the future formula since you are supposed to use it twice a day. They shouldn’t be the same size bottle for this reason. You should get a larger bottle of the future formula.
I did receive this product for a 3 month trial period and I did renew my subscription on my own. I love having less products to apply and it’s all combined in one as well as the convenience of not having to go to the doc for these ingredients.”
“I really liked the Dark Spot Formula, but the Future Formula was way too harsh for my skin. Even using the sandwich method and introducing it slowly, I had really severe purging/breakouts when I introduced the retinol and had to stop using it. The Future Formula is really nice though, and I’ll definitely continue using it.”
