“Terrible customer service.
Placed an order went through, then received email that order canceled( no explanation). Phoned to find out why. Was told that they were not sending to Vancouver because of floods. She said to try again on Monday. Not available in my size when I reordered. Emailed customer service for info on stock two days later no response.”
“Lack of customer service....there is currently no way to contact them by phone. The Chat with us Button referred to on their Contact us page is never visable. Emails take 7+ days to get an answer. No returns labels sent with shoes now....Clarks assume we all have printers to print a return label.”
“Been wearing "Nature" for about about 40 years, they used to be brilliant. If the soles wore out, you sent them back to the factory for a "rebuild". Then they stopped that service, and you had to dump the shoes when the sole was finished. The soles used to really last. The latest pair I bought a couple of years ago, and they are rubbish. the soles have holes and even the leather is cracking. I don't wear them continuously, but rotate them with 3 other pairs. Junk, at £90 a pair!”
“I have recently ordered clark sandals through Ajio and I'm unhappy with the product quantity. It's straps pinches the little toe and feel uncomfortable after an hour of wearing. I thought Clark is one of the most comfortable footwear and I've used it for the first time and I'm highly disappointed. I don't recommend this particular product.”
“Bought my 10 year old son school shoes last April . Last week after only 4 months and 3 weeks wear I noticed Both shoes had split where the lining meets the shoe . There is scarcely any wear on the sole or toes and it is clearly a manufacturing fault . Had his feet measured and he is the same size . Have bought school shoes for years from Clark’s but they insist it is normal wear . I used a different company today”
“My 2-year olds shoes became extremely damaged at the toe after just two days! I emailed Clarks and sent photos but their customer service was appalling. I’ve never had that happen with any of the Start-rite shoes my toddler has worn in the past. Very disappointing and I’ll never purchase from Clarks again due to their customer service.”
“Appalling . Impossible to return items by hermes.request a return label talk to them on their chat system always closed even in stated opening hours. Had to travel 20 miles to use a printer in the end. No complaints phone no. Disgrace.”
“I've been a Clarks customer for years. These were a really really good quality shoe in the past. In the last three years, I'm thinking I have bought about five pair of clogs/mules. The quality has suffered terribly which is why I have bought so many in three years. My shoes have fallen apart at the sole/heel. The material has either come untucked from the sole at the heel or the latest pair of Sillian have collapsed at the back heel. I am currently searching for another shoe. Don't waste your money on Clarks.”
“Ordered school shoes to collect as I just had an operation, although they were instore, I couldn’t collect my order until 3 days later after school started. So I went to the shop and bought the shoes and requested a refund on my order, staff said I had to do it online . There was no option to request a refund online. I called the shop they said they couldn’t help it was all online. So I filled out a customer complaint form online which told me to wait 14 days. A week later no one in the shop can help I never had the shoes can’t get hold of customer Service don’t know how to get my £50 back. AVOID No longer any customer service!!”

Quality has been completely sacrificed by this Company, and after 40 years as a happy customer, my tenure has ended.
It’s a shame, but karma comes to all.

I have had 1.00 flip flops that lasted for years! Clarks customer service very rude and not helpful, they appear to be in England. I am very disappointed with Clark’s and feel the quality was very poor.”
“I ordered July 23, emailed the company because I did not receive my order. I received an email promptly stating my order was being shipped from China. Well, I received the sandals today I could have gotten a better product from any dollar store. Their was no shipping label to return them but they are not worth the postage. My flip flop are made of better materials. They should be ashamed of themselves to be called Clark USA.”
“Working behind a bar for 10+ hours a day I always wore Clarks shoes as they were so comfortable. Upon my retirement I continued with my faith in Clarks. However, I can only think that they have now outsourced their production to another Country (probably beginning with 'c')
Although these have been in the wardrobe for a few years they are like new. I will share photographs before I put them in the bin!!”
“Visited Clark’s in Reading. Wanted my daughter to get measured for school shoes. One person already measuring a child, while 6 staff stood round chatting. Store very quiet. Spoke to manager to ask if my daughter could be measured, she advised to get a ticket & wait.
We waited, staff walked past, chatting & drinking from their water bottles. Looked at us & ignored us. Our turn to get measured did not come. We Gave up.
Plenty of staff, but they could not be bothered.
Very poor service.”
“Not recommended! Totally unreliable online shopping experience! The delivery estimation days in their website are misleading. It's been 20 days since my purchase. The customer support doesn't provide explanation for the delay or information on when I can expect my item. I also contacted the associated delivery company (Fedex) but same problem. Still do not know if/when I will ever receive the item I paid for. The customer support of clarks always responds with generic copy-paste emails; either bots or they do not even read the emails. I have also contacted them for a smaller issue in the past, to correct a phone number, and it was the same.”
