“This is the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. I will never order from SHEIN again and will make sure that I share my negative experience with all my friends and family. I have been trying to return items for over a week. When I get to the next step button in the return process it does not work. I just get a little red circle. There is no customer service. You keep getting the same automated messages over and over. No way out. Don't waste your time on this company that offers "free" refunds.”

“bad experience to buy shirts from them , one month ago I ordered 5 shirts from shein they shipped 2 missing 3 they ignore. I give zero star for them not recommend.”

“I have to tell that experience with this site is awful. I ordered my maternity clothes, paid for it. And ordered express delivery. It never arrived. They tell me they reship, but then two items they can't deliver, which they told they would. They took my time, and gave too much stress, which should don't go with ordering maternity or any kind of clothes. It is awful site. The most awful in the world. And nothing arrived to me of what I ordered. Don't use this site. Will just give you stress and take your time and money.”

“I have TWO outstanding refunds that have not been refunded back to my credit card. The refunds were confirmed 6 weeks ago Shein. There is no landline to call for UK customers. Their LIVE CHAT is useless. This company is scamming people.”

“Increadibly poor quality clothing. Sizing extremely off and definitely not designed for westerners. Fabric quality is all synthetic and marginal at best. Much of it is laughably ridiculous. Products generally do not match even closely what advertised photos depict. Customer service is non existent and returns are all at customer expense. Do not purchase without a credit card that will back a consumer purchase. Also be prepared for identity theft once a purchase has been made. Shein will sell credit card information to hackers who will soon make fraudulent purchases on the same card. Overall Shein is a chicom scam. They also own Romwe and will ship purchases on that site with Shein packaging and vice versa. Shein also uses slave labor and dumps unused materials and chemicals. Many of their products reek of chemicals and dyes are not hardened and will stain other fabrics -sometimes while being warned. bottom line -avoid at all costs.”

“There’s a hidden handling fee of £25, I spent over £200 and wasn’t aware of any handling fee. I won’t be shopping here ever again. There a scam and the quality of the items are poor.”

“Shein is like a Drop-shipper, orders are ship from China and the money ship there as well. Takes a long time to get your merchandise and to get a refund if you are lucky. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED! If you don't read the description, 90% of the products are made a super light-weight polyester fabric for the purpose of shipping it cheap and the quality is extremely poor. Something to be expected coming out of China. Buy at your own expense.”

“Very disappointed, will not be ordering from this company ever again. Appalling customer service. Impossible to return items to obtain a refund leaving you with clothes you don’t want and are unable to return and therefore out of pocket. Cheap fabrics, environmentally bad company- to be avoided”

“I still have two outstanding refunds that they have not refunded to my credit card. It’s been over a month. It was extremely difficult to get a hold of someone from this company. I finally manage to chat with a customer service representative, they gave me two reference number for the two refunds, but upon calling AMERICAN EXPRESS, this transaction was actually not even posted by Shein. It was 20 July when they confirmed my refund. Up to now, I still have not received it. I am extremely disappointed to say the least. Their customer service is the worst and you won’t get any support.”

“Disappointing customer service. Shein sent the wrong item and refuse to refund!! They need me to print the label and go to post office to return the item. I told them I do not have a printer at home. Online shopping is all about convenience. I ask them to send me a return package and label, so I can post the item back but they refused!!!”

“I have heard (1st hand accounts, experienced it for myself and read about it on various blogs and YouTube Channels about Shein products) — Shein do not post negative reviews or anything less than a 4 star rating. Don’t let the 5 star ratings fool you. All Shein products are 2 star — at best. Shein, for me, is 25% throw straight into the trash, 25% meh okay (cause easy to shop online and avoid malls) and 50% I need to do some hectic alterations to make their clothing remotely wearable. Their quality is shockingly bad. Delivery usually takes from a month to 6 weeks (I live in Cape Town, South Africa) Clothing frequently looks NOTHING like the Shein web photo. Fabric is almost always of extremely poor quality. Garments are very badly made. It is impossible to return anything or get hold of any kind of customer care. Deliveries arrive usually damaged with items missing and then you just have to accept the fact that you will NEVER EVER get a replacement or your money back”

“I bought 56 caps in a variety of colors for an event. Usually when you buy caps they come in a sleeve so the bill and the front are not bent or damaged. I couldn't believe that they were smashed down and with bills bent in half. HATS LIKE THESE CANNOT BE FOLDED !!!!! These are not usable and cant get a refund. ps. the yellow hat in the back round is one of my hats that was sent to me properly in sleeve box like the last picture.”

“Sent 3 items back, totalling 38.99 Sent in 2 seperate parcels for the refund for the 1 item no problem, then sent 2 other things back in another parcel, totalling 23.02 they only refunded me £7.05, I opened a PayPal cases and shein got back to me on their platform saying they would refund if I closed the case, stupidly i did and they’re now saying I have already been refunded and showing me a picture of my refund of a totally different item, they owe me just over £15 and because they made me close my case on PayPal I’m struggling to get my money back, even though iv shown them proof they haven’t refunded me correctly, iv added a photo which clearly shows they are in the wrong”

“SheIn is very hit and miss with their garments. You can purchase some lovely items but also some terrible ones, SheIn make returns a nightmare, they most certainly don't like returns and refunds so be prepared to give in,worst trick they do is wait until after you have ordered a few garments then inform you after that they are non returnable meaning they are forcing rubbish garments onto customers, this is so wrong SheIn, clean your returns act up.”

“Shein’s clothing is of cheap material. They claim free returns but charge you an absurd amount for return. There is no way to contact customer service. In summary this is a big scam and waste of money to buy anything from them. Disgraceful.”
