The worst delivery company by far. Absolutely appalling customer service and non-existent communication. I was absolutely gutted when I found out my parcel was being delivered via Yodel - it is a birthday present for a loved one. The birthday has now passed due to their complete lack of competence. They claimed they had "missed me" on Thursday, saying they had left a card but they hadn't. They apparently sent it back to the depot (I can't think of a company that doesn't leave it with a neighbour or in a sensible place nowadays). I rang them on Saturday to arrange a redelivery on Monday (today). I have heard nothing all day from them and no sign of a parcel. Absolutely appalling company with no sense of efficiency, urgency or customer care. I wish you had a choice which company your parcels could be delivered with, so I never have to be stuck with Yodel.

There aren't enough words to describe how awful this company is. Having not received a delivery on the expected day, I contacted Yodel to be told my parcel had been delivered to "my safe place". I explained I live on a main road with no front garden and there is no "safe place". After a very long wait they advised me that it had been left on my front step and furthermore as their driver's GPS showed that they had been at my address I had technically received it and there was nothing I could do. I asked to see photographic proof of my parcel on my step and they said their drivers are not required to take photographs because they use GPS. They refuse to help me and say I need to contact the retailer. Sadly the retailer says I need to take it up with Yodel because their GPS shows the driver was at my property and it is up to me to prove I haven't received it. See my review for "Latest in Beauty" who seem to have the same lack of customer service and loyalty as their couriers.

Received cards two days in a row saying 'I missed you', when at home both days, with a very loud doorbell!. Contacting anyone is convoluted - never did find how to make voice contact - and the on-line customer service just repeats info. available. I was then promised delivery next day, with a time slot notification. Nothing arrived, and tracking next day showed it at the depot. Depot closed on Sunday. Promise repeated. This makes five days since first card delivered. The company fails customers on all counts. Avoid!

Advised my parcel had been delivered but it had not. Called the number tomspeak to someone which was just an automated service ( useless) then the Web chat!!! Say no more pointless, annoying and a waste of 1 hour. In the end the foreign call center advised me to go back to the florist I ordered the flowers from!

I have only only received half of my order which is supposed to come in 2 boxes and received box 2 out of 2 I’m missing box number 1, I have contacted yodel through your live chat as you don’t have a direct contact number, to be told that they are unable to contact the delivery driver which is ridiculous as he’s delivering £1000s of pounds of goods, the pram is very expensive and worth over £1000 even paid £20 extra for delivery, I’m due to have my baby any day now and do not have a pram for my soon to arrive baby due to your lack of service

They say they have delivered my parcel to a person but I wasnt in and when I got back it wasnt there, when I checked with my neighbours they didn't have any parcel for me so was either left in full view for someone to steal or the delivery driver stole it himself cause I wasnt in. Been trying to get in contact with someone to talk to but every option on the phone gets you nowhere. They are a joke of a company and probably thieving low lifes too

Absolutely awful company!! Lost 2 parcels, they say they’ve been delivered (on both occasions) but clearly haven’t been. Avoid this company!! Absolutely despicable

I have one order but two parcels. Part of my order arrived yesterday and not the other half. I have had two on line chats with customer service and was told that my parcel would definitely be delivered today and it’s not arrived. The third online chat ended as I was typing to explain. They are just not interested. Customer service are rubbish! Avoid at all cost!

Tortoise speed, so don’t send via this company if you want it to get there sometime soon. Driver said attempted delivery. This was to a Morrisons Daily shop. It’s a lie. I was told if there is a queue he just doesn’t bother and just goes away

Yodel has "lost" 4 of my parcels in the past 3 days. Claim to have delivered to my address which is not true as I work from home. When I managed to get the SatNav details from their customer support (also useless) it shows a different location to my address. Yet Yodel claim it to be the same address as mine (insert facepalm). This is the worst courier company by far and I will from now onwards not purchase any items from sellers who use Yodel as their courier. I'm sure the drivers are stealing these parcels. There's clearly a pattern here.

If I could give zero I would. The live chat guy is actually currently arguing with me! They threw the green card on the floor in the rain with ZERO info. So I had to track the item only for it to say delivered to safe place on the 15th march....I don't have a safe place!!! Checked my whole close and noone saw it but one saw a yodel van. I called the number which tells me the phone number is for a caravan site. Now they are saying that the numbers I've got to match my name. I said we'll it's only me my husband who hasn't ordered anything and my 1 year old daughter here. I've heard stories about yodel but this is despicable!

Never sutomatically assume you will receive an item if Yodel have responsibility for its delivery. They are a hopeless company with little or no desire to locate any item including large parcels.

Absolutely useless. Would not give star if I could. Parcel supposed to be delivered 13 March. Kept getting delivery stops then I was next with delivery no later than 16.36. Didn't arrive. Contacted which there customer service is as bad as the deliveries. Was told that parcel would be delivered following day which it wasn't. Now nobody knows where the parcel is. From being in drivers van it's just vanished into thin air.

Says on yodel app delivery today 14th march didn't arrive now today 15th march web chat said expected 17th march wtf I said it clearly says arriving today since the 14th web chat didn't get back to me waste of time next time im buying online I'm asking what delivery service are you going to use if it's yodel forget it plus they don't even give you a time slot like other currier's do

Absolutely useless drivers and appalling customer service. Says parcel delivered but not to my house. No proof of deliver except for sat nav. The location doesn’t narrow it down as I live in a 23 storey building. The web chat people are like parrots, repeating out of their manual. I don’t understand how this company is even still functioning.

Absolutely appalling customer service. I waited at home all day so I would not miss an important delivery. I received an email at 3.45 on the Saturday the parcel was due to arrive informing me that as I was not at home the driver could not deliver my parcel. I was there all day also telling me a card had been left. No card obviously. Immediately contacted Customer Service who just repeated that as I wasn’t in the driver couldn’t deliver. After 3 times of repeating that I had been in all day the exceptionally rude assistant ended the conversation. This is the second time I have experienced terrible customer service from this company

I’ve just spoken to webchat about whereabouts of my parcel. The guy clearly did not read my comments as he did not answer any of them appropriately. The driver appears to have no satnav as he has driven around in a massive circle and still not found my house. I have been next in delivery line for about three hours now as the driver tours the whole of Shropshire. Webchat person totally useless. Rubbish company. I wonder if I will ever see the plants I bought or if they will die before this happens?

Said they delivered, but did not. Web chat confirmed that delivery destination was different to my address based on GPS, so they’d have to interview the driver. Driver said he delivered to my hallway (he didn’t) and after this they refused to believe I didn’t have my parcel. Photo used by driver is not of my house, I don’t know whose house it is. Driver never left a note saying which house/ neighbour it was with. Still don’t have it. Yodel useless to the point of rude on webchat with their refusal to answer questions and just keep parroting misinformation back.
