“You promised to pick up a parcel within a certain time slot but we weren’t informed of the time. As we were worried about this, we cancelled the collection by phone. The courier finally turned up ten minutes before the deadline but we had already appointed Fedex to pick it up and they turned up within one hour. So far we have a not received a refund from DHL. There is nowhere on their website to enable this. NEVER USING THEM AGAIN.

“DHL has to be the worse delivery company out here. Package was not delivered. I've called DHL 5 times hold time each was at least 20 minutes I've been waiting on package for 3 days. Called to speak with supervisor each time rep has to put in ticket supervisor will call you 90 minutes. No call from supervisor. DHL has not updated tracking information. Negative 0 stars”
“On July 7, I order some items from a business. Two of the items shipped FedEx from one warehouse the other shipped by DHL from another. The zip code was entered incorrectly on both. I received the FedEx package the next day (a day early) even with the wrong zip code. On July 10, I received a notice that there was a hold on the DHL package and I needed to contact DHL for address information. Their customer service is on Arizona time so I could not call for a couple of hours after the notice. I called first thing in the morning and after being on hold for quite a while, I provided the correct address information and was told I would have the delivery the following Monday (I needed for the weekend or I would not have paid extra for expedited delivery). The following Monday, there was still a hold for address information so I called again and after another long on hold time, I was spoke to a rep that verified that the proper address information and said that I would have the package later in the day. Well, it never arrived and the tracking information never changed. The next day, July 14 (a full week after it was shipped) I called again and was on hold for quite a while. The rep I spoke with did not have the updated address information and had to update it again. She took my phone number and said that I would receive a call if there was a problem. No call, no package, No luck. Called again, (4th call to Customer service and learned was again asked for correct address information. Total time spent on call number 4 was over 45 minutes. Don't know if the issue is resolved or not. Complete incompetence.”

“Sending parcel to Spain. For a few days Tracking rejected referance sent. It also rejected and continues the post code in Spain, which i know is correct. When my ref. accepted it says parcel going to Chec Republic.
Another DHL site aknowledges collection, thats all! Contact by email, told there are 2 DHL, independant, therefore they cannot help.
Contact by phone, the wrong DHL of course. Kind lady gave me a phone no. and they acknowledge collection.
Tracking tells me parcel collected, thats all. Tried to phone again, out of order. Not suprised!

“DHL are lying to avoid bad service
We were expecting a part for a gearbox in order to finish a job and deliver the car to the customer yesterday. We paid extra in order to have it delivered on time. DHL did not deliver yesterday. On our call this morning they told us we were shut at 3.30pm yesterday on their attempt to deliver. We were 5 people waiting for it not to mention the CCTV cameras clearly showing that not DHL has been on sight at any time yesterday from 8am until 6.30pm, through our over 7 feet shutter door wide open all day long. Stay away from DHL, they are a disgrace. Not professional anymore and pretty much a lier when facing responsibilities, at least in our cases.

“I'm in my 7th day trying to get a package delivered after the tracking system showed it to be out for delivery. The 2nd day the system had a message that the address had a problem. I tried five times unsuccessfully to update the address even though it was correct. They had delivered one of the 2 packages on the tracking order the day before with the same address. I have emailed and called and talked to customer service 6 times. Each time I was told that they were very busy but would get the ordered dispatched. Today was the 7th day since it was supposedly dispatched and still not delivered. Tomorrow I will attempt to pick it up at there center myself.”
“I have paid and scheduled a pick up on a Monday (booked on a Sat). They did not pick it up and no communication. I rang up to find out why they didn't pick up. First call was put on hold then got cut off. Second call after several minutes of waiting I was told they have rescheduled pick up. It is totally unacceptable when I am paying premium price for a service that doesn't seem to be reliable.”

Bought something online and the seller sent it with DHL. After being given a delivery slot and having received a notification email that my parcel was on route nobody showed up to deliver it. The tracking page said they could't locate my address which is ridiculous since my house is on a main road and the from door had a clearly visible, large number on it.
The following day I received another email notification claiming my parcel would be delivered in the next 15 minutes, to ensure the driver doesn't miss me again I sat in front of my house reading a book while waiting for an hour, nobody showed up.
I was home all day on both days and delivery was never attempted. Horrible "service".”
“Only gave 1 because there is no zero , DHL was supposed to have delivered my talk talk parcel on Fri 26th June and every day since,when I check the tracking all I get is delayed or can not find address ,even though they delivered another parcel on the 22nd June ,I've tried emailing but no one gets back to you ,you can't ring them be side it is an automated system ,I do not recommend this company please avoid ,I have never had any trouble with Hermes delivering to my address ,it's not the first time I have had trouble receiving a parcel from DHL they are an absolute disgrace”
“Item was held at customs and required action from me within 14 days. DHL however only notified me about this after 3 months by which time the penalties cost more than the item itself and they still had the audacity to charge me an admin fee on top of that. Struggling to get any form of response from them just delayed the process even further.”
“Worst company ever!!!! Sent a product back for repair after recently purchasing and it breaking. DHL delivered it to the wrong address and left it in a safe place apparently, funny thing is well not so funny to me really, the address they delivered it to the company were not even open at the time due to covid so basically the delivery driver has just left my parcel outside somewhere and now DHL Will take no responsibility even though I had insurance not that I should need it considering they didn't even post it to the correct address, now I am down over £400 and iv had to replace this as its needed for my job. “Most incompetent delivery service we have ever dealt with. Provided DHL with all the necessary information for our international package to go through customs, they verified that they received the information and then "accidentally" returned it to the shipper in Hong Kong. They tried to stop it when I complained but did not follow through and the package was returned to the shipper. They then said that we would have to pay to have it shipped again and if we wanted a refund on the first shipping charges, we would have to have the shipper file a claim which could take 2 or more weeks. All this time waiting for products and losing customer sales because DHL can't get their act together. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM DHL AS YOU CAN!!!!”
