A day after parcel was scheduled to be delivered used tracking feature to see that my parcel would be delivered that day. Was not delivered. Called DHL and was told that that didnt provide my apartment buzzer # (courier apparently didnt know how to scroll through intercom). Provided my buzzer #. Tracking history showed that package was not delivered because nobody was home. Lie. Was home all day. I advised seller that i would to cancel my purchase. Seller called DHL and was told that they had the wrong name. Had enough. Luckily, seller gave me a full refund.”
“Two deliveries across a three day period were not even attempted. I didn't receive the next stop notifications that the company claim to facilitate. I have severe mobility issues and am awaiting major back surgery. Yet I had to walk half an hour uphill the best that I could to collect the parcels that the driver couldn't be bothered to deliver on both occasions. We do not live on a new estate. Have never been let down by any other courier company, with the exception of DHL.
As a result I will never purchase anything from any retailers who currently use DHL as their courier. I refuse to pay for a service that I haven't received. Sorry Dunhelm, The Range. Change your courier and maybe we will return.
I will be leaving reviews with both retailers and on Google in light of this. Bad show DHL”
“I would recommend to avoid using the services of this company. For almost a week I am trying to retrieve my parcel and every day I get the same excuses( depot is too busy, they don't know what is happening and the lot) and since the 23rd Sept when the parcel was collected from the seller, it is still not delivered to me. It is amazing how little they care . It was next day delivery-supposedly- and 6 days later still not delivered. A joke of a company”

“Had 2 worktops delivered at the beginning of September but one was faulty and I did not accept it. Contacted Homebase to arrange replacement. Delivery was to be 30th September (2 weeks later). I received a text message tonight 29/09 at 5.41 pm to inform me that the date had been changed to 14/10 (another 2 weeks with a half finished kitchen). When I contacted them the excuse given was that they had no vans in my area. I live less than 20 miles from a large depot. Dreadful service. No apology. I will be taking this further.”

“Absolute waste of space, got a delivery from ebay the sender used DHL traxing info stated that it would be here on 17/09/21 its now the 20/09 so i called up first woman’s said its not been scanned since the 16th and she will find out for me and try speed things up. And i would receive a message or email. 6 hours later still no response. Call up again this time am told that every part of my address is right other than the unit on the address and i can not pass data protection. So the sender must of put wrong address. Day 2 covid tests ordered 08.09, picked up by DHL 10.09 from the seller and rescheduled day by day over and over and today is 16.09 and rescheduled again for tomorrow. “We went to a service point in Amsterdam to ship a package. We were sent off because we didn't bring a printed label, and they could not provide that service there. The day after we went back with the printed sticker and the package was sent. With the track & trace number we found out the package was on HOLD, without being notified. After we phoned DHL we learned an invoice was missing (it were 2 t-shirts for our grandkids) and it could not be sent, so we requested the package to be returned. We lost 85€ on shipping costs, and when the package arrived back the box had been opened, and not even closed properly. Terrible experience.”

My parcel was left in a DHL shop, the driver didn't want to pick it up just because I paid extra for insurance (no reason). I talked on the phone with 15 different people from costumer service until I give up. Two weeks took me for a next day delivery parcel and they cancelled the delivery anyway. After cancelation the shop wasn't notify that he can release the parcel so i need to wait for another 48h until they receive that. then i need to ask someone to get there, pick it up and send it with a proper delivery company.
Never been that disappointed about a service in my life, definitely the last time I'm using DHL.”
“We received a notification informing us our parcel had been delivered, and signed for by a DHL delivery driver on August 25th. This was immediately concerning as we hadn’t received any parcel or signed for anything. When opening the notification it was clear from the attached photograph that our parcel had been delivered to the wrong address and left on someone else’s doorstep. Clearly the signature had also been forged by the driver in question.
When phoning customer service, I was told by the customer service agent named Toby, that he could see via GPS that our parcel had indeed been mis delivered as the driver hadn’t been near our address. He informed us that the driver would be told to collect our parcel & redeliver it by the end of the day, and someone would phone us back to confirm this.
The following day as we had received no phone call or parcel, I called customer services again to register an official complaint over the mis delivered parcel & forged signature. I was told no managers were available, but one would call be back within 3 hours, as stated in the “our promise to you” section on the DHL website. 6 hours later, again no call and no parcel. I called customer services back again & again requested to speak with a manager. Again I was told no manager was available & one would call me back the following day.
The following day I again called customer services as i hadn’t received any communication from a manager. I spoke with another customer service advisor, this time asking to escalate the complaint to the executive team. I was told that this wasn’t possible as a manager would have to refer the complaint to the executive team, and I was again told a manager would call me back within 3 hours. Again, this didn’t happen.
Later that day I tried emailing the complaint to customer services as it was clear that DHL had no intention of returning my calls, retrieving my parcel, or challenging the driver who has forged my signature. I received a reply from a manager named Craig Nicol apologising for the inconvenience caused, and promised to speak to the driver involved & provide an update “later that day”.
The email from Craig was received on August 27th. It’s currently 5th September, 9 days later, and I have had no further communication from DHL. I have had no callback from any manager, no explanation as to where our parcel is, no driver has collected it from the address it was mis delivered to, nobody has followed up on my complaint & to the best of my knowledge, the complaint, has just simply been ignored.
This has genuinely been the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I can see by the reviews they on Trustpilot that this seems to be fairly normal practice for DHL. I’ll never order another thing from a company who use DHL as a courier.

I sent a gift to my family, and it has been months that my parcel didn’t even leave Sydney yet, it is lost. DHL never even tried to deliver but they lost it straight away! Is that because people work for you steal our stuff or you just don’t know how to deliver delivery service? Shame on you.”
