Repeated overcharging. Made to feel like a criminal when it is spotted and refund requested. Shouted at and bullied in store by managers standing one foot away from you. ALDI policy is NO APOLOGY. Aldi will try to get away with it as much as they can with impunity. Contents of email ignored and repeatedly just answered with machine code. Overcharging appears to be company policy.

After more than 20 minutes in line at a till we was offered a simple "sorry for the wait" by our new server who was less than tolerable as a server. She ID'd me for my alcoholic drinks which was fair enough, she then asked my 14 year old daughter for ID for the paracetamol I purchased... she had just come from school and was still in uniform... I thought it was obvious after her being my daughter and showing my ID I am the one paying, but she refused to sell me the paracetamol (ironically she still sold me.the ciders...).. apparently everyone present has to have ID no matter their age... this was a joke, she is a kid! she cant even have any ID outside her school ID at her age! She insisted even a baby needs ID if present in my "group" (Aldi's definition of a family). So note, never go to aldi with a child if you plan to get some simple paracetamol... though your good for vodka or cider. Went down the road to tesco and laughed to the checkout clerk how pathetic it was, she found it ridiculous and even gave us a voucher for our next visit... Never going back to aldi again. Tesco got a new customer I guess. Funny they also failed all government guidelines regarding masks and distancing... what a joke.

Terrible company. Please avoid their online purchase. I bought a television 3 weeks ago, till now no television. I requested for a refund, they said I should wait for another 14 days to get my money back. Terrible customer service. Be warned, avoid this company.

I suppose the thing to do is read reviews of whatever store you intend to visit. That way nobody would end up going to this horrible company and staff would not feel compelled to write fake good reviews. I find it puzzling how this company have managed to retain a score of 46% all this time with so many negative reviews.

Awful company take faulty goods back but keep your money. They are breaking all regulations regards refunds but couldn't care less. I have now handed the matter over to consumer advice.

Crook Aldi is staffed by children and ran by a manager who doesn't want to tell his mates off. No social distancing is maintained by staff. They remove masks and cough constantly over the products they are unpacking. They are right behind you when you turn around and if you say anything you are met with rudeness. It's the females that are the worst, total attitude, black roots and fake eyelashes so caked in gunk that they look stoned. Then there's the tills, 1 and 2 open so your back to back and the cashier forces past you whilst your in the tiny till isle with your trolley, again you get attitude if you chastise them for it. The complaints are fed back to the store manager who does nothing and then the area manager who does even less. I've seen him speed into the car park and swerve into the space like he's in the wacky races and then leaps out of his car like he's 007. The store is a let down to Crook, none the wonder people say several staff are off with Coronavirus. I've started shopping elsewhere.

WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER! I just want to return the faulty wardrobe . Took 3 day off work in total to wait in for a collection but your XDP carrier didn't turn up in 3 occasions, your customer service is not helpful either, just want to check if this is how a business like yours should run? Cheap prices at Aldi for sure, but sadly the quality is not there. Neither is social distancing. Strange company really. As nearly all the reviews on here are negative they cannot all be wrong. What is stranger is that this company obviously take no notice whatsoever of bad reviews and take steps to rectify them.

What a nasty, horrid and disreputable company this is, Isn't it. All we can hope for is that one day they may go out of business here and those nasty rude staff members, including the managers, find themselves jobless. This company are only like this over here and not in their home country, where such behaviour would not be tolerated by the customers. I no longer shop there because of this. complaining to their head office is a toatl waste of time. If staff are not wearing masks then report them. STAY AWAY!!

Aldi Henbury Bristol. No staff wearing masks apart from dangling around their necks if at all. When mentioned to girl on checkout all she said was yes she was wearing mask just that is was under her face. She was rude with big attitude. I will not shop at Aldi now until Covid is over.

Store number 46 in Brooksville on Cortez boulevard Hernando County Florida. They sell bad meat and they acknowledge it to my face. Apparently it happens often. Make sure to save your receipts! They also DO NOT stand behind there refund policy.

Aldi - New Basford, Nottingham. If you want to be screamed at and humiliated by the staff who have no consideration for social distancing then this is the place for you. Having shopped there since it opened the staff have up to now been wonderful. Today, the checkout girl had it in for me from the moment I put down my first item. She told me to take it down as she didn’t want it on her conveyor belt. Which I did. Having finished placing the rest of the items down the checkout girl then told the customer behind who only had a couple of items me to squeeze past me as she wanted to serve her first. With no social distancing the customer did as she was told. Then it was my turn. I obviously wasn’t placing my items back into the trolley at a fast enough pace to please her so she then started pushing them in. At that point I quietly spoke to her asking her not to push them in. Well, at that point all hell broke loose! She started screaming and shouting at me that I was being rude. I explained to her quietly that this was embarrassing and I might just need to walk away to avoid the onslaught of verbal abuse. To which she replied that it was my choice, it didn’t bother her as she would get somebody else to put the shopping away. I carried on loading my trolley and paid . When I took my receipt off her she then started screaming and shouting again that I was being rude . All this was happening in front of other customers who just stood there shocked by her behaviour. Finally, I said please could I speak to the manager - to which she shouted, “I AM THE MANAGER!” When we, the customers, speak to people we are rightfully asked to be respectful and polite. Surely the same should be asked of the staff at Aldi.

I am totally dumbfounded by all these poor ratings. Why on earth do people go there in the first place. It's not as if you are getting quality or good treatment by staff. You are certainly not being in a safe environment right now with Covid and the total lack of social distancing in their stores. Add this to the selfish people who refuse to cooperate with any request to keep safe and you have a recipe for disaster. Then of course those who think if they have a mask on they are safe. This inspite of all the publicity to the contrary. STAY AWAY from this company.

Abysmal Customer Services. After 2 no shows from their allocated courier I cancelled and asked for a refund. Now 65 days later and after many phone calls still fighting for refund. They and their equally terrible couriers will try at all cost not to give you a refund. Lies, Lies and still more lies. They will give any excuse to stop you speaking to a manager or supervisor. Be aware DO NOT use online shopping if you want it to be hassle free. Now in the hands of my bank to get a refund. If not forthcoming i will seek legal redress. Worst online customer services and couriers in the world. I wont shop there again. Why cant i give a minus rating?

I am confused about the previous review. How on earth did you manage to give it three stars after your complaints, especially the one about social distancing? If it is as bad as you say, and I do not doubt it at all, then it should be reported to the appropriate authorities. They would be in serious trouble. If anyone values their health they should stay away from Aldi and all the non social distancing customers.
