I walked into àldi cardinals today at about 5.30pm when an assistant manager told an eighty + 4 ft lady to stànd on a basket trolley to reach a 6ft high stack of baskets .Sean

Tinned cat food...gangrene corners😔 Cats, even hedgehogs are leaving it.

Try Iceland's or B&M's 4ply. It works out much cheaper.

Your best toilet paper has been discontinued. Softest 2ply unembossed white toilet tissue was the best available anywhere. The embossed versions are no match and cause soreness.

Aldi had their highest profits this Christmas. Sadly, this was achieved through the sale of alcohol. Not good at all, so it means that in fact their sale of food items was actually down. The trend continues then with people realising that their cheap food items simply do not mean quality.

What's happened to your baked beans? Same tin but definitely not the same beans and sauce. The beans are bullet like and the tomato sauce is like water.

Very good idea too. Lots of others on here with same complaint. Christmas time too. So many bad reviews on here it makes you wonder how their overall score is 51%.

Bought a large chicken on the 31st dec with a use by date of 5th Jan 2020, I was today the 2nd Jan going to have it for our tea only to open the wrapper to a not very nice smell. I have decided not to eat it as I dont want to take the chance of getting food poisoning I have 2 small grandchildren staying with me. I will not be buying any other fresh meat from aldi in the future.

I Bought a beef roasting joint from your Redruth store on Monday 30th At approximately 19:45 This was to be used for our New Year’s Day dinner. When I went to unpack it the smell was disgusting it had completely gone off!! The use by date wasn’t until the 6th Jan. NOT very good!!!

Well for the very first time I am defending Aldi. I doubt their times stated 8am-8pm on a Sunday. No supermarkets will be open until 10am or 11am on a Sunday nation wide. It has been this way for many many years. I have just checked that store opening times and it CLEARLY states 10am-4pm SUNDAYS!!Also, there really is no need to swear on here.

First of all the bloody aldi should update their opening time and closing time online.. as a new customer I searched for the opening time on a Sunday and it said 8-8pm.. and when I went there the employees did not even want to communicate . It's disgusting.. someone who got common sense should be on top..if they cannot keep an eye on these things how can they ensure the quality of its food. God help it's customers . It happened in aldi in ponteland road Newcastle

Wouldn't you have thought that at least Aldi would have tried at Christmas time, but no. Lots of excuses of course and reasons why, even a sort of apology, but it is indicative of this nasty company to issue words of little meaning. What am I writing about? The fiasco and utter disgrace of their so called oven roast turkeys in those nasty little bags which are supposed to be oven proof. What happened? Many of these bags melted and ruined the birds within. Not only that but some people bought them and the contents were off. This latter part could be attributed to the rough handling of said packaged birds due to staff pressure to do ever more in their allotted hours. Surprise? Not really.

That's strange. With so many negative things I do not understand how it got five stars.

Shop s too far away so made my purchase online for first time from Aldi (I do shop online from many other stores) Ordered Kirkton House metal bathroom caddy, Lacura primer and eyeshadow palette and Palmer's cocoa butter lotion on 16th Dec. Email received 18th said it was in warehouse waiting for collection by Hermes. 24th Dec still waiting for Hermes to collect it. Rang Aldi who refunded right away and promised delivery on 27th if I wanted to re-order. I did re-order and box arrived mid afternoon of 27th. Seal on box 2/3 slit open? but contents intact and I am very pleased with the quality and prices. Left feedback re Hermes on Trustpilot as they forged my signature (not the first time either) when no signature was needed as I had designated safe place. Hermes chat is non-existant as it's a bot which gives out limited answers. My usual online clothes and homeware shopping is delivered by Yodel 👍who are 5⭐ in my area of S.E.Surrey.

I came across this further down and thought I would cut and paste it here. It is so very true!!"Well done aldi for showing this country can survive on it's own? That remark could not be more wrong if some staff member really tried harder. Aldi is a GERMAN company for goodness sake!! Doesn't the following remark simply add fuel to the widely held view that this company are not at all friendly. I QUOTE...."For all the snobs who want to go in, but won't, carry on throwing your money away!!!!!!" Snobs? Because we like to shop elsewhere? I would like to see FAKE reviews removed from this site as they are not only wrong but they actually give Aldi an even worse name than they already have. There is much more I could say but but I do not like to be nasty".

Bought a nail gun from the Burpham store as a Christmas gift for my father.... It was a bit too tempting so decided to keep it. When I opened it up it was clear that it was used, Bits were missing, packing tape holding things together etc I took it back but they didn't have a replacement so they told me to speak to Head office. Head office told me as there are no nail guns in a 25 mile radius I could have a refund (would have preferred a new one). I when back and they offered me £9.99 when the purchase price was I believe £79.99. Unbelievable!!!!! I am partly to blame as cant find the receipt but selling second hand items that are possibly faulty or dangerous as new surely should be a prosecute-able offence....shame on you Aldi!

Came across this on a site regarding Aldi so thought I would post here. There was much more but this is enough and says it all really. "Because ALDI is micromanaged to hell and back. They time their associates on everything, including the bathroom use. The average lunch break is 15–20 minutes while the day can last as long as 15 hours. They require one worker to do the job of 5 people. You will unload pallets and sprint back to help people at the register AT THE SAME TIME. ALDI is shameless. Lower level ALDI employees are extremely expendable and the company isn’t afraid to remind them that it isn’t personal, but just business. They allow customer and management mistreatment at the same time".

Nothing there which is surprising. Like their stores really. Useless. HERMES and YODEL should always be well steered clear of at any time of the year. As for expecting a reply you would be more likely to have their checkouts slow down than a reply. I guess you will stop shopping with them anymore?
