Purchased the Motorized Retractable RV Awning - 20 x 8 Feet - Brown Striped. Package arrived on time. Awning looks great but the installation was brutal! Directions are in broken English - difficult to interpret. They don't tell you exactly how high on the travel trailer to install the main bracket arms so I had to guess and caulk holes due to errors. To install the fabric to the cylinder you need 3 people and hope you don't tear the fabric when getting the fabric in the slot with your own tool. For the cost of this thing you'd think they would provide such tool. The main bracket arms are held with bolts and washers the size of a dime - not too safe as they cloud pull right out of the walls with any kind of wind or water weight pressure so I fabricated metal plates to the inside the travel trailer walls to provide for holding strength.

Ordered an outdoor 8 person barrel sauna online May 19. Got an email it was back ordered May 27 and there was a 3 month wait. I immediately replied to cancel order as that was an option provided. No reply. They don’t answer phones nor return calls. File a dispute with bank and they dragged it on providing FAKE tracking id’s. But wait, didn’t you say it was out of stock - now magically you ‘shipped’ it. AVOID AVOID AVOID! Fake scam company that doesn’t operate legally, lawsuit waiting to happen, I may be the first to start a class action. Stay away!!!!! Fraud Company!!!!!!!!

Your reply: Hello. Thank you for sharing your photos. I wish I was responsible for FedEx and had control over the way they handle our packages. It is your responsibility to package your shipments properly. A wooden support board should have been taped to the length of the aluminum nose piece. The original shipment was damaged due to poor packaging. I also wish shipping delays weren't a part of our everyday life due to COVID-19. You told me 3 days - FedEx ground from Washington takes longer than 3 days. You did not expedite the shipment. What I can do, and what I will continue to do is stand behind our products and offer you another replacement. Kind of hard top up an awning without all the parts - So YES send me another nose piece. I saw several email conversations between you and my customer service team. Simply reply to one of those if you decide you'd like to try again. It may take as much as 3-5 days for us to get to the email but we will make this right.

I ordered a rv awning for my camper. It took 7 days to get it ( shipped from Washington state to New York State) understandable!!! When I rec’v it it was the wrong item. Took three days and four different people in customer service to get a return shipping label!! Meantime, they shipped a replacement— 7 days latter I rec’v ANOTHER wrong item !!! And the second of two packages in the shipment——. I never did rec’v it . No idea what happened to it !!! Nor do they !! Second wrong shipment went back—- I ll take a full refund and do my business elsewhere !!!

Well they shipped me a new front bar because the original one got damaged in shipping. The replacement front bar was damaged worse than the original one. Told me it would be 3 business days for this replacement - took a week. Sent picture of the new damage front bar - now waiting for a reply. Seems like they really don't have much of a customer service department.

Ordered an awning on June 26th 2020. Said it would take 3 to 5 days. Well it,s now July 17th 2020.and have received nothing! They sent an email on July 7th saying they had trouble processing payment. They actually took more than the price said when we ordered. Gave a number to call them. Waste of time can not get to talk to anyone. Emailed them they replied automated saying some one would reach out to us. Nothing! Now July 16th someone left us a message to call them back. Did this to no luck. No it says customer centre closed till August. Stay away from this company. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Stop using Covid as an excuse.

Up date on previous review: after posting my negative review WOW got an email right away. I was told that the RV awnings would be about another 2 weeks, so why didn’t I know that when I placed my order. So, I emailed back to cancel the order and requested a FULL refund. According to their advertisement the order can be cancelled before its shipped, which I fall into this category. I’m sure based on other reviews this will be a nightmare. Will see!

ALEKO awning arrived boxes damaged. Hardware missing! Paid installer two day and it is not working because the frame is bent. Product looks like returned item and just shipped out to me! Tech support has not answered their phones two day and I am left with damaged product! Helpppp!

Terrible experience with Aleko. Purchased my awning in June. While instructions weren't very clear, I managed. Within two weeks I noticed one side faded really bad. I took pictures and sent in to Aleko (first I tried calling three times and disconnected three times after long wait each time). It has been two weeks now and they replied twice in that time giving me a complete runatound. At no point have they honored their product warranty. They seem to just put you off. I wish I never bought it!!!!!

Once it is paid for you can not get questions answered, can not read a poorly printed manual and navigating the site for answers is a headache.

Aleko sent me the incorrect order, argued with me in regards to my order.... I even sent pictures! Customer service is garbage! Had to file a BBB claim to get a response from them.... and a month later here I am still waiting on the original order I paid for

They sent me an email asking if I wanted a refund because apparently the item I ordered was not in stock (although it said it was when I purchased it) and im unable to reply to their email. My email response keeps bouncing back and not being delivered. I WANT A FULL REFUND AND CANCELLATION. Still not able to reach anyone in the phone, the call drops after 4-5 minutes on hold and they don’t return their voicemails.

I located your order for a hot tub placed Monday morning and see that we contacted you within 7 hours to advise that item was no longer available. I apologize for the inconvenience. I'm not sure why your emails to us are bouncing back. We receive over 13,000 emails a week. If you've read any of the other reviews on our site, you'll see that we have experienced a tremendous growth in a very short period of time, culminated by having to cut our call center staff in half because of COVID-19 restrictions. When you add in the fact that all eCommerce companies are having a difficult time getting inventory delivered, we have the perfect storm. I know that seems like a series of excuses to you but it is our reality. We are doing our absolute best to get to every call, every voicemail and every email we have. It is taking us an average of 48 hours right now. In the meantime, please know how sorry we are that the item you want won't be available until September. We wish we had control of that.
I ordered an Aleko Square Inflatable Hot Tub with Cover 6 6 person 250 Gallon B/W HTISQ6BKWH-AP on May 9th. On May 14th I receive a message stating that the product I bought was out of stock. That it would be toward the middle of June. When I call to get an update,I was told it would be another 2 weeks. I called a few weeks later and am being told 2 more weeks. I am older with a frozen should, arthritis. I ordered this to help me move around a little better. I paid over $560 for this and I still dont have any idea of when i may receive mine. I don't want to cancel my order, but feel that something has got to give. Can someone PLEASE tell me the truth and tell me when/or if I can expect to receive SOMETHING?

My gate is 22 ft so I oreder a spare chain at a premium price. When I tried to install I noticed that the type of chain they supplied as extension is not the same type. Literally dozen calls and emails to their customer service and no response yet. Stay away!

I contacted by their preferred email about a defective motor but have not received a response. Multiple calls have been unanswered. So now I am stuck with an awning that does not work on my RV.

Ordered a 16' x 10' motorized awning. Packing leaves a bit to desire. Have a damaged Front section - sent photos on June 30th. Got a reply on July 7th asking me if I needed anything else. Told them not at this time. Still waiting on someone to tell me when the replacement Front section will be shipped. Instruction are pretty lousy as are most Chinese instructions. Quality - I highly advise you assemble everything on a couple of tables. There are holes that have to opened up so bolts will clear, need to align arms properly while on the tables. Will be interesting once it is all together. Waiting on part.

I ordered a 96x96 replacement awning on June 29th and have yet to receive it even though I paid extra for fedex priority shipping. I have tried calling several times, left messages with no response. I also tried to send an email but my mail bounced back undeliverable. They still charged my credit card for $106.78

Purchased the ALEKO Half Cassette Retractable 10'x20' online with its retailers. It came with broken boxes (the packaging was so poor that I believe it was one of returned item from others), missing the center roller. Requested a support to the retailer, never responded. Willing to pay so I contacted the ALEKO company for part purchase. So far 1-2 weeks, no response either. This makes me doubt of Customer services and capability to support customers when they have issues after sale. I have to think twice for this brand if I need another awning in the future.
