Bought a garmin fenix 6 watch Bought a garmin fenix 6 watch. Give a delivery time slot to which i stayed in for, then for them to say it’s been delivered. No proof/evidence of delivery, which I know didn’t take place due to me staying in for it. Spoke to customer services who state they need to wait 24hr to investigate then will call me back. Waited 24hrs no call back, phoned again only to be advised they need another day and if they are happy I haven’t received It I can claim a refund. The product as now gone up in price to which they won’t honour and send another one out. I even took insurance out which they can’t refund???????

"Delivered today. Parcel was handed to resident." No. it wasn't. It was left outside the door. The driver couldn't be bothered to ring the bell. Luckily I found it before someone else.

I bought an item on Amazon at what looked like a good price. They then delivered the wrong product. Whether this was deliberate or not I don't know, but it certainly wasn't my fault. In order to help Amazon rectify their error I returned the item using the return process on the website but it quickly became apparent that it wasn't going to be as straightforward as it should be. Against my wishes, I had to install the Amazon app to contact Amazon Support to stress that I still wanted the item, not a refund. (I don't know how I could have contacted them if I didn't have a smartphone but the website said I needed to install the app.) Since I had placed my order the the price of the item I had ordered had gone up (a lot) so I wasn't going to place a fresh order for the item, all I wanted was the the exact item I ordered at the original price that I paid. During the first, and numerous successive communications with them, Amazon's various passive aggressive Customer Services staff were rude and/or failed to understand the situation and lied to me on more than one occasion. It turns out that this is standard procedure at Amazon. Ignore their slogans and deluded visions, Amazon is a company with little regard for the law or consumer rights. They just do whatever suits them. They are technically in breach of a contract of sale to me by demanding more money in order to fulfil an order that has already been accepted. They did this by using a sneaky programming trick which caused my original order to be cancelled as soon as I started the process to return the incorrect product they had sent. I know now that I should not have returned the product they sent me until I had received the actual product I had ordered. Now it looks like my only recourse is legal action. Don't get me wrong, I have bought other items from Amazon Amazon and things have generally been ok but this incident involving a high value item has highlighted the fact that Amazon is driven purely by profit. They don't give a rat's rear about customers, or anyone else. I have spent many hours trying to explain that I am a victim of Amazon's unethical and illegal policy to their Customer Services staff without success. They just keep pretending that it is impossible for Amazon to fulfil my order, even though they still have at least eight units in stock (and I only ordered one). Now it looks like I will have to take legal action to get fair treatment. Why just 1 star? Amazon would have got a 4 or 5 star rating from me for positive experiences in the past but now I know how they are happy to make their customers suffer when THEY fail 1 star is actually generous. A smaller would probably be forced to be closed down for treating customers with such contempt. Amazon customer support is basically non-existent. It seems real but it is fake. I have given up trying to speak directly to them now. I get a more useful and considered response when talking to a dog, it is certainly less stressful. In a blatantly illegal breach of a perfectly valid contract of sale Amazon refused to send me the item I ordered unless I pay an additional sum of money. I never got the item I ordered from them.

Again a delivery from Amazon, an expensive watch, left outside by the bins. Why not ring the doorbell as have been in waiting. I had somethings delivered recently which were soaked with the rain.

Lately Amazon falling so badly!!! Deliveries are beyond the joke! Items although not arriving at all or you wait up to 22:00 just to learn at 22:15 that the item might be delivered next day and if not they will give you money back- that’s what is for a premium membership Not mentioning that originally the item meant to arrive the day before!!! Too many times happened, going to quit as the quality doesn’t exists anymore

I normally get free delivery to Amazon locker, recently they cancelled my locker delivery so I reordered but for some reason this time I had no choice but pay 5.99 for same day delivery to Amazon locker where I always take free delivery, account said delivery by 2200hrs, however at 1400hrs items had not even been dispatched let alone out for delivery so like other recent reviews elsewhere stating this same practice, knowing I've been forced to pay same day delivery its not going to be delivered in that time frame, I therefore cancelled it, then cancelled my further order which stated delivery in 2 weeks? Clearly something weird is occurring at Amazon UK cause they've not been this incompetent before but this is currently happening to others also. Now awaiting over £300 total refund. No longer going to use Amazon UK, glad I never got stitched up for Prime but they've lost a big continuous paying customer.

I ordered a paperback novel which is over £9 00, the book arrived in a damaged cardboard envelope, the front cover and back cover had black marks also scratches on the back cover, I am finding it difficult to contact customer services as my laptop is not compatible with their robotic message service. It is very simple to purchase items from Amazon however if you have a problem it is almost impossible to solve. Any future purchases will be with companies that have CUSTOMER CARE, Amazon take note!

Never buy things from any DEALS or PROMOTIONS. You will never receive them. Amazon UK does not have a good inventory management system. They let thousands of people place the order when they only have less than 100 items. And the order gets stuck in status "we'll email you when available for dispatch". When you follow up for your items they will tell you to cancel your order and reorder. If you deny to do so you will basically end up wasting your time and energy because no matter how many times you call, you will get the same answer.

I returned a phone back to Amazon UK. I had proof of posting. Amazon UK claimed they received the box and accessories but no phone. The Post Office weighed the return at 585grams. I have the proof of return. An empty box as Amazon claims they received weighs about 150 grams. I am a trustworthy, honest professional man yet Amazon UK won't enter any dialogue with me except to say return the phone. I did return the phone . Something seriously has happened at the returns end at Amazon UK but they won't investigate nor of course refund my money. I am thoroughly upset that this company that I've been loyal towards for many years treated my like a common thief. I've never experienced such negative Customer Service from a major company then I have with Amazon UK.

A warning to all U.K. consumers. Do not purchase products from Amazon.co.uk unless you are certain that you purchase from “real” British businesses. The “invasion” of U.K’s retail industry began since 2012, as of 2021 there are more than 60,000 foreign businesses operating and selling to the British public. The products they offer on Amazon fundamentally breach British safety standards, all these sellers operate under the “umbrella” of Amazon.co.uk and eBay These foreign sellers pay Amazon.co.uk and eBay up to or more than 17% of their sales, this is an enormous income for Amazon.co.uk and eBay, actually this is the main Amazon income and is the seller fees who made Amazon and Jeff Bezos the richest man.... Amazon does not care of your safety, so please care for your self, purchase from real British businesses, or learn the hard way.
