Bought Appliance Bundle from BB. Technicians to install Dishwasher broke valve under sink and totally flooded 1/2 of my house with water running even through my front door. Over a week later & several run around phone calls before BB finally sent someone to install the dishwasher. BB did not have the common courtesy of rewarding me for multiple gallons of water from the broken valve or for 10 loads of Laundry to do towels & sheets that technicians used to help stop water from flooding my wood floors, Or the work involved in rearranging my furniture after the cleanup. I have a Back problem and had to deal with all of this for nothing. Customer Relations = 0.

I had to give 1 star to write this review. I made a purchase with a Best Buy credit card. I went in and paid the card off at my local Best Buy in Sherman, Texas. I am getting late fees and bills with late fees on late fees. I went once again to my local store in Sherman, Texas, and talked to the manager that was on duty at 5 pm on July 19, 2022. I was told by him that he could not help me. It was Citibank and I would have to deal with Citibank. His only advise was that it would ruin my credit. It was a Best Buy card that I applied for at my local Best Buy in Sherman, Texas. They ran the application. I put my Best Buy purchase on the card they gave me at the register. I came back in a few months later and paid the bill off in cash at the customer service area of my local Best Buy in Sherman, Texas. The bill was paid in full. I even had to complete 2 transactions at the customer service representatives request. They said it was $0.00. Then I get hit with a late fee. Then a late fee on the late fee eventhough a customer representative at the Best Buy store in Sherman, Texas took my cash and said it was paid off. Below poor customer service and deceptive practice for their own representative to take a pay off and then the customer gets harassed for late fees and all the manager has to say is that Citibank will ruin my credit.

BestBuy has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Do not purchase any product with an option to add the extended warranty, it is a money scam. Better yet never buy anything from BestBuy, purchase from any other business. Take a look at their record with the Better Business Bureau.

We needed to scrap two old laptops, but wanted to erase the hard drive, yet not knowing how. Made an appointment with the Geek Squad at Best Buy on Golf Rd in Schaumburg, IL, and we’re greeted by Brandon. (Maybe 7/12/22 ?) He was super helpful, explained what we/he needed to do, and we were out of there in no time. Probably what I appreciated the most was Brandon didn’t give exhausted looks when I told him what I did and didn’t understand… which is not always the case. To be greeted with a smile these days is a rarity, yet Brandon was on point with courteous service.

I purchased a scratch and dent refrigerator for my new home. My oldest son was home to receive the delivery on a Monday; however, he is only 16 years old so they would not leave the product with a minor. I completely understand this and I'm sure I overlooked this requirement in the fine print (this is my fault). I reschedule the delivery for a week later (the following Monday) and Best Buy is a no-call no-show. I have to call them 8 times before I'm able to get through because their automated system continues to hang up on me, then when I get through to a person, she hung up on me (probably an accident) as I was providing her with my phone number to look up my account. Eventually I'm told, "we sold your fridge my mistake, but we're giving you a new one in the box". I said that's great, but I need a fridge more then I need the free upgrade. I told them I could go to a local store and pick-up a fridge for the cost of the new fridge they are providing me with rather then wait a week without a refrigerator. The cost of eating out during the 8 days it will take until delivery will cost much more then difference between the in the box fridge and the scratch and dent fridge. The small dent on the side was hidden by the cabinet anyway. I'm frustrated that they're not willing to workout a plan to get a fridge to me any sooner (even a lesser fridge then the new in the box one they are promising me). Basically they're asking me to trust that they won't have another mistake on their end and do the same thing again. They had no problem taking my money and selling the fridge I bought. What else could go wrong, right (sarcasm)? I won't shop here again. I'll go to Brandsmart and/or Home Depot for my appliances and media going forward.

Had a good in store experience buying a refrigerator last Monday was set for delivery today Friday. I opted for 7am to 1pm delivery time window. There instructions stated I would get a 30 minute call before coming to me. Got up early this morning picked up dry ice and regular ice to empty my old refrigerator which I paid them to take when I get my new one. Emptied the refrigerator completely packed in coolers I figured when they give me the 30 minute call I’ll empty the freezer. I waited till 12:30 before I inquired about my delivery I emailed first got no response so I called the number was informed it would be a 19min. wait opted to let them call me back. Eventually a gentleman whose English was very hard to understand Raphael called me put me on hold to check. He tells me it has to be rescheduled for next Thursday never does he tell me why it’s not coming today or more importantly apologize for not notifying me. He can care less he’s in Florida I’m in Southern California I would never had know if I hadn’t called them unacceptable. I bought the Refrigerator that was on display not one that had to come from there warehouse. Ironically the store is 5 miles from my home. I was told after I complained to Raphael his supervisor Carlos will call me to discuss never did. Needless to say not a happy Best Buy customer.

If you are looking for a washer, dryer, or kitchen appliances avoid best buy. I'm leaving this review so people don't make the same mistake I did. I decided to take advantage of a good deal on a dryer online. I made the purchase on June 26 or 28. According to best buy delivery would take place on July 2 I picked a time that would work for both my husband and I. July 1 rolls around they changed the time window without even consulting me I receive a message. Not that big of a deal because I will be home but my husband won't be so I'll just have him help me before his shift. Then July 2 comes they call me hours before saying something about the truck and tech (nothing is really clear I can't hardly understand the agent who is calling me) I'm obviously not thrilled the agent says sorry for the delay we will get it done July 6 ( okay fine I think I should add I've already been without a working dryer since June 26or 28) July 5th I look at the email to make sure I follow all steps for delivery for July 6 I noticed then that it says delivery is on July 6 but installation is July 7 I contacted them because I can't be there necessarily for both days plus my husband works third shift so it would probably disrupt him. I tell the agent on live chat please just move the delivery and installation on one day July 7 they tell me it's resolved I'm irritated slightly but happy it's resolved even have confirmation messages it's done. I wake up on July 6 to a message letting me know my delivery will be coming that very day. I'm frustrated I contact a live agent on chat I have to first fix the delivery address because even though it clearly was correct on my email for the order geek squad doesn't have my correct full address on the appointment links. Then I tell the agent yet again I need delivery and installation on July 7 because I can't have it spread out for two days ( at this point I also don't actually trust that they'd show up for installation) she sends me confirmation that it's resolved I take a screen shot and I received messages stating that. About an hour or even 30 mins later lol I get a message saying that I changed my appointment for delivery and installation to July 22 🙄. Best buy obviously changed everything yet again without consulting me at all. I immediately call best buy the agent gives me dumb rhetoric like I can tell your frustrated so on lol then says let me explain the tech can't come and they can't install it the 7th. To which I replied obviously that's a ridiculous explanation because it was scheduled for installation 7th for a long time there is no reason and couldn't be delivered and installed on the 7th. It had been scheduled to be delivered 6th and installed 7th so that's illogical. I also said things don't change that much in a small time span and I'm not waiting until July 22 🙄 ( to be honest I think they would have pulled the same junk on July 22 if I had). I'm currently waiting for a refund. The agent was also giving me rhetoric and almost felt like he was implying I wouldn't get a refund because the item had never been delivered. Which at that point I did get mad. I cancelled the order and if I have to I will talk to my credit card company if I don't see a full refund. Please save your time. I understand work shortages, but home Depot is more professional and does a better job than these clowns. It's obvious best buy doesn't value customers. I also have my suspicions that the reason my dryer wasn't delivered was partially because it was the weekend of July 4. This isn't how to treat customers.

I’ll try to make it simple and easy, I ordered an item they said they had in stock the next day they tell me that my order is canceled and it’s out of stock. OK ,,,, so I’ll look it up another item and I order that,,,, two hours later they tell me that order is canceled , OK understandable. Finally order a third item and again three hours later that item is canceled because it’s out of stock. So basically why are the items on their website saying available ?????? completely horrible !!!!

PHYSICAL THREATS FROM INSTALLER!! They breakdown and put you to the back of the list. Was scheduled to have delivered in 3 days. Driver calls and said he broke down. He, Zachary, gets mad because I am trying to understand what I’m supposed to do and who I’m supposed to call. Zachary then says, we’ll see when I get there! I said what do you mean? Zack said, you have an attitude we’ll see when I get there. I asked are you threatening me? Zacks response was, we’ll see when I get there. When I called about they were nice but now I have to wait 10 more days for my washer and dryer. Do not order anything from this store! They don’t care and have people working here that will clearly come and attack you while delivering. Don’t trust.

I ordered an ‘in stock’ fridge in March, with a delivery date two weeks later in March. I called the verify prior to purchase the estimated delivery date, because we needed a new fridge rather quickly. The day of scheduled delivery, after no one showed up in the time frame, I called Best Buy, to which they told me the appliance was out of stock and would not be coming today. I was very annoyed as I sat around off work waiting, when they could and should have reached out to let me know ahead of time. Anyway, second delivery gets scheduled, for July, and I’m told a manager will call me back to send us a gift card for the inconvenience. Well, July rolls around, and once again, I’m left waiting for a delivery that never comes. I called again and explained this happened before, and the customer service rep won’t let me speak with a managing supervisor. I was on hold over an hour. I specifically ordered this appliance because it said in stock, and I verified it was in stock prior to ordering. Not only have we been months without this rather expensive appliance coming in, but it’s impossible to get answers from calling. I’m extremely disappointed in Best Buy, and hopefully this review saves you a ton of wasted time and annoyance.

Order a set of klips speakers called customer service 3 different times during a month and said there on their way they never showed up the last call I asked if they lied to me about getting them they said yes Best Buy sucks.

"Joker" company, they are selling the AIR instead of the product. I bought home appliances and they give me a delivery time. I planned everything accordingly, then "Joker" company best buy called me and gave me one month later delivery time, I am really disappointed and mistreated. I went to the store and talk to the customer service, but they did not solve my problem. Now I do not know what I am gonna do, with my family and two children...Solve this problem ASAP

HONESTLY PLEASE I BEG YOU to try and speak to store personnel in West Lebanon NH. Had some speakers installed last week and wanted to speak to the rep that helped me, I live an hour away from any best buy store so I thought id call. Guess what? They no longer answer calls at the store, you can speak to someone in Asia, Columbia or Panama city, and if they connect you to the store answering machine, they wont call back, NEVER EVER WILL I USE BEST BUY AGAIN. Please so Im not crazy call a Best Buy store....

First of all you need to put something on your werbsite there letting people know that if you are buying a new computer and picking up curb side that they have to bring the old computer back and make an appt. Whats the point of curbside pick up if you have to pick up your computer and then bring it back or with you and still have to wait until it gets done. With the price of gas and I am partially disabled it was hard for me to come back and bring my computer, If I was told all this in the first place I would have saved a trip. When I paid online to the person who took my credit card, I asked more than once do I need to bring my old computer, she said no. Not being tech savvy, secondly when you call the geek squad, which I had a question about, I was transferred to 5 different people who gave me 5 different answers. Most were rude and getting a little nasty with me. Also you need to have the local stores phone number, you cannot tell me that you are that busy to talk to someone and answer a question, or at least make it possible for someone to leave a message and have someone call a customer back. Thats bad customer service. I was also trying to inquire about another item but since I could not get thru to the store I went someplace else to purchase the item. Your loss. I will say the only good thing that came out of this computer purchase was I think his name was Leslie, he is the geek squad person in the Little Rock store. He explained things to me, helped retrieve my password, very polite.

I purchased a ASUS Vivobook 17 online from BestBuy March 2022...3 months ago. It effectively died 3 months later. I spent 2 days doing every "Troubleshooting" technique on the ASUS website, after which time they CONFIRMED I am fully under Warranty, and sent me the following: "In the unlikely event warranty service, PLEASE CONTACT BESTBUY FOR SUPPORT AT 1800-433-5778 or VISIT HTTPS//WWW.BESTBUY.COM/GEEKSQUAD". I immediately set up an appointment for the next day and drove 2 1/2 hours to the closest BestBuy store (Woodland, CA). I arrived on time, and told the employee the laptop would NOT progress past the ASUS logo screen. I told him all the troubleshooting I had done, under ASUS direction. I had to show him how to get into the Bios screen (he had no idea). He then said this: "You need to buy a $199 Service Plan in order for us to work on the laptop". WHAT??? He would NOT accept the laptop for ANY investigation, let alone service, unless I did. I contacted ASUS again and they were dumbfounded...since the laptop was under FULL Warranty, and THEY had sent me to the "GeekSquad" for Warranty repair.

HIghly recommend looking for another verndor for any appliance. Best Buy delivery service damanaged the wood floor in my living and dining room and the marmoleum floor in my kitchen and scratched the door of the fridge. The delivery service was so careless I cannot believe that this isn't common. While processing the damage claim, I learned all Best Buy claims are handled by an insurance company with a 93% one star reviews. I thought this was odd given the fantastic reviews on Best Buys website. Guess what, Best Buy requires that you register to create a review and gives points towards merchandise for any review they publish. I feel I have been cheeted - avoid my mistake, shop elsewhere.

Buying and delivery is mostly fine…until you need easy help (online)… . Then prepare for wasted time and aggravation. On multiple occasions the reps did not understand a simple issue and they handed me off causing me to repeat lost dialogue; or they simply disconnected me - ‘technical problem.’ Right! Further, they went out of their way to avoid honoring incentives. It feels like ‘the insane are running the asylum,’ and lost sight of the objective - customer satisfaction and REPEAT BUSINESS!

Ordered a car stereo on May 30. Was told it would be delivered to the Grove City, Ohio store on June 4. We scheduled installation for June 10. By June 7 it still had not been shipped. It said delay in shipping. I called the store who when they couldn’t find the reason, connected me to the call center. I was told it was in Findlay, Ohio in the warehouse and was waiting on bulk shipping to the store. (It is close enough that I could go get it. Not like it’s across the country.) He said he would call me on June 8 or 9 and let me know the status. Of course he did not. Customer care at its finest. I finally called and found out it would not be there by installation date which was 6 days after the scheduled delivery date. I said forget it and just cancel. They were going to refund me everything including the protection plan I purchased minus shipping fees of $28.11. Oh no way! I canceled because of their unfulfilled promise, not because I changed my mind. Needless to say, I did get that returned too. They lost out on over $400. Many stores are failing these days due to places like Amazon and I can see why. They don’t care. I’ll not even try to purchase anything from there again.
