I tried to pay on line 3 times and it said there was an error. I then tried to pay by phone (at extra cost of £10.00) and the Agent said my card payment was not approved. I contacted my bank who said they blocked it as there seemed to be a problem with the transaction. Card was reset and payment was made. It was not made clear how to access One Call Portal to access my policy and confirm my DVLA data. I assumed I would get an email with a link but no I had to search google for the link to ensure that my policy had started. I only persevered because the Premium was good !

The chap I spoke to was very uninterested and just seemed to be going through the motions of answering a phone! I did try live chat as well but there was no one there! - so not very live chat I couldn’t download my documents as a pdf. You did give the option of updating it - I clicked on the link but t would only offer the all singing and dancing version with a monthly fee. It did have a free trial option but I didn’t want that. I wanted just basic pdf but that wasn’t an option! Overall, I have to say that your service on each option was poor

Everything was going well for the 11 months of the policy until I renewed my car one month before the end of the term. They took the opportunity to bleed me for nearly two months equivalent payments. The renewal for the new car elsewhere was cheaper than the existing policy. Pure greed from the insurer and broker taking any opportunity for a easy make for short term gain.

I have been a customer for 8/9 years and never made a claim and yet you still try to squeeze more money out of me. When my policy runs out I will look around for a company that respects their customers.

I’ve been without hot water to main bathroom 5 weeks since claim and getting a total runaround no way I’ll use them next year at my wits end

Too much faffing around, never have I had to ring DVLA, mess about uploading documents etc to be told it will mean cancelling policy or incuring extra charges if I don't hurry up and do things, awful

I got a price on compare the market. I rang one call to see if they could beat it and have my £40 from my review for the house insurance in Jan. They told me they couldn't and I would have to go on line. It was a pain to do taking me to different things so I gave up an forfeited my £40 for my sanity.

Chat with jd7 I wanted to cancel my car insurance policy after having to scrap my car. I was not happy to only get back about half my annual premium after only being on cover for 6 weeks. The accumulation of insurers cancellation fee, your cancellation fee and the renewal fee seems a rip off. I am also surprised that you charge a renewal fee for me auto renewing year after year. I have minimised your admin cost, given you recurring income and avoided you having to incur marketing and business acquisition cost. I feel customers who show any loyalty are just being taken advantage of. On the chat with Josh (jd7) he explained the breakdown of the charge quickly and well and the overall experience via chat seemed pleasanter than the frustrations you normally get when trying to telephone a company (call in queue, left on hold, passed around). The Chat experience I rate very good but I am only giving poor on the question how do I rate one call as I feel ripped off on the refund. Also when my car broke down I called the included recovery service - 2 recovery operators never turned up and I was only picked up by the third who said he was from a company you would not normally work with as they are too large. I was waiting in the cold on the roadside for 4 hours on Sunday afternoon and so cant say I was happy with this aspect!

tried to change my vehicle online which is cheaper than doing it on the telephone or via chat but I can’t view my policy documents or amend my policy very frustrating did get it sorted in the end by phoning and got a reduction in admin fee would love to do everything on line so much more convenient saving time waiting on phone queues

Staff fine but the the system of phone and website are terrible. Recorded message suggested I could change my address on line - and it would cost less. Tried several times but would not work so had rejoin the telephone queue again. Finally got through only to be informed it was done but it was going to cost £39.00!! Spent 50mins on sorting this simple task and pay a ridiculous admin fee. Will be changing to a different insurer at renewal.

Being charged £30 within an hour due to an unforeseen issue with collecting my new car, will probably be charged another £15 tomorrow when I do collect. You are only interested when I state I have a cheaper quote, can’t speak to anyone online because I’m a platinum customer, no idea what the actual benefit of this is as still end up on hold for ages waiting to speak to anyone on the dedicated number. Very unhappy after years of insuring with you, will definitely be changing insurers.

Not what I expected. Bought online, full payment upfront, only to say my 'application' is being processed...I didn't 'apply' for anything. I still don't know if payment has been taken, or if I'm insured. Every other policy i have ever bought has resulted instant cover, thus one boring job done for another year. However I still don't know if it is, whether they'll ring me (probably to upsell products...good luck), or whether I'll ring them.
