I’ve used DoorDash for months and have never had a problem. Currently i’m still waiting on a Chipotle and the delivery keeps being pushed back. It’s not DoorDash’s issue but an issue on Chipotle’s part.

You must choose how you want your food delivered by contactless delivery or handed directly to you on your app not drivers fault if you don't know how to use the app there reason you must choose some areas food will get stolen if is left in front porch. by porch pirate's by choosing contactless your responsable if get taken drivers have steps such as taking picture of where they left order to prove it was left where it should be. if u choose hand order to you. the driver must had order to you until that order is in your hands driver is responsible and if you don't take order then driver has timer and steps to try call or text you if you still don't take food from driver the driver can leave with food and get paid plus eat the food you the person who ordered the food you paid for and responsible for. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE AP ON HOW YOU WANT YOUR FOOD DELIVERED

As I am reading these reviews and I am actually a dasher I can actually tell you most people don't read the app when ordering example would be making sure delivery address you actually want food to go to is correct like work location instead of residence. Pandemic right now has merchants open one day normal hours, closed earlier then normal the next and possibly closed day after that. it is impossible for any company to keep up with the hours of operation best bet before placing order threw any third party delivery service is calling to find out if they are open or not and there hours of operation. Generally if merchant is closed and driver arrives at restaurant that driver gets half of the promised pay. As a driver I follow all instructions you leave such as for contactless delivery or hand order to customer or in the app they leave you spot for you to be specific instructions for where you want your food once arrives at the address you provide. I actually take pride what I do because I know I am actually helping business with getting there food to customers such as elderly who are in nursing home or assisted living who can't leave right now. As far as food being cold 50% time is merchants tell doordash when it will be ready by and they have it completed earlier then the time they give the time to doordash other 35% there trying to find a driver in the area some times drivers are dispatched over 45 min away cause there is no dasher in area working or it's extremely busy. the other 15% is u got crappy driver who dose not invest in More bags or bigger bags to keep food warm or just don't plain care. I personally take every order offered but can tell you if you don't leave a tip just delivery fee if you have one it is hard to find drivers who will take the order base pay for order is $2.00 and change for my area so how many of you would drive 10 miles in 6 inches of snow for $2.35 probably not many another reason why food gets delivered cold because most people would not drive in that far so little pay which means takes longer to find drivers.

I love Door Dash. In the midst of this pandemic - I am thrilled! The no-contact delivery has been great. I only wish more restaurants in my area would sign up. I live out-of-town, so, its a drive. However, staying healthy is a priority for me. I have no problem giving Dasher a generous tip for their service. I consider them, "1st responders." They are putting themselves at risk, so I stay safe. Kudos! Plus, they are helping restaurants stay afloat, and working so they can continue providing for their families. I wish more people would utilize Door Dash, and more businesses would employ the Dasher. Just my thoughts....

Ordered from Door Dash 2 times. My first order was all to h^ll and took forever but this time Brenda H from the Johnson City location did such a good job. Food was delivered fast, and she was so kind. Even gave my doggie some attention. Thank you Brenda H for turning my horrible experience with door dash last time into a good experience this time.

My order was wrong, multiple small mistakes, customer service apologized and refunded my entire order plus a $5 credit. I can't tell you how much I love these silly monkeys, they are perfect. 100/100 service.

I’m writing in defense of drivers (having worked as a delivery driver myself). Drivers are normally not allowed to check orders unless they place the order (i. e. for Taco Bell), so please stop down rating drivers for things beyond their control. As for bags being unsealed, I’ve had bags become unsealed due to the steam from the heat in the bag (or the restaurant does a poor job of sealing it). Drivers are not stealing your food!

if anyone is uncertain about doordash from these reviews, it's okay. i was also kind of uncertain. but luckily they got the food to me even faster than the app had said! which was great. i live in an area that is very easy to get to and pretty close to the restaurant, which might factor in.

I just downloaded the doordash app and made account and wanted to let Doordash know that I was very satisfied with the delivery of my food and The Dadher Anthony was fast and very professional. I will say Doordash was a blessing to us all with everything going on with being locked inside and I can not put into words how ea d y Doordash made it for me to get all my needs and FAST too!! I will definitely tell everyone i know about Doordash!!! And What a Big Blesssing you are to me in times like these. I don't know Anthony my dadhers last name .I would like to say Thank you to him from the bottom of my heart!!!! I will surely use Door dash on all my delivery needs!!! Thank you Sincerely!!!

DoorDash is fantastic. I order three or four times a week. Instructions are followed perfectly. Always get a knock on the door to alert me food is at the steps. Customer Service is excellent. Thank you Door Dash!

Doordash has always been awesome to me. Order usually on time, food is always hot. They leave it at the door as they are supposed to during the pandemic. Never had an issue. For those with issues make sure you tip in the app. Usually if you tip depending on the distance the dasher has to drive, you’ll get your food fast and hot. If you don’t tip or you tip $2, your food will not come fast, if at all. I live 10 miles out, always tip $20, and my food gets here quick! I order twice a week!

I love DoorDash and order all the time. I appreciate that their time estimates are usually pretty accurate. I have had a couple issues with orders, most recently I received the completely wrong order. I contacted customer service and they responded promptly and were very friendly, and issued a full refund (which I appreciated because I am vegetarian and received a meat order). 99% of the time there is no problem, and when there was, I found their response to be very satisfactory. Will order again.

I have used Door Dash about 5 times. I have always had excellent service. After reading all these bad reviews I felt I needed to say something positive. My orders have been correct and the delivery very professional and quick. I do tip very well because I appreciate this service.

This is so wonderful for someone who can not drive! I have my dash pass and can order for a huge array of restaurants with all different kinds of foods in my area. They give me a time and they are always right on time and the food is always hot. They have NEVER gotten the order wrong or forgotten anything.The delivery people are always nice and polite. It's the best thing going plus I get to try new and different places I would never have heard of if Door Dash had not had them on their list of restaurants. Please give them a try. I love them and you will too!
