I placed an order from Subway. The Door Dash driver needed a little help finding the location. I only speak English. The driver didn't speak one word of English. Consequently, we could not communicate. He finally gave up and I wasted $17 and I guess he ate the food. This was in the Houston area. I have decided that next time, in the special instructions, I will say I only speak English and if they don't have a driver that also speaks English to cancel my order.

They need to get their app together. There’s always something wrong. Right now you can’t communicate with the customer. Many times you have to reboot your computer in order to complete a delivery. They need to get up to speed!

I always tip very well on door dash and almost every driver does not say thank you or even acknowledge the generous tip. Very frustrating.

This is not a review about doordash. I am a dasher. To put this as nice as can and to be respectful to all our great customers, I would like to say customers satisfaction is 100 percent the most important thing. Each and every customer should receive there order on time and the order should be complete. That being said as everyone in our country knows gas prices are up substantially. There for food delivery cost go up as well. We all know the drill we have seen our food cost at the grocery store go up because of increased fuel cost. It is no different for food delivery. Food delivery is not a necessity it is a luxury. There for I would ask that if you can not afford that luxury you do not have food delivered. The average cost is 1 dollar a mile and the cost for the drivers time. That cost will be going up as long as gas goes up. It may go to 2 dollars a mile or more. This has nothing to do with doordash drivers. We do not control the price of fuel. That is done by state and federal government. Who you elect in your state and the taxes on fuel your willing to pay. I would just ask that if you can not afford these fuel cost you do not order food to be delivered. If you want a change in these high fuel cost you may want to elect people who do not impose them on you.

Yes Im still driving for door dash, for how much longer depends on how well we get along and how truthful their really are. In the Tampa area, they have taken away top Dasher program and have replaced it with a tier ranging program platinum gold, silver a pilot program. Upon implementation of this program, I ranked in the platinum supposed to be the top offers. Today I drove a lot of miles for very little pay on several orders. Having my acceptance rate at 99% before I started this day I ended up having to bring it down to like 94%. Let me explain I received an offer to go to checkers for 4.50 for 5.6 miles. I declined the offer not even by later another offer for 440 for 2.5 miles same place. I thought I was supposed to be getting the top offers. Why am I getting the top offers after I declined again my point that I have made on this particular platform DoorDash set you up to sabotage your ratings. I went ahead and accepted that offer finished received another offer for three dollars to go six something miles. I declined. Not even five seconds later I get an offer for five dollars to go 2.5 miles. Why didn’t I get that offer in the first place, once I completed that order they wanted me to go to a florist pick up four orders go 25 miles per $10 I declined. Not even two seconds later, I get an offer, same place same amount of pick ups for deliveries at the same place to go 35 miles for 14.75 an hour , I declined and then I ended my dash two hours early. Thanks very much DoorDash for nothing.

DOORDASH. Had both good/bad experiences. BUT one thing that was super annoying - is FILTERING of feedback! When I left a Positive review it was approved. Negative feedback NOT approved ?

First I paid an extra $2.99 to have the order epedited and of course it was late even by the new time they stuck in there after they missed the first deadline. I accidentialy ordered 2 of the same item and of course by the time I could log on to doordash after calling the store like the driver told me to I was told I had to contact door dash, so i started a chat and they let me know they could not help with the item ordered twice thats fine but I expected the xtra cost to be refunded. Well they said no and ended the chat. I tried to start a new chat but was told I was taking too long so they ended that chat. Someone then called me and apologized but said she could give me $5.00. That was it. My reply close my account now!!!

I've been a big fan of Door dash since 2021 and I had three issues only within this time and their customer service used to be top notch but for some reason this year in particular, the customer service is very rude, condescending, rushed and won't listen to your complaint with compassion. You can tell the chat agents don't want to be bothered and one accused me of being impatient concerning timing when I waited for an order that was suppose to take 20 minutes and I was still waiting 1 hour in a half later for my food and the CS agent refused to cancel my order. Also some of the dash drivers don't speak English and that becomes hard because the dasher can't communicate with you so you can help them with instructions. The chat agents for Door dash has ruined the customer service experience. I didn't know what system that had before but it needs to go back because I will definitely be cancelling my account if this happens a fourth time.

Why are you guys increasing the prices of the food. When ordering from door dash the food is higher than it actually is through the company. That's why I don't pay a lot in tips. You guys should pay the drivers hourly because you are up charging for the food, plus the tax, and then the tip. Mannnnn...I will go get my own food, but for people not able to this is a beat.

Don't order the express delivery option. You'll end up paying more for the same service. On a few occasions my dashers stopped during the delivery for several minutes. This would indicate that they are making another delivery. DoorDash just doesn't show their status as "making another delivery". DoorDash customer service classifies this as an issue that they can't assist or compensate for. Consequently you are out the express fee with no express service.

I usually get the wrong order or missing food items. These doordash drivers don't check to see of order is right or wrong. Hate loose money on wrong delivered foods.

I order 1000s of dollars of food each year from DD. We caregive in the home and need this service frequently. I would say 75% of our orders are correct and on time. But 25% are not and I report them. Recently, DD put a flag on my account that read: It appears we can't get it right with you (something like that). We are going to have to review your account before you can have a refund. Now, that would have really irritated me if I was missing an item or something was cold. BUT it was neither! I just wanted to get a message to the Dasher. That's it. This prompt immediately came up under the "help" button. That really put me off. Guilty until proven innocent. DD - just so you know - 75% of 1000s is still a few 1000.

I have tried to call doordash for help and all they say is go to a spot and it will reset I told them I want to schedule but I can't because they have me going 4 hours away they told me to reset the app. They don't help

Doordash has already been contacted. Last Saturday, April 6th 2024 I ordered on your website from Chili's. I received notice that the Dasher was on his way for delivery. As I went to the door to get my food, the Dasher came running up to my door and said he gave me the wrong order and took off with that order. I never received my food, expect my Sundae from McDonald's, from another Dasher. I contacted Doordash and they took my money and decided not to refund me. Now I have a charge on my credit card for nothing. Terrible experience.

Not sure why I keep trying to drive for this company and exceed their expectations of their OWN goals they set for the drivers when they keep sending you on offers that sabotage your progress. Oxymoron situation here.

There is always something wrong with the every order I place. I ordered Crumble, and they gave me the wrong cookies. Not one was what I ordered. Than I had to wait 30 minutes for a new order. I DONT recommend. This has happened 6 times already, and I can't take it happening again. Come on. 😠

I've been a driver for a while. Today I worked for 4 hours in extreme weather, pouring down, high wind and lastly it turned into a freezing snow. No promo. No additional pay. Finished working, went home soaked wet from head to toe, cold,checked the app little bit later for my schedule and noticed there is a promo for additional $5 for every order after the extreme weather went away. There is no rain, no snow now, no harsh temps and drivers are getting additional $5 bucks. I worked in some very bad and dangerous conditions during winter and there were probably 3 occasions I got promo of $2 for every order. I'm talking piles of snow, dangerous driving conditions, getting stuck all the time and temps falling even into negative digits (Farenheit). This is ridiculous. Like it's not bad enough already. Low pay, expensive gas, constantly going above and beyond when doing shopping orders even though it won't earn me any more money, it just makes me late, scammers ... I just got fed up today.

I usually get my food on time, but perhaps we could teach Dashers that they have a headlight switch so neighbors on their porches aren’t getting blinded during the delivery, very simple. Turn off headlights, leave parking lights on for safety. Ever been at Sonic across from someone who doesn’t get it?

I always order through doordash. In February and March this year, items were missing. The February transaction was okay as Doordash refunded me a little over 4 dollars but the March missing item, they said "they refunded me" but nothing came into my visa debit account. I contacted them again and was advised that the refund was processed on their end and to contact my bank. I did what they told me and the bank told me there wasnt pending. (I used to work a bank, so if deposits like this usually takes about 3-7 business or more depending if there is an issue from.the .sender. So, I contacted Doordash again and was told the refund was processed on the same date mentioned when I contacted them the first time. I REEXPLAINED BUT THE CHAT AGENT DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE ANYTHING I SAID. Instead, chat agent advised me the issue was wacalarwz to a special team and I will receive an email from that team in 1-2 business days. I was not surprised that no email was received conaidering I checked my junk and spam folders as well. There was one email I received from Doordash about 7 days after that advice by the chat agent, but it was a survey of how they did. They needed to refund 16 somethig dollars. I gave them 2 stars could given them 1 because some couriers werw awesome! I refrain from using Doordash after that experience. If its integrity the reason why dis not refund me because I complained maybe 2-3 times foe missing items, what more Doordash system.twlling their agents and me as a customer that refund was processed even if it was not. I even told the chat agent I can sens my bank statement as proof .but then again I got ignored. Competitors are even better with Doordash fees are not cheap too. Good luck Doordash!
