So bad and unreliable Bad customer care Was suppose an important parcel scheduled for the 20/11/19. No one attempted delivery at all. On re tracking the parcel on the day of expected delivery, it said that the parcel is scheduled for 21/11. I re tracked it on 21/11 it said that it is in the depot. I could only chat to the customer service department via the app. The first person told advised that the depot will call me within one hour which never happened. The second one started the chat thenn disappeared and ignored me. the third one said that the parcel was sent to the sender though the tracking information still says that it is at the local depot. He said the sender has to send me a replacement. Now my parcel is lost and the sender will not send me anything as the tracking info on the website says that the parcel is still at the local dpd depot. Very bad and unreliable

I bought an item from John Lewis and paid for next day delivery. The day it should have been delivered they emailed to say it was delayed and would be the day after. In fact DPD delivered it two days after the expected delivery date and it has been opened by DPD and resealed with their own tape. I haven't even opened it myself yet. Absolutely disgraceful. The package feels rattly and light. I've complained to John Lewis and am waiting for a response. Why have DPD opened my package ?

Had a parcel that was meant to be delivered Monday. Never received an update with a time slot so assumed it wouldn't be delivered and went out. Courier tried to deliver to no avail. This happened 3 times then the parcel was returned to some depot in Middleton. Said I was willing to pick up my parcel and arranged it only to be told I HAD to have a utility bill dated within the month. When I said I do everything online and don't receive paper bills and all others are yearly was pushed to have my parcel delivered to a neighbour (not going to happen in my area!) ended up having to arrange delivery as both my passport and driving licence aren't enough to prove who I am! No doubt I won't be receiving the one hour time slot on Monday either but I guess we'll see!

My delivery was due 10th November, received a call the day before to cancel and told will receive a call to rebook. No call came had to chase. Then arranged to have my parcel delivered to a pick up point on 15th as I was not going to be home, they called to cancel and said they will deliver Saturday 16th, as I would be home then I told them to deliver to my home address. I received a call on the Saturday to tell me they couldnt deliver until Monday, I had to make sure someone was home, guess what? no delivery was told they would deliver on the 19th, as no none home that day I asked for Wednesday 20th delivery, but no it was too much to hope that DPD were telling the truth, I was then told the 21st November. It now transpires that my parcel is 'lost' or probably in someone else's kitchen or sold down the pub more like. They are a dreadful company and judging by some of the reviews people have left this is common practise.

I was promised next day delivery so someone stayed home to wait for it and it never came. I was only visiting my family back home but had to pay money to rebook my train home since my parcel hadn’t arrived. I can’t get through to anyone on the phone and the live chat is an automated piece of rubbish! I will avoid DPD at all costs in the future

What went wrong? Everything. Every... single... time. Please, all companies, stop using this godawful courier.

instead of leaving in the designated safe place it was just pushed under a gate and left in a puddle! by the time i came home the box was sodden and item wet inside! whats the point of having the designated safe place if you don't use it! And yes the gate was unlocked!

Pathetic delivery company with every excuse in the book to not do something. This is the 3rd time that they have screwed me around and it is also now the last... Will never ever use DPD again to send or receive.

I wasn't able to attend delivery at the alloted time period and I had to call customer service to ask for reschedule. Although with the delivery estimated for the next day, they refused to offer me another time slot. The only option was to collect the parcel at a later time from a safe place 2.3 miles away. I said I wanted to complain and was advised to wait for a call from the management team to address the issue. Nobody called back. They just ignored me. Totally disappointed.

Appalling service Directors need to address complaints and I know they wont deal with mine! Delivery driver would not deliver my parcel because DPD have not updated their postcodes on their database! He was 2 mikes away, called the correct phone number to confirm who I was. Are DPD in the parcel delivery business? Then why are new postcodes not added to their system more regularly? We have been here since May 2019 other companies deliver here no problem.

Wow, the worst delivery company on planet Earth! They send you a text message to tell you about your 1 hour delivery slot! How impressive (hahahahah)! They NEVER SHOW UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They find excuses like road accident?????????????????This is London you can have a road accident but turn around and at least TRY TO DELIVER EVEN IF LATE! In previous occasions driver even lied that he came to my flat and he NEVER DID! I am always at home when expecting my delivery!

I wish this company would die!!!! Absolutely terrible!! I ordered something from an online ecommerce website and couldn't believe it when I found out the merchant had used this company to deliver my parcel as I have had rubbish service from them in the past - I would never choose this company and you shouldn't either. They don't deliver!! They can't even be bothered to get out of the van and walk 20m to deliver, I pay for these deliveries and find myself having to travel miles to a collection depot, I consider that in itself theft!! I hate this company and would never employ anyone that it uses.

Nightmare! BT’s chooser courier and what an absolute nightmare. Organised to have my parcel delivered to work due to having to show photo ID and working 9-4 everyday! First day, Paul the delivery man said he’d tried to deliver and nobody was home!! Blatant lies as I work in a Nursing home and there is always somebody there! Rearranged for delivery the following day but decided to use the “follow my parcel” so I could track where my Parcel was! Estimated time of delivery 12:26-13:26! I tracked it until 12:26 when it was on the road I work on..... no sign, I stood at the bottom of the driveway and waited for it, no sign! At 12:29 I had a message saying “oh no we’ve missed you” unbelievable as nobody had attempted to deliver my parcel! I rang the company and they agreed the driver had gone to the wrong address two days on the trot (same delivery driver may I add) but there was no way he could redeliver or allow me to go and meet him as they can’t give out drivers whereabouts, funny because I had tracked him all day long and knew his exact whereabouts! They said I could collect from the depot, now I live in Cannock, depot is in Smethwick! 45 min journey in rush hour traffic to get to the depot and have to wait 40 mins for them to locate my parcel. I’d received a message at 15:28 saying “yay your parcel is at the depot” and it still took 40 mins to locate it! I would never, ever recommend this company! Steer clear unless you want to be filled with utter lies and wait for ever for your delivery!!

Poor delivery company. I changed my delivery date and Waited in for a delivery which didnt arrive. this was due to them returning it to sender as it was damaged. It wasnt damaged for the original delivery date. I've had probLems with damaged parcels in the past and witnessed them them been rammed in someones vehicle. Dpd could have text me to inform me but they didnt. I found out when I contacted them due to there tracking service been unavailable. Get your act together dpd

Absolutely useless one day service. Agents told me drop by 10:00am parcel will be collected. Fine for 7 parcels. 8th parcel, driver picks up early at 09:00 (shop opens at 08:30 so only a 30 minute window for people to drop there parcels off that day) so I miss the collection. Told by agents for DPD Local there were deliveries on Saturday and Sundays. Nope still sitting in there depot. Customer still waiting for their parcel. Contacted via chat customer service, "no control over pick up times", really! Saturday delivery extra, not what I was told by their agents. It is not extra for Saturday delivery with Hermes, and for a cheaper "slower" it would have been there by now. Yes Hermes is rubbish as well, but clearly not as rubbish as DPD Local who won't be getting any more custom from me.

Many of their drivers are lazy. Multiple occasions where they come to the address, take a picture of the building entrance, don't ring the bell, and leave.

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour form their driver and the support people - waited whole day at home for the delivery, nothing. Apparently driver attempted delivery ?!?! Location card photo showed a completely different building! Total shambles. And the delivery was a day late already... Well done DPD, hope you'll go out of business soon.
