Most of the drivers are OK and can deliver, the rest of the business is frankly utterly hopeless. (Luckily) Had a missed delivery card left, as I'm aware of lots of people not having the not even leaving the card and only finding out of an attempted delivery when contacting the seller to ask where the parcel is. Web site is useless, freezes often, gives no useful option, such as deliver to another address. Local DPD depot (Middleton) seems to be staffed by complete moron, who seems to think telling people about his new iphone is impressive, moans about been busy. No ability to think outside the box, or any interest in resolving issues. Really stupid revolving door from / to customer car park that have to use a buzzer to get through that does not seem to be answered. Much easier to simply walk around the fence

How much business does DPD loose through these bad reviews and do they even care? Let's hear from you DPD as you seem to take no responsibility for your appalling service and customer care attitude? Let's hear about your unreliable service? Let's hear about your absolutely useless and insulting customer care? Let's hear about why you employ useless and rude managers? Let's hear why anyone should use you? Let's hear who in the company takes any responsibility? Let's hear why your CEO leaves lectures on customer behaviour when DPDs is so bad? Lets hear why she is still employed by this failing company? Let's hear how DPDs standards have plummeted over the last years? Let's here about why you treat your customers with such contempt? Let's hear what the future is for your company? Let's hear how much longer you can survive when you literally do not deliver? Is there anyone accountable that can reply to this?

I rang customer services waited 37minutes to get through gave them my tracking number which they said they could not find. I went on their site and found it for them. They then said they could not discuss this as I had not booked the delivery and hung up the phone on me!! NEVER AGAIN DPD !!!

DPD you are a joke. A parcel should be delievered in Monday. Next day (after waiting 30 minutes to someone pick a phone up) you said that a parcel is still at depot but damaged. Okay I said I want to pick my parcel up from Oldubry now, but you said it can be collected tommorow only. Great, you set a collection up at 3pm day after (delivery was'nt possiable anymore because of risk of spillage). Okay then, next day when I was on my way for a parcel I have a call from bloody DPD that collection is not possiable anymore because MY PARCEL IS LOST. The worst company ever.

Delivery did not come now been on hold for over 35 mins with the same automatic message saying " we are sorry to keep you waiting, lots of people have been shopping online and have contacted us about their delivery, but as an app user we have leapfrogged you to the foront of the cue" 🤣🙃🤔😡. Awful customer service.

Couldn't find my house. Again. It's only been here since the early 1800s and is easy to find, but apparently way too much trouble to get here if you work for DPD. As for trying to get hold of them...forget it.

Waited for delivery; guy did not turn up. Lied and said he knocked and left a card. No card and no knock. Took a picture of my block from the ground floor at the perimeter of the grounds.

CEO should be sacked as the lack of judgment displayed in their customer services pre recorded message followed by a most ignorant and rude 'service' is just unbelievable. At least she has put her name to this and can be identified for sacking - assuming assuming she has given her real name?! - if you try and get anyone elses name to report, it is not given 'due to data protection (I've heard some pathetic and convenient excuses in my time!!) They just don't want to be answerable. I have been regularly using couriers and delivery companies for buisiness and DPD used to be OK a few years ago. Since then they have just spiralled into a totally unreliable and unprofessional company who do not seem interested in their customers or saving their pitifull 'service'. They are now the worst by far in my experience and I will not chosse to use them again or buy from suppliers who use them if I have a choice.

Was sent a message which confirm my parcel was going to be delivered to me on the 14th September, however this was not the case, it took an extra 7 days for me to receive it and it eventually arrived on the 20th September "7 days after" not good enough considering the the length of time they overshot this by.

LIED ABOUT ATTEMPTED DELIVERY. I stayed home for a delivery that was scheduled for this morning. Only for me to receive an email that "delivery was attempted and no one was home". I was literally sitting by door. No calling card was left like they claimed in the mail. This is really disappointing. ZERO customer service!

After more than 6 items have been damaged when delivered by DPD recently I will now never buy from a company who uses DPD as their delivery service. They kept me waiting more than 3 hours over the scheduled delivery time today. No warning or courtesy text to let me know either. Customer service took 32 minutes to answer their phone! Then when the item finally arrived, it's completely shattered! The delivery person must have really thrown it around to have shattered a heavy cement pot like that, as it was well packaged by Neptune. Last week my husband's computer hard drive was also completely damaged and had to be sent back because the fan was detached completely by being thrown around in transit again! This must happen frequently because when you call their helpline their getting message is by the CEO of DPD demanding that customers not yell (quite rightly) at their staff! If she actually took the time to improve the quality of service DPD provides instead of lecturing customers they might not have iterate customers in the first place! Avoid this company like the plague!!! Constantly damaging items in transit & turning up late is not a good business model! Looking at the other 1 star reviews DPD should seriously consider new management! AVOID DPD!!!

Very poor delivery service, I’ve not once received a parcel on time. Their website is not very user friendly and every parcel I’ve tracked appears to stay in their depot for a minimum of 4 days. I’ve not once been able to get through to anyone on the phone. Avoids if possible

Rang customer services about another failed delivery and after a rediculously long wait listening to messages about how busy they were (probably 100s of complaints and no adequate staff dealing with them ?) I had to listen to some pathetic and totally unprofessional and naive message from some 'director' woman lecturing about not being rude or abusive and that there was no excuse for this. Their whole system seems set to frustrate and annoy - it is no wonder that frustrations are shown by customers who are being treated like poop. Mrs Director - you need to wake up to the reality that it is your staff who are rude and provocative. They are very unhelpful and disinterested and very confrontational. Your greeting message is so hypercritical and weak. Your service is useless and pathetic. DPD should sack you and get a grip on their appalling 'service'. Maybe DPD UK will be saved by a buy out although who would want their aweful reputation??

Another day wasted waiting for a booked and paid delivery that never happened. Absolute further waste of time trying to trace what whent wrong through Customer Services who are just abusive and extremely unhelpfull after a very long wait to get through. What exactly is Customer Services there for? Terrible company !

Waited in all day for express delivery that never came - tried to rind DPD waited 35 mins to get through and then they just hung up on me. I have no idea when or if the parcel will now be delivered.....terrible and insulting service that I will never use again.

NEVER AGAIN !! BUNCH OF AMATEURS ! Promised new delivery slot for urgent parcel that had not been delivered as promised. Took time off work and no delivery. Spent over an hour trying to chase up on phone to be informed py a very rude man that the parcel could not be traced and that I should contact the sender. When asked why they had not informed me that they would not be making the delivery he put the phone down on me !!! I would try and get compensation but they will not provide a reliable personal contact....They dissown thier mistakes. They lie.. They couldn't care less about their customers....Be warned and avoid !!

Another missed express delivery paid for by sender to 'ensur' important and urgent delivery for wedding present. DPD now say they have no record of it even though their website shows it on tracking !!!! This company is just aweful and totally dishonest. When you ring them (if you can get through within 30-40 minutes !!!!) they are clearly disinterested, comfrontational and dishonest. What company should survive when they treat their customers with such little respect? This and the fact that their service is totally unreliable and a shambles. Be warned - do not use DPD and do not buy from any suppliers who use them to 'deliver/lose/damage/steel your parcel. - DPD are a total disgrace !!!

Will not use again! I have ordered some important items and paid for the chosen day delivery. was waiting all day for it. Driver didn't even attempt the delivery! he just posted "nobody was there to sign"when i contacted the dpd they said that he left the calling card by my brown door. It's a shame that i dont have brown door! Will not use again!!

Missing parcel. Waited in for delivery but no sign of courier - on the website it said parcel delivered and that I had signed for it. Driver couldn’t be bothered to ring my doorbell and said that he left it with the concierge - although couldn’t explain the fraudulent signature. The concierge has no record of a delivery. Two weeks later, numerous calls and emails and a personal visit to depot, DPD continue to insist that the parcel was delivered. I have no phone upgrade, I’m £115 out of pocket. DPD says I have to claim from the seller (Carphone Warehouse), but Carphone Warehouse says I have to raise a civil dispute with DPD. Basically I’m being accused of lying, or the concierge is, and no-one is prepared to take responsibility. I will not be using them in the future and will boycott those companies who use their services.
