For the 3rd time today a DPD delivery driver rings the wrong bell, sends a text that no one is home and leaves. The contact number provided is just to an automated system to reschedule delivery, no option to speak to an actual human being so customer services is virtually non-existent. I had to take a day off work to receive this delivery and now I have to take another! AVOID DPD!

They were supposed to deliver my parcel on the specific date, but they didn't. When I called them, the operator told me that they haven't received my original adress from the place I did my shopping. Their service is like a joke!!!

This was the 12th jan today is the 23rd and im still waiting for this to be sorted between ugg and dpd and to honest neither of them are anygood. dpd wont speak to me because the order was placed through ugg so i need to chase ugg up nearly every day they say they will call you to let you know whats happening and dont !!!!!!!!!!

Success! The furniture item delivered. Thank you 'Furniture Market' of Tarporley, Cheshire for a really excellent service 5 out of 5 for you. DPD should introduce a minus score on their grid.

Supplying company contacted the courier and is also not happy as differing excuses as to why the item hasn't been delivered being given by DPD. (Think I've read that in other reviews). Item is being reclaimed by the supplier who will arrange for a replacement to be delivered to us tomorrow (obviously not through DPD). In sentiment with other reviewers, any goods we look to purchase on-line will be declined if the deliverer is DPD as they appear incapable/unwilling to operate a professional courier service. Good luck to anyone who has to use them.

As a follow up to the small piece of furniture being delivered, supplying company spoke with the courier and the Feltham branch. Everything supposedly arranged for delivery between 9.30 / 10.30 as confirmed earlier today by text sent from the courier. Our phone number also taken for driver contact ........ one presumes. Time has now elapsed and no sign of the courier so far ..... Looks like another wasted day looming. Update to follow

Ordered a small piece of furniture. To my utter dismay I discovered the delivery courier would be DPD. In the past we have been due various deliveries from this company. A mobile telephone which ultimately had to collect from depot. Clothing, ultimately had to collect from local shop - Two occasions. Prior to Christmas a picture was taken of house where apparently 'Nobody in'. The house was in a different road!!! On this occasion, the item was due to be delivered on 17th Jan. Received a text saying 'Nobody in'. Picture of house supplied was at opposite end of the street. Delivery was arranged for 19/Jan between 1.15 / 2.15 p.m. Another text just received saying 'Nobody in' with a picture of the house which is also the same house at opposite end of the street. Well I happened to walk down to this address and spoke to a guy who has been working on lights in the driveway all day at this address and he advised that no van driver tried to deliver any merchandise. It would appear the driver turned up, took a photo of the house and drove on. Instructions were given on 17th Jan to deliver on 19th and reiterated the delivery instructions. Clear and succinct. I would've hoped these were passed to the van driver and they would've been able to read. Apparently not. Phoned up the supplier who have spoken to DPD and apparently delivery now arranged for 20th Jan. I will be back on here tomorrow to advise if DPD have employed any van drivers with common sense and have made a successful delivery.

I paid an extra £5 for Sunday delivery service. Stayed all day at home waiting for delivery. When I call them to find out why the parcel still have not been delivered I was told that they forgotten it in a depot and will deliver some other day. Just one question: why did you charge me extra for Sunday delivery then? I spent my Sunday at home waiting for the delivery I paid extra for and the courier has never turned up. DPD is the most unreliable and incapable couriers ever. Would recommend to everyone to avoid them if possible.

There should be an option for negative stars. DPD drivers are the worst ever. Surely DPD knows their reputation and problems, but decide to ignore the clients. I will not buy anything from any company that uses DPD as courier. If I get to know the courier is DPD will cancel the order immediately and order from another company.

The parcel contained three Christmas presents and was meant to be at one of their pick up locations 5 days before Christmas. Despite daily reassurances from their customer services it did not arrive until 28/12. We even offered to drive the 40 miles to the depot but were told it wouldn't be necessary. The pick up location told me that if they only have one parcel it is too far for them to come and this is a regular occurrence.

I was sending a parcel to Sri lanka and it had a normal sony vaio laptop. They returned saying it had a battery over 100 watts or the battery is more than 5kg. The whole parcel including the laptop, a laptop bag and some other items was 5kg. I checked the specification of the battery in the laptop and its only 300grams and 50watts. The lady I spoke from DPD was rude and didnt want to help at all. They simply dont care. Very poor customer service.

Apparently i wasn't in when dpd tried to deliver my parcel today, they even sent me a photo of a completely different house to prove it. I tried to get in contact but nobody answers the phone, the customer enquiries form won't send and there's nobody on the other end of the "live chat". I wonder where they'll go tomorrow

Utterly the worst delivery service in the UK. I will refuse to buy from any merchant that uses them. DPD was the carrier for two separate consignments to my address on the same day. They left a single notice card for me with a single reference number. When I tried to arrange collection at a drop point in London, it only allowed this for one of the two parcels. The second required me to go to their depot in SW London. I went to the Mandela, London depot to collect for the pre-arranged appointment to be told 'your parcel is out for delivery'. I stated that I had two parcels - one to be delivered at a pick up spot in Pimlico London, the other to be collected that day. The agent told me 'that's not what it says on our system' - this despite me having printed confirmation from the same system. The agent rang the driver who said I needed to be at my residence between 3pm and 4 pm and he would deliver to me. I was there on time, but the delivery occurred at after 5pm - and it was the item I'd arranged to be delivered to the drop off point. I rang the DPD help number, and after some discussion, they said the item I had booked to collect at the depot WAS at the depot, but I needed to be there in a very short time before the depot closed. This required me to take a taxi (my second of the day) to the depot- who gave me the second package, indicating it had been in the depot storage cage the entire time. This service is horrendous. Never again.

I don't even want to leave you one star! I live very rural and a collection from my house was booked today for a insurance purpose. So it's Christmas hols, stuck at home with two kids bored stupid and waited all day for a parcel to be collected via DPD for my phone provider. Until the phone is collected and the insurance sorted I'm without s mobile in a very rural location! All day! Nothing. Had a email 3 days ago to say it would be today, it also said I'd get a time slot in the day. Put tracking number online and it says it was a unsuccessful collection- absolute rubbish!! You haven't even been here. I try customer services to get inappropriate options and cannot go any further. I then email customer services to get both emails returned undelivered! I have no idea when your collecting this parcel now! I damned sure I'm not waiting in again tomorrow! I will now contact the phone insurance and let them know your service is a waste of space. My neighbour said you've done this loads to him too. Let alone all the people leaving you reviews.

Waited for my parcel and was tracking online. Tracking data updated with unable to deliver as nobody to sign, calling card left. What a total lie !!! I had waited in for the parcel and nobody called and no card was left. I contacted customer services almost immediately and they contacted the driver, who told them that he was now out of the area, just 5 minuets from saying that he called ?....I`m sure DPD don`t deliver by helicopter ?....Anyway, awful service and the drivers are liars. They make no effort to deliver, what so ever.

We were expecting a parcel from our daughter for my husband's birthday. Nothing arrived on the day. Two days later my husband was putting out the rubbish and found a wet crumpled note from DPD in the back lane. The driver had come to the back door where there is no letter box and did not bother going to the front and posting his note through the door. It was just luck that we found it - he had obviously left his note on the doorstep. This is quite unacceptable, and disappointing for both my daughter and husband - she had used the next day delivery service so that the parcel would arrive on her dad's birthday.

Item time sensitive, waited for DPD van at the time specified in the text they sent to me but didn't see anyone. Before time expired got another text saying that nobody was home to sign for, followed by a text letting me know that the item will be left next week in the safe space specified by me ( I did'n specify anything). Next morning, text again my parcel will be delivered in the following hours. Waited, waited, suddenly text message again letting me know that parcel was delivered in the safe space mentioned. A couple pictures attached with a door I didn't recognized. Called DPD to clarify where my item is, they didn't want to hear anything from me as the parcel appeared to them as delivered. I have to insist, so I was suggested to 'contact the sender and get details about measurements, content and appearance' of my parcel. After being to their system, measured, weighted, insured, they wanted me to contact the sender and ask him if the door in the delivery picture is my door? Called them again, they can't do anything as their system says the parcel is delivered, waiting for me on my front porch. A few days later I was contacted by a neighbour from the other side of the village, they found a parcel with my name on it inside an outer building somewhere at the back of the house. So, 10 days later I have my parcel, without 0 support from the non existent DPD Customer service

They tried to deliver my parcel when I wasn't in, so I rebooked for a Saturday delivery-no sign of them and a total waste of my weekend. When it finally was delivered to a neighbour it was smashed to smitheens-and the customer service response was lukewarm to say the least. I will never use DPD or Doddle again.
