Rowan on Route 417 .......My delivery driver, Rowan, was a happy and helpful person. He greeted me with a smile and willingly took my two, huge, parcels to the top of the stairs for me.

Took day off work to receive an important and valuable delivery.....missed time slot...chased it up - took over 30 mins to get through to customer services only to be told that they could not trace the ref number and I must contact the sender...so how is it that I was informed about the delivery slot and how is it that the parcel can now not be tracked or found. This is going to take some time to sort out - my time and my expense ! DPD are just totally unreliable and it appears dishonest. Their customer services is a total waste of time and they do not seem to care. I will never use DPD again or buy from any company that employs them. Why would any reputable company use DPD with their awful track record and attitude towards customers and clients?

Sat in all morning for parcel. The company claims they tried to deliver but we were out and left a card! They did not attend and no card was left. Terrible service

Terrible service. DPD delivered my bike box back to me after it was refurbished. Unfortunately they damaged it in transit, then refused to help with collection for repair. They have this policy (presumably designed to limit their liability) that any claim must be made by their customer - the sender (who may not be the recipient). But in this instance the sender was of the view that they'd done their job and it wasn't they problem. The upshot is I spent over £100 on refurbishing my bike box but now its damaged agin - all thanks to DPD. Best avoid them.

Got an ETA @9:30 am saying delivery expected between 3 + 4 that day. I left instruction to leave parcel in porch or with a particular neighbour ( next door). I stopped the delivery driver on the road at 12:30 with all my ID available and he refused to give it to me . And told me he would leave in porch . 3:07 my ring doorbell was activated and DPD there told him to leave in porch and he refused saying it needed a signature and he walked away didn’t even bother trying my neighbour telling me it was going back to depot. I called at the depot and was told I wouldn’t be getting that parcel from them even though I had full ID on me. Also like another customer the driver put a nice bright red callling card into the frame of a bright white front door with a perfectly working letter box in the middle of it ,letting every torag that happens to come past know I’m not in .

I have read that DPD have received awards for their 500 strong Customer Services (Experiences !!??) Team !!! If a 'service' as terrible as theirs can win awards this must undermine the whole award credibility. It beggars belief and is like giving MBE s to the Great Train Robbers !

***ZERO STARS **** ZERO STARS ***ZERO STARS***ZERO STARS *** ZERO STARS* I received a parcel from Cadbury's delivered by DPD. The parcel had been ripped into and a vast of the majority of the contents eaten. The driver had made an attempt to repair the box with tape. The box had clearly been ripped into (clearly with desperation) whilst in the depot. It wasn't the driver, he delivers to me regularly. I haven't at any time received a parcel in such a state. I am aware that DPD are a budget courier, clearly household names like Cadbury are happy to put their name and reputations with such a poorly run company with such poor reviews. At some point DPD will take notice of their poor reputation regardless of the "Hubs" they rave on about. Bigger isn't always better, they are only as good as the staff they employ. The household names will hopefully pay attention to the poor reputation of this immoral company also, I have certainly brought it to their attention. I don't often choose to leave reviews, this is very unusual for me. I would give zero stars if I could.

Stayed in all day yesterday 10/1/19 dpd left a card on the doorstep not through the letter box, we have 1 bell on the gate 1 on the porch neither was activated. Have had to stay in another day today. I’ve been told the drivers have a few seconds to deliver so just place their card and get home early, will not order on line again

I am still trying to locate my order... what I can say is their delivery times are 3x DHL, their tracking doesn't work, their website doesn't work, their app doesn't work and cant reach them by phone because the queue is so large. as customer experience goes id say this is as bad as it gets... will avoid like the plague in future

No item. Card through door said left in porch. We don't have one front nor rear. Secondly, you'd said no worries, drivers take a photo of where left, but you'd said oh dear must be an error, there's no photo. No signature at all either, so not even a neighbour. Fourthly, after investigation driver had no explaination why hed written left in porch (when we don't have one) or why he hadn't left it in the place read back to me over the phone which was NOT porch and very detailed. Company of item have to go to court. DPD's investigation process is not sufficient and clearly there is something very wrong with DPD's delivery policy and process and is obviously why 93.93% give DPD one star. Though should be 0 star if delivery drivers are not accountable. I will not purchase anything on line again if dpd is the courier. I will add the clearly poor delivery policy and investigation process outcomes to other forums to ensure others are aware this is happening. Doubly so at Christmas. Shouldn't be insurance by amazon who pays, so still processing via court with seller at this point. P.S. your questionnaire below does not allow your customer to click Not received, nor give option to click having used two options of communication, nor give option to say actually customer service representative were polite and initially seemingly interested to know what had happened, however obviously has their hands tied when it comes to acknowledging errors clearly evident but still having to advise that DPD investigation was that they were satisfied it was delivered?!# Not understanding at all. But cannot waste any more time on this! Hoping Amazon can see and take note of all communication and gaps in their protocols and hence have majority% bad reviews.

Disappointed, frustrated and angry.. That is the feeling that dpd gave me today.. I have ordered a travel system from dunelm (£300) and paid £9.95 for delivery.. They booked delivery for me for a day that I had to change so I can take a day off work so I can be at home when the parcel arrives.. Was very excited about the fact that could take the day off work and book what time my parcel can arrive.. My parcel was supposed to arrive between 15:15 and 16:15.. At 15:30 I saw a dpd van outside my house, the drive went at the back of the van for few mintes and the drove away and left.. I said to myself maybe he has to deliver to someone else and he'll come back.. So I waited until 16:15 and no parcel so I decided to track my parcel online and surprise.. My parcel was delivered and someone has signed for it.. So I decided to call customer service to see what happened.. And after waiting for more than half hour for someone to answer a consultant finally answered and he said that he can't get in touch with the driver but he will raise an investigation and it will take around 3 to 5 days for a response and on top of that I have to call dunelm to tell them about the lost parcel and that they can't refund me the delivery fee and can't offer me any compensation for the time that I waisted.. So strongly not recommend dpd.. You might end up waisting your time and your money...

So she was at DPD when they were OK and has now managed the total demise and lack of credibility of DPDs customer and delivery with it's unreliability, dishonesty and appalling, rude, aggressive and dishonest customer services!!!. Who exactly is her boss then ?? Talk about loosing touch !!

This company lost my parcel a month ago This company lost my parcel valued a £200 3 weeks ago and have just left me hanging. I have had to spend so much time contacting them just to get nowhere, Despite being patient and waiting first for 3-5 days then another 7-10 days nothing progresses. The onus is always on me to contact them first. My latest convesation today was with Gladys the webchat (again) I was told the lost parcel was still in the investigation stage (4 weeks after sending) How long do their processes take to play out for gods sake !! I have resolved myself to the fact that if I leave it I will never hear from them again. I just wanted to send a parcel to someone before christmas using a company who by all accounts deliver parcels I am now £200 out of pocket which I know I'll never see back and have had the hassle and the constant niggle over the last 3 weeks that the situation is unresolved and on going....like the torture of a dripping tap.

Reading these reviews must make DPD proud that they are getting it so right - where do they recruit their management 'team' from? As for their customer services management ('Tourettes Team') they should be thrown back on the pile. It is hard to understand how a company this bad and with such an awful reputation and attitude towards their clients can survive. If you respect yourself, your property and your business more than DPD obviously don't then you would do best to avoid them.

Another farce with DPD today - 'out for delivery' and then 'hasn't left depot' and then 'parcel lost' 'excuses' (LIES) - tried to talk to a manager - but they make this impossible and really don't want to talk to their customers. DPD are dishonest and completely incompetent. I have used Amazon for 5 years with over 100 parcels a year and had one failure which was filled up with an apology and immediate refund. I have bought from suppliers using DPD 10 times this year and have only had 1 satisfactory delivery on time - says it all. I will not buy from any company that uses DPD from now on as it is much too stressful and frustrating to see just how bad they are and to waste my time and money chasing them to provide the 'service' they are trusted with (by some). DPD must be the worst delivery service ever and certainly the most dishonest and disinterested.
