Abysmal Service. A delivery made when we were not in was taken back to the local depot. The now.dpd.co.uk website to arrange redelivery was down for the entire time following (a message appearing saying please try again later). After 4 days of being told to try again later, they sent the package back to the original sender.

I was expecting a parcel yesterday, I wasn't going to be home, so I asked for it to be delivered to a neighbour. It wasn't. I called and they said they asked the driver to go back and deliver to a neighbour. He didn't. It was rebooked today to be delivered to a neighbour again. They said I wasn't at home (DUH!), and that's been sent to my "nearest" shop, which is half hour walk from my house. Now I'm trying to call but I only get an automated message re my specific parcel, and it's saying that it's going to be delivered again tomorrow. Every single time I get something delivered with this company I have problems. Every. Single. Time. -- Now I'm calling and I only get an automated message because my phone number has been logged into their system re my parcel. I cannot talk to ANYONE at this company. -- I have messaged them on Facebook. They've read my messages and I have received no answer.

My parcel was due to arrive "next working day". On the day, I got a text saying I'd receive a one hour window. The text never arrived and neither did the parcel. Not the first time this has happened to me with DPD, they are a pathetic excuse for a company. The inconvenience they must cause to so many people on a daily basis across this country must be huge. In future, when I order anything, I will check which courier company they use. If it's DPD, I'll shop elsewhere (even if I have to pay more for the item).

32320824 note from driver, back tomorrow with your parcel. Parcel number 15505359817878. waited in for parcel, Driver delivers parcel to house four doors down. Turns out it was their parcel not mine. Confronted driver about mistake, he completely denied it was him from day before. Then I pointed cctv camera to him and he still denied he had got it wrong. what ever happened to apologies. Hello, thanks for the PM. One of the team will be with you as soon as possible to help with your query. Please make sure you have provided your parcel number. If your query is not parcel related then please provide as much detail as possible. No reply as yet, am I surprised. OAP Chat conversation end Type a message...

I certainly won't be using DPD again. Firstly their 'Drop Off Shops' apparently won't accept parcels over a certain size (which is not stated anywhere on the DPD site or the specific shop's site) So I wasted £10 on taxi fares and half an hour of my time having to go there and back. I then requested a collection from my house at a higher price and after waiting for an hour during my allotted time period the driver never showed up. The support guy had no explanation for this, refused to offer me any compensation and refused to escalate this issue to a manager. I'm incredibly disappointed, as is my dad who was supposed to receive this parcel for Father's Day. Needless to say I will now be taking my business elsewhere. Avoid DPD!

They said they would deliver it on Thursday, and would send a text message. I got nothing until Friday afternoon, they said they would deliver on Saturday. I was not going to be home on Saturday, so I asked them to leave it at the rear porch in a safe place, with detail of the safe place. When I got home there was a card saying they could not deliver because I was not home!!! They delivered on Monday when i was home, after "discussions" with the courier, it turns out that he does not know the difference between "rear porch" and "front porch". This terminology is an actual option on the website, so you would expect the couriers would be at least trained to that level of English!!!! Will never be able to buy anything from Redbubble or any other site that uses this courier again!

I am so incredibly disappointed with this shipping service. I ordered something from Selfridges in the UK to be delivered to Croatia and we are STILL waiting for the delivery 11 days later. Selfridges assured me of delivery on 10th of June, but somehow the date was changed along the way to 14 June. DPD SAID they tried to deliver the parcel last Friday but "no one was there to accept delivery" which is a complete and utter LIE as the recipient was at the house ALL day waiting for the delivery. AND they have the phone number for the recipient and never called him. If they had called, they would have known he was there and waiting. We are waiting with interest to see if it will be delivered today. It better be! To make matters worse, this is a birthday gift for the recipient that is now 6 days late (and chocolate no less which will be a melted mess due to this ridiculously long shipment process). I've already had my say to Selfridges about this debacle. What an absolute disgrace!

Hi, Dpd is a (unregulated) blackmailer and lying courier company. Dpd has lost my parcel and has been constantly telling 3 different people. 3 different lies, First one told that the label is not printed, second one told that its in enfield and third one one said ignore the first 2 they can't locate the parcel. THEY WILL NEVER GOING TO ACCEPT THAT THE PARCEL HAS BEEN LISTED. SINCE I WAS EMAILING THERE CEOs (Dwain mcdonald and other board members) they first threatened me to blacklist my email address because i was constantly chasing them as I was running short of time and I knew that they have lost my parcel which they never confirmed. I can't accept that not printing the label could be an excuse for not delivering because one day prior i was on 37 minutes and the lady confirmed(recd email confirmation) that your parcel will be arriving on 12th June. At 11 am after no updates i called them and then there lies and threats started. At 12.45 someone from executive threatening and blackmailing team called and asked to stop chasing them for your parcel and she will look into it and will get back to me in 30 minutes. Which again I didn't rwceive any reapone unless I started chasing the Ceo again. Ad then she told me that they couldn't locate the depot which few minutes ago their another colleague Scott confirmed that my parcel is in Enfield. They knew that I was at work because I disclosed them they made this thing up and since I couldn't speak to depot there wasn't any ways to confirm before I leave. So i started chasing them to find any updates apart from hearing that they are looking in which they have been looking last 2. 5 hrs. And at 4.30 they called me to say that my address has been black listed but the true story is they spent the whole day in "locating my parcel" and they couldn't find it. I was supposed to be handing over that parcel to some going back home my father's day present and they have messed up everything and instead of delivering the parcel they will black list your address if you will ask them. I am not sure just dpd is unregulated so they can think they can take consider customer as a joke. I am going to ombudsman and consumer advic3 beaurau to remind them they operate in Uk and not tnazania where there is dictatorship and you cannot ask for your property which you have lost/stolen and the customer has to pay for it. They don't care whether your courier is a fathers day present or for any other ocassion once they have lost it they will apply blackmailing and blacklisting techniques due to which you can't purchase from the seller again. Even if i purchased the tablet for my old man again from samsung I wouldn't be able to present him on his birthday and just becuase they know they will threat and black mail customers rather than accepting responsibility. Had they accepted my parcel is lost i could have taken action but after 4.30 I couldn't do anything. It was a simple transaction. I ordered a product Nd they were supposed to deliver and they have made an absolute mess of this simple transaction. I would urge people not to use dpd at all these guys are scammers and liars and please email there CEO mark dwain to let him know about all the malpractices and scam that they are running. Also you guys can find dispute on resolver to take action against dpd. I am also contacting newspaper publishers to make them aware of all these bad reviews (52% of 30,000) which mean 15000 customers have been victim just on Uk Trust pilot and below are other links where customers have been charged extra, delayed delivery, lost parcel, blackmailed or haven't received agreed services. On Reviews.io out 1,743 93.86% gave them bad reviews. On complaints department . co . uk they have 130 complaints where the customers were over charged, delivery delaye, parcel lost. Here are the links of all the kind of complaints: https://uk.trustpilot.com/submitted/review?correlationid=3bf57d50-6d9e-4444-b135-88fc9784fc9a https://www.complaintsdepartment.co.uk/dpd-uk/ Never ever have I witnessed this kind of delivery service from any other company in UK. Absolutely pathetic. Muhammad

We paid for next day delivery, driver came to the end of the lane took a picture of the street sign drove off, this happed twice. Message on the app said we were not home and a card had been put through the door. Complained to DPD nothing happens. When complained to the suppliers DPD gave them completely different story! Avoid at if at all possible this behaviour is driven from the top down.

Don’t ever use this company. Nothing but lies. Lied by customer service saying they would deliver up to 10pm only to find out it is 7.30pm. Told the driver had broken down. Yeah right, that’s the second time in a row they have used that excuse. Got a message on the app to say they could not deliver as no one to sign at 8pm and they left a card. All lies as we were waiting in all day. Worse courier ever.

Driver did everything in his power. Lovely, polite guy. But customer service in India was appalling. Could have rectified in the situation in minutes by having local depot number, instead 2 hours of pointless calls and lies

The driver gave me a call in order to ask me where he could park the van in order to download 12 packages of 25 kg each. My order was a plastic box and a chopping board so he obviously had the wrong details. Never heard again from them and the status in the website was changed to “refused”. I called them to rearrange for the same day as I had taken a day off for this and they offered me to pick another day. The person on the phone was trying to convince me that I had refused something that I had bought… Later on the call they realised that the order was sent to a different place. I then arrange for the next day, needless to say that again there was not a guaranteed timeslot for delivery. On the following day I got an email from them saying that due to unforeseen reasons the package was delayed and was going to arrive a day later. Please steer clear of this people or any shop that uses their services.

4hrs later the latest update is that Saira confirmed that you couldn't locate my parcel in depot and to hide from the blame they have blacklisted my address. What a proper scam in the name of delivery service. So a new update has been made that my address has been blacklisted and I wouldn't be delivering a parcel anymore. So when a customer chase for the parcel reminds DPD of there sole job which is to deliver parcel the customers email addresses get blocked. I just received a new threat from Saira that my emails will be blocked. Instead of wasting time on blocking my emails locate the parcel and deliver it. Rather then threatening the customers do your job. And I've dealt with bullying company's like you previously. I promise untill I don't get my parcel I will constantly email your leadership team. You guys think that only DPD can make customer life miserable and after all your cockups apologizing is the only solution. Well it didn't work this time. I will keep on creating new email every hour untill I don't get my parcel. Muhammad

SOUTHWARK DEPOT MANDELA WAY! Delivery expected on the 06/06/19 delivery never came... told for 1 week it would be coming every day it never surfaced even though we've taken time off of work and lost 6 days wages. Today 11/06/19 we were told the driver came and couldn't deliver (massive block of flats big sign outside big silver buzzer system can't be missed) my partner then goes to the dept to collect the parcel and has to wait 3 hours as they refuse to hand it over!!! Contact the sender who emails them to hand over the parcel still no parcel surfaces!! SOME ONE AT THIS DEPOT IS A THIEF OBVIOUSLY!! We've then stated ok we shall call the police and wait here and then they find the parcel but now some how can't find the email even though it was sent directly to the deopt manager from the sender..... so still no parcel. Will be contacting trading standards and consumer rights as obviously our brand new I phone has been stolen by someone at the depot and their colegues must know of this scam or why would it be so covered up!!

DPD customer services absolutely useless. We have an account with DPD currently (not for much longer hopefully). They are incapable of following delivery instructions, customer services promise deliveries that do not happen. Depot's do not follow instructions or requests, hold parcels for days because the right person is not working that day (for 4 days) to re-asign a delivery. You log a formal complaint and receive a totally useless reply with incorrect information. My suggestion to any company looking to employ a courier company is to avoid DPD at all costs.

The driver, Attila, was the most rude and unhelpful courier I have ever come across. I had reversed my car up to the entrance gate so that he would be able to put the relatively heavy parcels I was expecting into the back of my car. When he arrived, I beeped the horn and waved (I am in a wheelchair and could not get out of the car on the narrow lane) but Attila proceeded straight to the outbuildings where he dropped the parcels. By the time I had reversed around the corner to ask why on earth he had done that when I was clearly waiting for him, he just shrugged his shoulders, said ‘too late’ and walked off. I am unable to lift these parcels myself from the wheelchair and will now have to get somebody else to help me get them to their destination. I am amazed that this man is allowed to deal with the general public on DPD’s behalf with his nonchalant attitude. I am extremely unimpressed and hope to never see him again.

This is a long line of problems with DPD. Firstly, if you are a retailer that uses DPD reading this I will no longer deal with them. Anyway, they delivered a parcel of mine 250 miles away from where I live and as a result decided to send me a gesture of good will, not surprisingly, they have lost it! Avoid like the plague!
