The parcel was next day delivery. Their online system said a delivery slot would be allocated at 11am. I logged in at 11am to find the delivery was attempted at about 9am. I was offered a drop off at Johnsons the cleaners the next day so I booked that. I logged back in the next day and it said I will get a pickup time once the parcel arrives at the pickup point which will be around 12 noon. I logged in at 11am and found the delivery was now moved to next Monday. DPD decided the parcel was too big for Johnsons so rather then delivering there or to the original address they kept it in the warehouse for another 3 days. DPD have the most useless system avoid them and save yourself 5 days of frustration and anger. Don't bother paying for next day - it can take many days or even a week.

Terrible service for this company which I will never use again. Dropped two parcels off at a drop off shop for next day service. Customers called to complain that they have not received their parcels. Its now been ten days since I dropped them off and they tell me after calling that they never got picked up and are still sat in the shop. Absolute Joke

THE WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD. Was promised delivery on 24/12/19 van went straight past my house then said i wasnt in when in fact they had gone to the wrong address. Got no help from depot was told it would be delivered again on 27/12/19 it was not. Got a 1hr delivery slot this morning 31/12/19 van went straight past again and i caught up with driver trying to deliver to the wrong address again but a different one to last time. Finally got my parcel smashed and unuseable i have cancelled future orders rather than have DPD deliver them. I also ordered a phone off Vodafone and cancelled because they use DPD.

The big mystery of 2019 is how this company didn't go out of business. Worst courier I have ever experienced.

I ordered a delivery for my wife, it was supposed to be delivered Saturday 27/12, the usual email confirmed beforehand. nothing happened checked track my parcel stated date had been changed due to my request- no such request. Received another email staying it would be delivered 30/12 again no delivery - track my parcel still at depot. Had a go at the on line chat probably better response out of the local cemetery . received a call from dpd local depot somebody had changed the label from Saturday to Monday but nobody at the depot knew why or why it wasn't delivered today . phoned the company I placed the order with and in the end ended up with their director of customer services for UK and USA. This was because one of their managers had telephoned DPD who informed them that my parcel had been delivered to the local dpd drop of point and I didn't need a pass code just some id as the parcel is waiting to be collected. Off I went no parcel so clearly not only happy to joe public but their major account customers as there was no parcel been delivered got a refund of the company ordered with and one of dpd major account customers not very happy about being lied to why cant there be an option for 0 stars 1 star means they are not 100% useless

Horrible company! 2 parcels missing, rang to see where they was, apparently with a neighbor even tho I did not say to leave them there, no note left ow and I was at home which he knew as he did delivery 1 parcel to me and left the other 2. Bearing in mind when he did knock he rang the bell and punched the door, sounded like he was trying to break in! So I went knocking on doors, in the freezing cold, nothing. Rang back, they said someone would call me back that day, no one did. Next day I rang back as still no parcels (and this was xmas eve) no one knew where they was, but the customer service, Joseph, though it was a good idea to HANG UP ON ME!!! So rude, I was fuming! Rang back ofcourse, no one cared, manager was meant to call back that day, no one did. Week later finally get a call, said I want a written apology, in short words, she said maybe! I said how much stress they've caused me, but didnt care, just said my tone was upsetting her and that if that's how I spoke to Joseph that's why he hung up. VILE! No one should be hung up on, he was saying stuff that wasnt true to me, not listening etc. So doing a terrible job, as for her today, again wasnt listening to me. If she dont listen to people, dont give them respect and are rude then dont exspect them to be nice back, that's not how it works. DONT USE THEM!!!

DPD failed to deliver a violin I purchased on eBay and will not tell me where it is! I purchased a violin on ebay. I paid the seller to pay DPD to deliver it. I have been charged for it and have repeatedly asked DPD where it is. They refuse to tell me. They say they can only deal with the seller, The seller says that he can't find out where it is from DPD! Ebay tells me they believe me but cannot issue a refund until DPD admits they delivered to an unsafe place. The photo DPD present of its delivery is not of anywhere in my building. I am told they have no signature for its receipt. DPD write that they believe I have not received it. I remain out of pocket and with no violin. Never trust DPD. And never trust ebay! This is dreadful and shameful customer service.

Driver was due by 6pm on Monday. Rang on Tuesday to see where it was. Driver "ran out of time" so it wont be delivered till Friday. I've seen better delivery from a carrier pigeon

I was in my kitchen when Colin the delivery guy arrived. He plainly was in a hurry and as I was obviously at home with lights on and whether he knocked I do not know but I have two dogs and live in a two up two down so having made sure I was home I was seriously irritated that he couldn’t be bothered to try to make himself heard or come to the back door. What a waste of his time and mine not to say the diesel to come back. How about using some common sense?

I wouldn’t recommend using dpd just been to pick up my new iPad from ee and they told me a bank card and driving licence isn’t enough ID to collect the item and then gave me attitude saying I should collect it from an ee shop instead like I have nothing better to do so I wouldn’t use Middleton dpd depot to collect any items

On Friday 20 December (2019) waiting for my parcel at home. Receiving email that driver (Name Jeroslavs) could not find anyone so left calling card. I do not have the card, no one called to my door. Talking to on line chat 20 mins after receiving email. Saying to DPD that parcel is very important, so I am happy to collect it at collection point if the driver could leave it there today. DPD assistant says that driver will come back to my flat at 4pm today and will try to deliver again. No one came that day , despite sitting all day at home and waiting for my parcel. And having no possibility to collect it myself. On Monday (23 December) receiving message that my parcel will be delivered today. Sitting at home and waiting. In few hours receiving message that no one was at home!!!! AGAIN! The same driver name Jeroslavs could not deliver my parcel!!! Very disappointing especially that I am okay to collect the parcel myself!

I have consistent problems with DPD. This year whilst using the company Hello Fresh for weekly deliveries, the driver kept dumping my parcel in the street despite me being home to take receipt of it so I ended up cancelling my subscription- all because of the delivery company. Today, one of my Christmas presents which wasn’t a cheap by was actually delivered to the wrong street. I live in a street with multiple tenements each containing between 8-12 flats. Got a picture confirming the delivery was left at “flat 6” and a picture of a stairwell that definitely isn’t mine (the walls were red, mine are blue). Still waiting for DPD to confirm where they delivered it even though I have since located the parcel myself, entirely by luck, by posting on my local “Nextdoor” website. Was left two streets away!

Ordered a delivery through Asos over two weeks ago... still nothing..dpd have been useless over the Christmas period. The stupidest thing is that when you call an autonWd voice says they’ll try and deliver some items early and try again on the intended delivery date if you’re not in as if that’s going to help! What about people who ordered items weeks ago for Christmas and haven’t heard a peep! Rubbish. Meanwhile, ordered something from amazon that was actually sent from Madrid and it arrives within two days no hitches... sort it out, this is your whole business value that you aren’t delivering yet amazon can deliver no hitches 🤔

Because I was going to be out for delivery of my parcel I requested that they leave it behind plant pots on porch. Got home, card saying it had been delivered. Looked for parcel, no parcel. Rang DPD, they said it had been delivered and the driver had taken a photo of my front door and the parcel behind pots. I argued to no avail that the parcel wasn't there. They closed me down. Next day a lady from a different street came to my house with my parcel. I thanked her for her honesty. She could have kept it. When I looked at photo driver had taken of my front door as proof, it wasn't my door at all!! Her road name is in no way similar to mine. Dpd drivers need to learn to read! I have told the company I ordered from that if they value their customers not to use these cowboys anymore. Bad company!!
