Marks comments below are spot on and they seem to make no effort whatsoever to engage with their customers. They are anonymous and unaccountable . They are dishonest and incompetent. They are rude and confrontational. DPD do not deserve your custom and they do not deserve to survive. One of the worst and most cynical companies I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Avoid at all costs and avoid companies who use them

I ordered a violin on 22/11/2018 next day delivery (23/11/2018) for my son's birthday. DPD "tried" to deliver but to the wrong address! The reality being that they tried to deliver to the first house that remotely resembled my address. After much complaining they sent me an email assuring me that it would be delivered today (24/11/2018). They then sent me another email thanking me for requesting to change the delivery address to Monday 26th. This message also said it would be delivered to the first address they tried, and not my address. I made no such request, they are lying. Just how inept can one company be? Hiding behind a faceless website, making it very difficult to talk to anyone, enables them to operate in a completely unprofessional way with zero regard for their customers. Their sheer size enables them to get away with this. Trying top get any sort of meaningful dialogue started is like talking to a pre-school child.

Shocking incompetent poor excuse for customer services CAN YOU TELL ME WTAF WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE ?? They should have delivered my Apple watch but ended up sending me someone else's brand new apple watch from Sky, estimated value over £900!. Based on the label of the package, someone at DPD put my address details over the top of an existing order!! How is this possible? If you had any idea how to correctly tracks goods your staff should not be allowed to change labels, a simple barcode system would avoid it. Luckily I am an honest person and returned the package back to the collection point. Hopefully Sky will read this review and see how poorly Managed and incompetent company this is. As my watch was still missing, received another message yesterday saying my package had arrived and I need to collect again. Arrived again at the collection depo and guess what, no package to collect, what a complete waste of my time again. Case has been raised DPD and I have not received an apology or any feedback as to the location of my watch. Ladies and gentlemen, based on my experience this company it is useless, please avoid at all costs.

Absolute bullcrap of a company. Until recently I thought this was one of the few decent delivery companies left, I was so wrong. On my latest delivery the driver Michal was supposed to deliver my parcel between 13:06 and 14:06 - NO ONE even attempted to knock or ring and I was standing in the kitchen right next to the door the whole time. I took a day off work for that s**t. The driver allegedly left photo online of the card which he left and the photo is completely black?!?!?!. Their customer service line makes you wait for the automated message to repeat 11 times before it gives you an option to speak to a human and then their manager pre-recordedly warns you not to be angry at them?? Well F*** you and f*** you in the a*s for losing my time and being unprofessional s*its, ok? F***. You.

Sack all the managers and start again...as for Customer Services - whoever is in charge of this lot must be retarded - how have they got the nerve to tell customers not to get angry and abusive on their recorded message when this is all that they do after your 40 minute wait to get through....This department should be closed and rather than just infuriate the customer with their total lack of respect and efficiency. They are clearly parrots of a very badly thought out (or maybe no thought ??!) 'system' and are an utter disgrace!! I will not be using DPD again or any company that uses them for their deliveries.

If there was no stars I would have chosen that option. Anyone message to you: avoid like a fire... Not only they are loosing the parcels, there is no communication, they simply sending it back to trader saying they could not deliver ( no calling cards or any info re delivery attempt). Rubbish customer service: obviously nobody can do anything...I am not really sure how they dare to call themselves " delivery company"...

Wife was expecting a parcel at home. We left instruction to leave in the porch if not in. Later that day, no sign of anything. No card. Went online to the "tracker" to find it said "could not deliver". hmmm... OK... never mind. We then rearranged online to have it delivered to my work address then next day. Next day I tracked the parcel online and it said that it would be delivered between 3:35pm and 4:35pm. 4:35pm came and went. I went to our post room.. nothing. I went to the building reception who advised that they did see a PDP van came right by and out the other side of the car-park. Obviously the driver missed the sign saying "reception". So back to home address tomorrow... third time lucky. Not very good are they ?!

Broken promises, poor customer service and now, 3 days from when DPD first messaged me that my package was to arrive it still hasn't. The fact that your CX teams continually couldn't reach the depot or driver and then lied that the depot would be in touch within 2 hours compounded things. As did the 45 mins hold times. Your chatbot "livechat" is embarrassingly bad as is your recorded message from your customer services director asking for customers not be be abusive on the phone. You have abused me by wasting three days of my week waiting in during times you have advised. For anyone reading this, if you purchase something from a retailer and you get an alert that the retailer is using DPD, contact them immediately and ask them to send it via regular post or another carrier. Their service is an embarrassment and should not be used either by an individual or a business.

My last experience was outrages , I received a message that my parcel was delivered and I signed for the parcel which is not true. I rang DPD and lady from customer service was very helpful and asked sender of the parcel to get in touch , which they did. They were told that I signed for the parcel and goods were delivered. Tracking message on the website claims that calling card was left ( which is incorrect) and then one hour later I signed for the parcel which is not true as I was at work ! Plus location showing as delivery is in a different town where depot office is located so I haven't received my parcel and company I ordered from kindly reissued the order at own expense. This absolutely outrages.

I will NEVER use this company again or any supplier that uses them. They are the most unreliable, dishonest and ignorant company ever. Their management is the pits. They are confrontational and show no respect to their customers or their property. Their customer services is absolutely useless and just insulting. DPD do not deserve your business and any supplier using them will lose credibility and custom - be warned and avoid !!

actually sick of one of the drivers that delivers to my area. always has a bad attitude, bangs the door as if he's tough, and leaves the parcels on the front porch in eye's view. Recently left boxes of my stock for my business on the front porch which is on the main road where a lot of thefts take place. He always looks like he's in a bad mood working, so just do him a favour and us and get rid of him.

Worst delivery company ever, Requested that the parcel be delivered to my neighbor as i was at work. Then get a text saying unable to deliver When i check online the driver has uploaded a picture of him ringing my door buzzer. On top of that waiting 15+minutes to speak to someone and even then no one answered DPD needs to sort there drivers out, no point giving the customers the opportunity to request an alternative delivery option if its not going to happen im fuming!!! and have no faith that the clown will even attempt to deliver to the correct address. oh how pissed he will be as im going to confront him about it as i just so happen to be off tomorrow

Package finally arrived today, four days late. The delay actually began with a false statement from DPD that I'd requested a "change of delivery address". Of course, I'd made no such request, and other people on this page have already recounted their experiences with this company's dishonesty. A tip. Don't waste time complaining to DPD. If you've ordered via Amazon, complain directly to Amazon and let them take it up. This worked for me. A further tip. Specify to any future vendor that if they intend using DPD, they should consider your order null, void and cancelled. Money talks, and word gets round eventually. Have courage. This outfit won't be in business much longer.

Dpd told me today that they’ve misplaced/lost my daughters 18th Birthday present. Then to top it off weren’t prepared to phone my local depot to give me an update and told me I’d get a response in 3-5 days. Do not use this delivery company, they do not take care of the items they carry nor do they care about the people sending or receiving them!!! Appalling

Absolutely useless and breathtakingly rude. First delivery they ignore the 'where to leave the parcel' information. Knowing I would be out the following day I fixed instructions to the front door. That was ignored. Customer service refused to answer my call. Found the depot at Southampton and met with the rudest man possible. Apparently it must have been my fault they couldn't deliver. Could not pick up parcel as I did not have an appointment. Returned having made an appointment. Two 36 mile trips later I eventually get my parcel. How are they still in business?
