“4 days in a row of "attempted delivery but driveway was blocked" I don't have a drive way and have been home waiting for the delivery. How this company is still in business is beyond me”
“Woeful service. Have just had 2 messages on consecutive days staying Evri attempted to deliver but couldn’t access driveway/front door. This is total fabrication as have clear access to both driveway & front door, and have been at home on both days when the delivery was allegedly attempted. The customer service ‘virtual’ chat is completely inadequate and an automated message just repeats what the ‘chat ‘ assistant states. Pointless!!!!! Just reinforces the message that we should all buy local & not rely on delivery companies!!”
“Terrible business. They never deliver on time in my experience. The last two packages have been thrown into my garden over a fence. This is dispute the fact I am at home and gave clear instructions to knock the front door. My heart sinks every time I buy online and then find out the seller is using Evri. I now don't buy from sellers using this courier and will cancel my order if I later find out they are. I can never get through to their customer services when I have had issues which in fact is nearly every time. They are an utter shambles and the industry regulator needs to stop them!!!! Not fit for purpose.”
“Parcel delivered to my workplace when closed. Courier states left in "safe place" and photo of parcel made to look like it was posted through letterbox. Arrived to work to find parcel on doorstep as box too big to go through the letterbox. There was nearly £100 worth of items in it. It would be obvious that the delivery address was an office.
Tracker states delivery by 17.30 when my office closes but delivered 18.58.”
“Every time a seller says they're using Evri, my heart sinks. I have another parcel lost in limbo somewhere in a depot. Its been there a few days apparently. Should have been 48 hour delivery. Why do people keep using them? They're not that cheap either!”
“They miss every single delivery time slot, six months ago they never missed a delivery now with new driver it is every parcel. The new driver just does not care about the product or service provided. In my honest opinion Evri have dropped from five stars six months ago to a zero rating now. Missed deliveries and damaged goods are almost guaranteed. How a company can fail so fast is beyond me.”
“When these follow up replies or emails say " Claire/ Becky/Nikki' what they actually mean is Abdul, Muhammed & Nisha. Rubbish call centre staff overseas. And a load of FAKE 5* reviews . Lost a perfume at new year then Nike trainers. How suspicious. Couriers & warehouse thst steal. Where do the alleged lost items go . Liars.”
“God dam useless company , rebranding didn't help, they were bad before no better now. Thurs 23/1/25 message received. Customer not in unable to deliver, I was in no one rung or knocked, Fri 24/1/25, new message. Parcel handed to customer, WELL IT WASNT, tried calling the so called customer service line, its all a lie on their Web site, no one answers your call the automated system just shuts you down, had to do a Web chat, they are still looking into it and asked me to contact the seller, Did see a mice picture though of the guys trainers next to my parcel out side the main entrance to my flats, he didnt even entre the premises. Move on to Monday 27/1/25 had arranged some parcels to be picked up,with printed delivery slips from the company they were going to, only to get a message later that day to say I wasn't in, wtf, does anyone arrange things and then not be in, tried to call again, no joy there, Tuesday got a message to say they would pick up that day, tried to contact them again to say I would not be in, and to rearrange but the Web chat doesn't give you that option and then sends a message to say you have cancelled, we'll no I didn't, I have sent numerous messages via there chat, the we will get back to you in 24hrs, again a lie. I have also downloaded all the correspondence and sent to the company who are expecting my parcels, in the hope that they won't use them again, it is totally impossible to talk to a person to resolve your issue which would relive your frustration, all the other company's manage ok I never have a problem with DHL, DPD always on time and on the day. Their web system only works in their favour not the customers”
“The parcel supposed to be delivered on the 13th of Jan but this wasn’t the case the tracking said “delivered” but it has been changed to “unable to deliver”after another two weeks of waiting I decided to contact Evri customer service I had initial reply from them reassuring me the parcel will be on the way within two days but this wasn’t not the case then another email from Evri saying they will do everything what possible to get my parcel on the right track after waiting 3 days no further reply from Evri nor parcel .This is very unprofessional approach to customers never again”
“Very poor company I stay in all day as I was told parcel out for delivery between 11am and 1pm but i think it has been stolen by driver used be call hermes but done rebrand as it such a bad company thr worse parcel company I will let police know about this”
“The delivery man did not wait until I was at my door, he threw my parcel over my back garden fence where he could visibly see that a dog was loose. The parcel has been ripped apart. When I opened the door and asked the delivery driver why he threw the package over the fence he told me he wasn't going to wait for me to open the front door, he then got in his car and swore at me through his windshield. Not just rude but childish and unprofessional. Worst delivery driver I've ever came across.”
“Unless can't call you back takes numerous attempts to deliver parcel to a locker says its delivered when it's not . Refuses to call you on basis of no address provided. Absolute disgrace of a company . A customer should be able to call 24/7 and talk to a person not get a so called call back within 24 hours that never happens”
“It's not the first time, but there's always an issue with parcels whilst in transit ?????. From experience, I know they have damaged the item, so now I have to wait anther 48hrs. I'm guessing that's so they can quickly replace it. Not happy at all with service claiming its being held another 48hrs as its a large item. No it isn't, it's a 25-30cm wire with a small connecter block. How is that large.”
“I had a parcel put at my gate this morning. This is the 3rd time this has happened anyone walking past could have lifted it. All he had to do was open my gate and walk to my front door. That's just lazy”
“Their Customer Service is absolutely a waste of time and effort; the chat service is useless and they don't answer your query via telephone i.e an actual human being! I can honestly say, they don't give a s***!”
