“I would say the customer service is bad, but it’s non-existent! The tracking informed me my parcel was to be delivered yesterday between 12-1, but 11:06 they cancelled with no explanation. I’ve had no updates since then, despite trying to contact them numerous times, your only option is AI bot, or automated phone call. Hopeless. How are they still in business?”
“Terrible Service from Evri - Be Warned!
I'm extremely disappointed with Evri service. Initially, when we provided our home address, they would either throw our packages outside or take them back. This time, we opted for locker delivery, but issues arose again. They delivered the package to the locker but didn't provide us with the barcode. It's been two weeks, and we're trying to contact them, but there's no response. They're neither providing the barcode nor any information.
Temu is emailing us daily to collect our package, but without the barcode, what are we supposed to do? Their service is terrible, there's no customer support, and talking on the phone is pointless. I'm thoroughly dissatisfied with evri's service and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you're considering using evri for packaging and delivery, be cautious!”
“out for delivery Wed, then cancelled saying parcel was large so would have to rearrange, Monday still nothing and no response form Evri even tho a ticket was raised on Friday. Have now contacted supplier to see if they have any joy.”
“I was notified that my parcel had arrived at the locker, but Evri never sent me the QR code needed to claim it. I tried calling customer service, but it was just an automated system that kept hanging up. The “live chat” was no better, just an AI bot that couldn’t handle my query at all.
I urgently needed the package yesterday, but there was no human assistance available, and the parcel is still stuck in the locker. Shockingly, there is nowhere on the website to manually claim a locker code either, an unacceptable failure for a company of this size.
Sadly, despite the rebrand from Hermes to Evri, the poor service standards remain the same. Extremely disappointed.”
“The worst delivery company ever. Our parcel has been with them since April 10th. During that period, it was "delivered" to the parcelshop, four minutes later delayed, and (apparently) delivered again yesterday. God knows where, because our shop doesn't have it. We were advised to check other local shops that deal with Evri in our area, as our parcel might have been dropped off there. No luck. We don't know where the parcel is, who has it, or if it is still with Evri. The chatbox conversation was totally useless. I "spoke" to Ezra today, who said the parcel had been delivered. I then asked for proof of delivery (there is an option), and surprisingly, he was not able to give me any more details about our parcel. We left reviews on Trustpilot and, as everyone else, got automatically generated replies from first Emma and today Karen. What a service! Nothing about Evri is professional. Customer service doesn't exist. Parcels are vanishing and no one knows where they are. Gifts for couriers maybe? So angry and powerless, knowing that they don't care and laugh at people who put their trust in them. We will never purchase anything from businesses using Evri.”
“Lies on their status for delivery, constantly not delivering to my address.
Its a weekly occurance where I have to ask for a refund from the retailer.
And don't start me on their customer care its non existence.”
“They lost a £130 coat. I paid insurance on the delivery. They admitted they lost it but because i cannot provide proof of purchase of the coat. Case closed. I even paid insurance. Never again will i use them to send a parcel.”
“I had several parcels with evri over the past few months. All went ok, with a photo as proof of delivery.
However on this occasion while waiting for my parcel i recieved a text saying my parcel was just delivered.
I can see my street which is in a quiet cul-de-sac and no vehicles had been down it. There also no photo as proof of delivery.
I used the chat bot to report it to be told i team would look into it (48hr te frame)
After 3 days i tried again and it said the team was looking into it. Waited again.
Then i tried the phone number-automated line and left details.
Next day i tried again. Same result.
So now 10 days later i tried again to be told i need to contact the seller to get a refund.
The seller isnt the problem, evri is.
This parcel made it from China to eastern Europe then to Poland and onto britain, only to join the thousands of parcels they lose every day.”
“At my old house the agent was excellent. At this house it’s terrible. I had a pair of homeless pensioners deliver my parcel 2 days after it was out for delivery the other day. Today, it was down for 3:30-4:30pm delivery, guy turns up at 08:52 at night and yells at me to keep the dog back. As tempting as it was to send my attack shitzu to maul him to maul him to death, somehow I resisted!! I won’t buy from a company that use evri now.”
“This man who delivers for EVRI assaulted me. He works as a courier in HULL delivering on the BRANSHOLME AREA. I previously had him on cctv several times throwing my parcels on the floor & kicking them towards my door. I asked him to stop doing it & he threw the parcel directly at my heavily pregnant stomach. I had to go to the hospital to get an emergency ultrasound as the parcel was quite large & heavy. I have reported him & his conduct to the police as well as EVRI, but EVRI have ignored every email. So I have gone to the CEO of Evri & I’m awaiting his response. I’m stunned that Evri have ignored me & the fact they’ve continued to allow this man to work for them after I sent them the evidence of his actions. I will make sure that he is sacked for his actions you cannot go around assaulting pregnant women because she asked for him to stop kicking her parcels around.”
“Evri informed me via email they "had" my parcel and would let me know when it's out for delivery. After 10 days, I contacted evri through their chat to see when would they actually deliver my parcel. Of course I got nowhere with the chatbot, asking the simple question, when will I get my parcel? The following day, I received an email from evri, informing me that my parcel was being returned. This apparently was the result of their customer support after asking "when will I get my parcel?". I then had to contact the place I had ordered from, and sure enough when they looked it up, evri were returning my order back to them with no reason given. I had to contact evri about 6 months ago, after they "had" my parcel for over two weeks. The customer service is brutal, their online chat is useless and you simply cannot get talking to an actual person. Their delivery service is so bad, I'm confused as to why businesses choose them... If it's a case that their prices are competitive, surely at this stage, it's not cost effective anymore due to evri's incompetence. I dread seeing evri as the courier when I order online..”
“Within the last 7 days Evri left 2 parcels on my doorstep in full view of passers by and wide open to theft, just an e mail to say they had been delivered, the second parcel I was at home and nobody knocked on the door, no card through the door. If I had been away anywhere overnight these parcels would have vanished. Starting now I will ask eBay sellers if they use Evri and if they offer no other courier service I won't buy from them.”

“Shocking service, one minute a message arrives stating parcel is arriving then sorry we can’t make it today. Then on and on it goes rescheduling then cancelling. Then they send a photo stating it’s been delivered with a parcel photographed in a car. I never did receive my delivery after two weeks worth of phone calls, emails and sending photos of my home. When they eventually located my parcel they acknowledged it had been delivered to somebody else.”
“I have had 3 seperate deliveries scheduled with Evri. On each occasion they have failed and told downright lies. On several occasions they have told the vendor that they have attempted to make delivery but could not get access. On each occasion this was a lie. I have waited in all day for the arrival but no one made any attempt.”
