“Avoid Evri at All Costs – Appalling Service and No Accountability
Absolutely dreadful experience with Evri. If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is the absolute worst when it comes to customer service and accountability.
My parcel was apparently “missed off” the delivery round – as admitted by one of their own agents – and I was assured it would arrive the following day. Surprise, surprise… it didn’t. No delivery, no explanation, no apology.
When I tried to follow up, my complaint was completely ignored. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, they sent a generic response thanking me for providing an updated address and delivery instructions – which I never did! It's as if they don’t even read the complaints they receive. Absolutely shameless.
There is no way to hold anyone accountable at this company. It feels like they hide behind faceless bots and scripted replies. They are ruthless, unprofessional, and seem to care very little about their customers or the stress they cause.
Evri is not just unreliable – they’re irresponsible. They are quick to take your money but disappear when something goes wrong. This is a delivery company that fails at the most basic task: delivering.
Do yourself a favour – avoid Evri and use a company that actually delivers on its promises.”
“We have provided foolproof directions on how to reach the delivery address, yet on two occasions they have failed to deliver. Furthermore, when contacted the 'chat helpline' Ezri was less than helpful in locating my parcel, he/she should not be in customer services as they clearly did not help resolve the issue.”
“On their website they said they will attempt delivery 3 times. In my case, they attempt delivery only ONCE and the parcel went straight back to the sender.
They did not give you time of delivery in advance, and they expects you to be in to wait for parcels all day like you have no other place to be at. The entire morning I was looking at the tracking which said "on its way". 10.11am it says "out for delivery" and then 10.14am it says "unable to deliver parcel. We will try again next working day. ". I was out of the house at 10.05am and how do you think I can just magically poof myself back at home within 10 minutes? RIDICULOUS. THE WORST COURIER EVER”

First time my parcel was delivered open which means clearly they took out stuff, second time sent oic with delivery to wrong address. When checked with neighbour they said they told it is not ours so delivery driver took it back, still shows delivered with incorrect pic.”

“Someone needs to tell the drivers to start knocking on front doors when delivering, our delivery driver didn’t, they left the parcel in the back garden, left the gate wide open, whilst our dog was in the garden, my dog escaped and was nearly hit by a car. Luckily the driver slammed the brakes on in time ! I’m absolutely furious that someone would deliberately do this ,clearly not bothered whatsoever for the wellbeing of our dog.”
“'Chat' that is only a bot that doesn't answer your questions, no e-mail address, no phone number, no way to contact them when anything goes wrong with a delivery - which it has. Utterly useless. How they think we are supposed to talk to them I can't imagine.”
“I had to return a parcel for which they charged for door pick up. No one turned up on the said date, but I received a email stating “customer not in home, scheduled for next working day”. No one turned up again and on contacting customer care, they told they are raising incident and would respond immediately. Nothing happened for over a week on raising multiple incidents. Finally they responded saying, “return label expires after 7 days and you need to raise again”. Now they are asking me to pay again. Worst service ever”
“Our driver at NG15 area is beyond rude, useless, foul mouthed, & abusive.
Went out to ask why he never rings the door bell, or knocks. Also asked why he dumps the parcels (sometimes highly valuable items) against the front door, in full view of anyone passing - it’s only a matter of time before something gets stolen. This, after clear instructions have been left, to leave items at the rear of the property, if we aren’t in. Not that he ever checks if anyone is in or not.
When I asked ‘Why don’t you knock or ring the bell?’, he blatantly lied to my face, & claimed he had, despite the fact I was was sat by the door & would clearly have heard him. He then ranted, calling me a ‘dickheaf’ & told me to get a job, as he works to pay my taxes, so I don’t have to work.”
“Once again EVRI screw up!! sitting here over 3 hours waiting for a delivery and the joker of a driver NEVER actually came on banged on the shutter door!! We have THREE security cameras to prove this!!!
Sign at the side of the shutter advising that a door is too the side!! that door is WIDE OPEN!!!
EVRI should be shut down as they are NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!! as a business owner I would NEVER ever use these!!!”

Amazon. only 1 bag was delivered. When asked where the other 2 bags were, the driver was rude, obnoxious and quite threatening.”

“I have had nothing but terrible experiences with Evri. They are, without a doubt, the most unreliable delivery company I've ever encountered. They consistently lie about delivery times and have failed to deliver on time every single time. Their communication is non-existent, and they never take accountability for their delays. If you value your time and expect honest, timely service, avoid Evri at all costs. They're a disaster from start to finish”
