Unfortunately this was a disappointing experience and not worth the money. You reminded me a bit of an insurance company, I.e. Promising much more than you deliver. The lounge was over crowded, limited and average food and the spa was fully booked, despite the fact that we arrived in plenty of time for our flight. This is disappointing enough but when you consider the context - T5 is a modern terminal with a variety of places to sit and many different eating options, if you are to succeed in getting a good reputation you really need to out do those other options. For my next visit to terminal 5 I won't consider this option again, I will simply time the trip differently, enjoy dinner in one of the restaurants and plan on spa treatments at my destination.

Food and drink were fine but: 1. I had to waste several minutes each time I wanted a drink - no staff to serve and no opportunity o serve yourself. 2. Nowhere near enough seating for the numbers in the lounge - we had to wait for people to leave before we could sit down and we had prebooked! 3. The cost is not comparable with most airport lounges. Presumably because you have no competition.

Thought that the temperature was a little cold. Did think that a better selection of breakfast options could of been made. The TV in the booth we were sitting in did not work. Thought the toilets were very clean and the lounge looked very nice. Compared to the lounge at Heathrow I did think Newcastle lacked in many areas. Not sure I would use again for the price paid

We booked for the Aspire Plus for our 8pm flight and when arriving at 5pm we were informed that this lounge was closing in less than an hour. We were told we would have to move into the lower and much busier Aspire lounge with a less calmer atmosphere. We were very disappointed in this as we had paid an extra 50% premium for the Aspire plus, giving us access to it's premium food lagers and spirits Prosecco and cocktails etc. And although the staff did provide us with some of the food, it was in the busier confines of the aspire lounge, without access to the premium drinks, and left us annoyed and frustrated, and not relaxed and refreshed as the website had promised, not a good start to my birthday weekend. If the plus lounge is closing at a specific time then when people book they should be made aware that it closes long before your stated departure time, and not be charged for a premium service that could not be fulfilled.

Extremely difficult to find!!! We went to two separate executive lounges before we were directed to the ' Mastercard' lounge. the food was average to below average, there were cookies and so on from Costco; and the sandwiches had a sameness to their style and quality that did not appeal. The cappuccino machine was broken and no alternative was offered. Frankly, the only good thing about the lounge was the limitless open bar. It was also fairly crowded, in comparison with the other lounges ( which we didn't have tickets for) All in all, I would rate this Montreal lounge as not worth the money

Not very impressed. After paying £70 for us to go in, they had run out of the majority of stuff. Had to go get the ladies on the reception desk to get us some drinks as the staff were just congregating in the back and seemed disinterested in helping, this happened on 3 occassions. Tables were not cleaned. Had to go ask for a cloth ourselves to wipe down the table. Overall not very happy with the staff of the service we received this time. I can't imagine us using this lounge again unfortunately.

The options of food was very poor, a couple of sandwiches, crisps and one option of soup. The bar was not a fully stocked bar and the service was poor. The bar would have a que of people which had to ask a member of staff to serve them before they came out of the back, and one member of staff, a male, stood next to our table with another member of staff and seemed to be extremely rude about either our group or another group of customers, ending his conversation by walking off through the lounge and saying rather loudly 'SKANKS'. Waste of money and I would not return!

Plastic cutlery Limited breakfast selection Very noisy environment with a lot of kids and big families. Prams obstructing walkways. The worst lounge I have visited The only positive was the polite and pleasant gentleman at the front desk. He was superb!

Poor selection of breakfast foods. Bacon rolls luke warm and greasy. Air conditioning made it feel like the inside of a fridge. This when the external temperature was around 12 deg C.

On this occasion I found the service to be poor. Staff not attentive. When I eventually got entry to the lounge I found it untidy, tables not cleared, food on the floor. After an hour in the lounge was asked by staff if I had upgraded, very poor service.

A bit cramped, the toilets far away, just the normal airport toilets, the variety of food on offer poor and all-in-all quite expensive (my 14 year old had to pay an adult price) next time won't bother!!

Over subscribed, not enough food, cutlery or glasses!,customer service of the internal staff should be improved to teach basic manners and politeness. Considering what we paid for access and being a frequent flyer in 2 major airline programmes with lounge access privileges I'd say this is probably the worst lounge I've been in

Began with a long queue entering and to be told to wait by reception while they found a space for us even though we had pre booked. Once entered we were seated in the middle of another group as this was the only space that they could find. Soft drinks machine was out of order and only 1 bottle of beer was left in the fridge and this was not refilled. Food was ok but not a great selection and when plates and cutlery had run out it took an age for them to be replaced. However plates and glasses were removed quickly and efficiently. Unbelievable there was no toilet in the lounge but showers? And we had to use the main airport facilities. Overall not a pleasant experience and certainly not worth the cost.

I booked the lounge for Monday 21st March 2016. We arrived at approx 7.30am as a treat for my husband as it was his birthday on the day we flew out. Unfortunately both of us were very disappointed in the lounge and to be honest I doubt that we will use it again. It was busy and not sure why but there was a distinct shortage of the bacon rolls. There was pastries, cereal, yogurts and beverages available.

Dirty walls and tables combined with a restrictive selection of snacks made this visit a waste of money. Bottle of prosecco was chilled nicely which is the only reason why the rating is two stars, not one.

We found terminal 2 executive lounge a little disappointing. The area itself was small and not very comfortable. The selection of drinks was quite limited. The staff on duty weren't very attentive and were often absent from the bar area. The food on offer was also disappointing. The bacon sandwiches that were left in a self service warmer, appeared not to be fresh and were possibly microwaved. We had to make staff aware that the bacon sandwiches had all been taken before they were restocked. There were no yogurts or fresh fruit available and the pastries were cold and hard. I booked the lounge as a treat for my elderly in laws who were looking forward to making a special start to a long awaited family holiday and therefore did not meet our expectations.
