Dreadful company. I had a collision which was not my fault. Was advised to deal direct with third party in surer which I did. They refused to pay for all the damage, and the dealer who repaired the car did a rubbish paint job. I am now left with a lower value car and a load of stress trying to resolve this. All they did at Quote me Happy is keep sending me elsewhere. Never again

Refer to my emails. Due to the incompetence of staff at Quote me happy or more aptly "quote me unhappy" I was in able to change a policy, I ended up having to go to another insurer. Resulting in me being charged a cancellation fee of £54 and loss of two months insurance. Anyone thinking of going to this company, my advice would be, pay a little extra and get a better service with someone that actually provides support.

Edit my settings Reviews ? Connections Quotemehappy Published 56 seconds ago Do not go near Quote me happy absolutely useless and untrustworthy Took out a multi car policy with the company in October 2015. As I already had one car insured with 6 years no claim I did not have any no claim bonus. It was cheap and I paid the total premium up front. I soon received messages that as I hadn't uploaded my no claims bonus the policy would be cancelled. I contacted them by email and received a response that all was well and that I would not be receiving any more from them in relation to this. Roll forward now to 13th September 2016 when, out of the blue, I received a text message 'Hello David as you haven't uploaded your proof of no claims discount we've cancelled your car insurance policy from 13.09.2016, 23.59. Yours sincerely Quotemehappy.comteam (timed at 16.42) On checking my account I found that I had also been charged £53 early cancellation fee which had swallowed up any refund. I soon found out that there is no phone number advertised to ring and that other than for claims you can only deal with them by way of email. Despite a number of email messages explaining the situation I received replies that did not alter their stance or answer why this had been done at all. I was left uninsured and unable to drive my car without taking out further insurance. I contacted the Ombudsman early on the morning of 15th September. He advised me that the insurance company should deal with the matter. I told him that they wouldn't as they just ignored what I had put in the e-mails. He then advised me that they were part of the AVIVA GROUP and gave me a phone number to ring. I rang them and explained the situation putting in a complaint about the Company. I was told that it could take up to 5 days for someone to contact me about it but she would mark it as urgent. I have now finally received a sensible email from Susan - Quotemehappy.com team 'I'm deeply sorry that your policy was cancelled in an error on our part. We can have this reinstated for you and honour your cover in the meantime if you would like? I apologise for any inconvenience caused. That's the end of the saga so judge for yourself - cheap is not necessarily any good for you. Needless to say I will not be going back to them. Just got to try and get the money back now. Make your own judgement but YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED of the sort of service to expect.

Just wanted to change my address and cover details following temporary move from owned property into rented accommodation. Couldn't do it on website and no help or response from company. Truly useless. If ever there was a more inappropriately named company this is it. Just cancel your policy and deal with a reputable company.

Thanks to this awful company, I'm now over 11 grand in debt with a car that cant be driven and finances to still pay after having my car stolen and they refused to help me. It took them a month to tell me this and my life has been hell since the day of the incident. They dont give you ANY updates on your claim so you have to chase them. EVERY time you ring them you will be on hold for over an hour. Even with police statements, AN ARRESTED PERSON WHO STOLE THE CAR, ADMITTED IT AND THE CAR RECOVERED, they will STILL not help you. Avoid this scum company like the plague.

I have been with quotemehappy for 2 years, did not have any issues until I missed a payment which I understand was my fault for missing payment. However when trying to make the payment, I have never experience a more difficult thing to do. Tried making payment online and it would not allow me with two different cards. They kept on emailing me to attempt to take it out the following day but they could not take it for some reason ( overall this has been happening for 10 days) and I attempted to pay online again and it worked. It has been taken from my account but they are still emailing me saying I have an outstanding balance and that my plan will cancel, visa versa the same on my account online with them. It seems such a small admin error which they cannot resolve.

I was involved in an accident this afternoon and have been trying to get hold of someone in their helpline for over half and hour. Eventually, the phone went dead - this is not what I need when someone has just pulled out into my my car and mashed it up - this absolutely horrendous service is escalating the stress. My insurance renewal is due soon and I shall definitely not be going with them again - even if it means doubling the premiums.

If you make a claim, its very difficult to contact them to discuss any issues. Using their email contact form appears to be useless. No response to any emails. Poor service.

Been insured with this company now in year 2. Initially lots of stress uploading proof Ncd. Anyway got a new car, logged into my account and tried to amend my car details......the automatic response was we can't insure this vehicle, which I thought was odd. Logged out and requested a quote as a new customer, which I got instantly. I have challenged them, where they informed me it was the system and underwriting and they were unable to overwrite. If I wanted to change my car I would have to cancel my policy (at a £54 cost) and start new policy for the new car. Surprisingly I have cancelled and gone elsewhere!!!! Bad service hindered by slow response to emails (as can't speak to anyone all done online).

Quote me happy cancelled my car insurance due to me apparently not supplying proof of no claims (even though I uploaded proof on THE SAME DAY I took out the policy). I had been conversing back and forward with the company as I was getting letters stating that I had not updated proof. Eventually on June 22nd 2016 I received a letter stating that my proof of no claims had been ACCEPTED and that no further action was required. I then found out that on 6th July they had cancelled my insurance! When asked for the reason why they said I had not been in touch with them to supply my proof of no claims! They even charged ME a cancellation fee of £55! I then emailed the company attaching a photo of the letter stating my no claims had been accepted and asked for my money to be refunded and for some form of compensation as I had been driving without insurance certificate for 3 weeks! They agreed to refund the cancellation fee but would do nothing else to help me, even though I had to pay an added £75 to set up a policy with another insurer (which obviously I would not of had to do if quote me happy had done their jobs correctly in the first place)! So I have now been left out of pocket and to other company's it looks like my insurance has been cancelled because I am dodgy. Thanks very much quote me happy!!

I Issued 17 years no claims. Decided to leave after one year and not renew my policy, they will only issue me with 9 years no claims despite not raising any claims (because it's their company policy) despite me calling at the syart of my policy last year & being told its been noted on my account to issue 18 years and yet they had the ordacaty to tell me to ring my new insurance company to say I wouldn't be able to prove the 18 years I'm entitled to and it would probably invalidate my insurance!!! I've raised a complaint and like loads of other unhappy customers have gone to the FCA. I'm usually such a calm person, but I was absolutely livid on the phone. They are truly shocking. I honeatly hope with enough complaints they will be shut down!! The are nothing but fraudsters.

If I could give this insurance company no stars I would. They are shocking, liars, sharlatons, fraudsters!! I provided them with 17 years no claims and after just 1 year with them and no claims they will only issue me with 9. Then had the ordacaty to say my new insurance could be invalidated if I can provide them with what I have said I have!!! I'm so angry

Do not bother with this phantom Car Insurance Company who hide behind the internet, First year you will get a fair price and the next years the policy will go up by 33% You wont see " new quote" notification and if ad when you cancel you will get stitched up with a £50 fee. I went to Direct Line and they gave a much lower quote plus real people who you can speak to "Quote me Unhappy" waste of space . go elsewhere
