“Cancelled my policy to stop it renewing and received my cancellation email and they still take the renewal out of my bank many days later. “Im new driver as I received my licence in the beginning of April 2016.
I filled up the quote ( 0 year NCD, 9 months bonus ). Ive got the quote about it around 1700£/year.
I was so happy is "not" that bad as a new driver etc.
After 2 weeks they are sending me an email they have to charge me around 700£ more as I have 0 year NCD.
Im asking: Why cant they just say this at the quote stage? Even I filled up there??
Because I wouldn't change my previous insurer ! So dodgy!
On the top of that they take 27.50£ for administration fee... ehh? I AM the unhappy person!! for an automatic email i need to pay 27.50£...

“As a quite a few previous emails state. They do not accept No Claims Proof even after you have met the criteria. I got an email saying it had uploaded but then after a week I received a letter saying they had cancelled my Insurance. This is reckless and leaving people at risk for something that is easily rectifiable. I had no message of why they just decided that my proof of No Claims was disregarded. Now they are charging £50 on top of all the other fees for them cancelling. At one point I thought that this was an illegal scam but it is actually a legal scam. PLEASE BEWARE.”

Called up & cancelled auto renewal on my card
They then sent me a quote valid for 30 days which was reasonable , so I went on to buy it through email link .
After checking all my details were correct & i pressed continue to buy when it changed the amount changed to over £100 dearer
Had no luck contacting them so had to email asking why this happened & that I wanted policy at the original email price
Reply 24hours later:
"Thank you for getting in touch.
The quote is showing on our system as £502.07. The price only changes if a change is made to the quote. Any change will cause the quote to be re-rated on our existing rates and this figure can't be changed. Any change however small has this affect.
I am sorry we are unable to reduce the premium quoted."

But I wouldn't go with them based on the simple fact that you cant even contact them when something goes wrong. They have an email that send out automated responses and that's it, nobody working there is any help at all.
