Been waiting weeks for refund can’t get in touch via phone no ,sent 3 emails still no reply

Same problem as others £46 no refund since early May . Split between credit card and gift card. Today I cannot even access gift card balance, locked out .Whatever discount you offer will not be purchasing

Ordered a dress for a wedding, it arrived within days. Even though I followed the sizing guide, it was too small, so I sent it back. I tracked the parcel and it was received the following day. That was over a month ago. Because the dress is needed for a wedding in three weeks, I have e-mailed twice. I received a reply thanking me for my message and I would receive a reply within two days and not to e-mail again or it would take longer for them to reply. I'm still waiting!

Returned two items as they didn’t fit. No acknowledgment. Tracking shows return was received. Contacted customer services but no response. This company is either fraudulent or just incompetent. Don’t use them if you need to return anything because you will not get your money back. I will be raising a claim through Visa and contacting Trading Standards.

I did not receive the dress I ordered despite the money being taken from my account. I received no response to my email so tried phoning. I was number 23 in queue. I held for 53 minutes, reached number 3 in queue to be told the lines were closed due to an outage problem. What is going on ? I have not got the dress, lost £40 and I dread to think of my phone bill ! Shame there isn't zero stars !

I sent an item back on the 5th of june wanting a refund i am still waiting for my refund.Ive sent a few e-mails but they do not reply and that is not a way to run a business.I am not happy so come on Roman Originals pull your finger out and give us all our refunds.

Do not order from this company I posted an order back on 13/5 2 dresses and a jacket all in the same package. Monday 13/6 received a refund for the jacket which was the cheapest item in the return. Still unable to get hold of anyone via email. PayPal and head office

I sent back a dress requesting a different size as the one ordered didn’t fit me I returned on 23rd May which I have proof off , I have sent emails and tried to call them but nothing the dress was 48.00 it seems Roman are quick at taking your money but not so when returning So annoyed

Firstly, disappointing that you have to give even 1 star before writing a review but at least I have noted my disappointment. Goods returned to Birmingham on 22/5/22 as tracked by PO. Despite 2 emails, have heard nothing and had no refund. Smacks of liquidation to me so even more galling that every other advert on Facebook is Roman peddling their wares.

I am also waiting for a refund of almost £400. This is MY money and I need it. RO received the goods back on 25th May (the parcels were tracked). They have also not replied to my email sent three days ago. I've kept two of the dresses in my order and they are lovely but I doubt I'll be ordering from this company again.

Returned items received by romans on 24/4/22, despite receiving 2 emails saying my refund had been processed I still hadn’t received it so on 16/5/22 I raised a claim through PayPal and this week the claim was settled in my favour and PayPal have refunded me today for which I’m very grateful. I am very dubious about placing future orders which is a real shame because the clothing is really nice

Sent three dresses back 26 May. Owed £85. No response to three emails and phone lines always down 'network outage'. Concerned I won't get refund any time soon if at all. Shoddy service.

The worst ever experience i regularly order online and never in my life had this from any other company i am fuming Ordered items 10th May they arrived and sent back next day Romans returns have received by tracking details 13th may i still till this moment not had my refund or even a response from my 7 emails chasing my calls wont contact the phone lines are down ???? And also my long messages on facebook inbox to Roman not response no refund and its now 5 weeks after payment you owe me £92 will never order with u again !!!!!

Still waiting for refund from 30th May. Absolutely ridiculous, have tried sending a message from their website twice. There is no telephone number to ring. Really annoyed, don't order from this company!

Hi Folks, Same as I'm reading with you guys, near to 2 weeks not a peep on a refund, have confirmation of the return being delivered. Makes you wonder if gone into Administration and with that, the customers are last to be paid out. The Creditors will get their wedge first and foremost! Good luck everyone I do live in hope of a resolve!

I have used Roman Originals online since lock down, never had a problem until now. Goods returned via Royal Mail tracked delivered to them on 5/5/2022 still awaiting my £80 refund, impossible to contact them, something is definitely wrong. Is this company going out of business? They are still sending sales emails but I will not be buying from them again.

I just want to reassure everyone that things appear to finally be starting to happen at long last !! I returned a top for an exchange on 28/4 and tracked via Post Office tracking.. Roman received on 30/4. Heard nothing so emailed on 23/5 to ask when I might receive my parcel. Got the same generic reply as others i.e. we try to reply to all emails within 2 days.. clearly not as I heard nothing else. Tried ringing and got the same message about service outage. Others suggested making contact via Roman Facebook page as they had had some success through this. I’m not on Facebook myself but was about to ask my daughter to do it on my behalf through her Facebook page and if no success I would have contacted Trading Standards. Could hardly believe my eyes when I received an email from an actual person yesterday apologising for the very long delays but promising my parcel would be despatched that day.. it was and I received my parcel by next day delivery today !! I know this doesn’t make it right how we have all be treated but I hope reading this will give you all hope that your refunds / exchanges will be sorted out very soon. Have waited three weeks for refund, despite numerous emails. Tried phoning customer services & told to only contact them if 10 days have passed after they received returns. Am now in queue of 22 callers waiting to be connected with customer service & got to number 19 in queue & have now listened to a message informing me that lines are now closed as phone lines down! Thought this was a reputable company, just wish I’d seen reviews before ordering. Never again!

I returned 2 blouses in original packaging on 1 June 22 ( I did not even open them as could tell did not like the quality of material and would not suit me) Why do companies think ok to do this to people. This is causing me financial difficulties but nobody seems to care. It advertises 3-5 working days returns but now been 14 days with no response!!! Try and oh phones and surprise surprise there is a fault on the phone line!! Who is overseeing this company? I need my money back urgently

Roman deserve all the negative feedback they get! I have tried to contact them numerous times but they never reply to emails, forms, and their phone lines are supposedly down due to the provider which I very much doubt as according to that they’ve had no phone lines for days! You can’t return to store if it’s an online purchase unlike all other company’s I deal with. I will no longer waste my time but will resolve the problem myself through resolver or chargeback…. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
