I bought a 'glitter' top along with 3 other items at your Doncaster Lakeside store this week. I was not informed that if any garment was returned there would be no refund. When I tried the top on at home it left a trail of glitter everywhere - not acceptable! I returned the top, all labels intact to the store the next day - a 30 mile round trip - for a refund. A very unfriendly, unhelpful sales assistant refused a refund as in her words "all these tops do the same so it's not considered to be a fault". So I have to presume many others had been returned for the same reason. I mistakenly understood that if goods bought in store were returned in the time stated with all labels intact a refund was compulsory. I chose another item in exchange but was embarrassed & belittled by the sales assistant's attitude. If I had been informed of your return policy on purchase I would not have chosen the top, living so far away. Fortunately my 3 other garments were satisfactory but will not be returning to your Lakeside store to be treated so shabily.

Still no refund after 5 weeks. Emails ignored, phone calls not answered. How can a company get away with such bad behaviour. I WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN? DISGUSTING COMPANY

Ordered a dress - didn't suit returned it - waited weeks - emailed said had received return 12 days after posting. Waited - emailed again - nothing - emailed again - nothing. Now just short of 2 months and still no £53 refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I bought a dress size 14. Dress arrive size 12. Returned the dress immediately. I have tracked the return and it was received on 7/8/2022 by Roman originals. I filled out their online enquiry form after 2 weeks. It states they get back to you within 5 working days. Heard nothing. I re did the online enquiry form after 15 working days . Still heard nothing. Meanwhile I’m £32 out of pocket. It’s now 7 weeks since I returned the dress. This is far too long awaiting a return.

Make sure your PROMO CODE applies. I ordered on line and tried several times to apply the code. It always said your promo code has been applied. When I veiwed my bag no promo code applied, which they don't make it easy to view. They're hoping you'll ASSUME it's been applied. Called customer service who was very rude. Said I'll apply it on my end. I said I don't see where they have applied it. The price is exactly the same. He just placed me on hold without saying anything. I decided to apply it one more time and if it doesn't apply I was going to delete order. It finally applied while I was still on hold. This is my first impressions with this Company!! Not a good one 😥

Returns has not been easy ! went to the shop 30 miles away which closed 10 minutes early not happy, went again the next day to be told there was know refund really not happy ! so been to the post item was delivered on 28/07/22 no refund yet never buy from them again

I bought a dress from the Bolton store and was really pleased with it, really good size 12 fit. Went online to see if they did this dress in another colour but they didn't. However I ordered a similar style dress that arrived today and is lovely, same great fit. These are for a cruise and will be perfect. I did order and return another dress that didn't suit me, that was last week. Reading the return info online does say that refund is made less £3.00. This is ok but reviews sound very different! I'll keep an eye on whether this gets into my account.

DREADFUL EXPERIENCE, still chasing for my refund even though I returned my items nearly a month ago. Have had to open a Paypal dispute now. Will NEVER order from Roman again. Tip: if you ARE ordering from them (which I don't recommend!), pay via Paypal and at least you have the option to open a dispute to get your money back.

The dress and jacket I ordered would have been ideal for attending a wedding, but the lace jacket had been secured to its hanger with metal paper clips,consequently damagaing the lace. I detailed this on the return slip and helped identifiy the area of damage with a white thread. Despite this, no refund was made for the return postage. My subsequent two requests for the refund have been acknowledge by a robot, but no refund has been made. 0 out of 10 for customer service.

It is sad to rate Roman so badly, as their clothes are good quality. However, I have decided not to buy from them again, as I find it absolutely ridiculous that refunds are only issued as gift cards! Is this even lawful? I have bought clothes for myself in the past but recently bought an item as a present for my mother in law. The dress did not suit her and had to be returned. The refund could only be issued as a gift card so I am now out of pocket; having spent on the dress and having to buy an alternate present. I know I can use the gift card for myself, sometime in the future but I would prefer the money back in my account! I imagine Roman lose many customers because of this unwavering policy. They have definitely lost my custom.

My dress was delivered to another address. Not to my home. Never got it! Complained on Trust Pilot too. Roman dissapeared with my money and my dress. Uk mail sent photo of delivery at an unknown door and address. Where is Roman to account for what happened? Want my money back!

Ordered a dress for next day delivery from Roman. I knew this dress looked good on me but didn't want to travel 12 miles to collect it so I ordered for the next day.....Don't ever expect next day delivery, it isn't a thing. 4 days later it arrived, still just in time for the wedding I'm attending on 18th August. Have ordered next day delivery before and never got it.

I have brought so many items from yourself and have been so so happy …. However my latest purchase the lovely jump suit black at the bottom and whit polka dot on the top ….. Followed the wash instruction …. Came out grey ? I’m not happy not the quality I’d expect from yourselves … I’m so upset as it was a beautiful piece of clothing. I would like to say the ladies in the store at Kettering are lovely !! And always helpful

Returned clothing and received part refund. Send 2 e-mails over 2 weeks with no reply to get the rest of my refund. After several attempts to ring and getting cut off at number 3 in the queue after waiting around 20-30mins i eventually got through and was promised the rest of my refund. 2 weeks have gone by -no refund. Rang several times to yet again get cut off when down to number 2/3. I am currently number 11 again. Like previous customers have said they are keeping peoples money. I wont be buying again, but I will keep asking for Roman to return MY money

I purchased a blouse in April in store in the Horsham branch but didn’t have time to try it on. It was much too big but when I tried to return it a couple of days later the shop was unexpectedly closed due to staffing issues. I wasn’t able to make a special trip into the town again and so decided to return it by post. I enclosed my receipt and expected to receive a credit voucher in return. It’s now August! I have been pursuing this refund for 4 months. I have had a couple of unsatisfactory email response asking for the identical information but NO refund! Previously I had shopped with the company quite a lot and liked their clothes but on a matter of principle I shall never shop with them again until this issue Is resolved. It’s more than incompetence, I feel cheated.
