“Terrible refund policy sent back on 3rd May and heard nothing. Filled in 2 contact forms - nothing. Got through on number listed here - not the one in emails and promised refund within 24hrs. They say takes 21 days anything returned after 1st May and then charged me £3 for the privilege! I will never order from Roman again.”

“I returned an order for a refund on 13 May and am still awaiting mt refund for over £176. I have emailed them 5 times without reply and am unable to telephone as not taking calls. I wish I had read these reviews before ordering. I will never buy from roman originals online again and would suggest anyone considering purchasing not to do so if you may need to return items”

“I returned my item on the 7th May for a refund and still nothing. They need reporting. They dont answer the phone, don,t respond to emails. Absolutely appalling company BE WARNED. DO NOT ORDER UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO THROW AWAY”

“Looks like i am left waiting on my refund aswell I returned a dress about 3 weeks ago and no sign of an email from Roman with my money I am being bombarded with emails trying to sell it was my first time using this company and if they dont send my refund in the next few days i will be taking the matter further .I do think they should get their act together if they want to stay in buisness NEVER had to wait so long on a refund.”

“Still awaiting refund after 6 week . Sent 3 emails. Tried ringing numerous times. Got told after first email would here from them in 2 days. Sent 2 more after 9 days as not herd anything from them. Didn't get confirmation they got the emails this time. Will never use them again . If I could give them no stars I would. Impossible to contact them”

“Same as most others on here. Can’t get through on telephones, network outage ? No reply to my e.mails. Returned items 7th May. Waiting for credit. Klarna are now looking into it. I hope they have more joy than me. Don’t usually have these problems with Roman. Something fishy going on ?”

“Like many others I have recently returned items purchased online valued at over £100. Tracking shows the parcel was received 2 days after posting on 14th May. No way to contact them other than the online contact form with the usual return message saying they will respond in 2 working days - still waiting!! I paid through PayPal and will take this up with them if the refund isn't forthcoming in the next couple of days. Shocking service and will not be ordering online again.”

“ORDERED A PAIR OF JEGGINGS AND A TOP. HAPPY WITH JEGGINGS BUT TOP FAR TOO LONG. RETURNED TOP AND IT WAS RECEIVED BY ROMAN ON 11 MAY. 3 WEEKS LATER NO REFUND AND NO REPLY TO EMAILS. I CAN KISS £19.20 GOODBYE. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND WON'T USE AGAIN. VERY LUCKY ONLY TO LOSE £19.20.VERY SORRY FOR OTHERS WHO ARE AWAITING FOR BIG REFUNDS.”

“I have returned an item now over a month and still have not had my money back. Phone lines are unobtainable I have a feeling this company will not be traiding long therefore I would be very wary when ordering from them”

“Extremely disappointed…have been waiting since 24/4/22 for refund of over £100, supposedly it was processed on 20/5/22 but still not received it into my account. I’m not on Facebook so unable to try that option to contact them, however I have raised a claim/dispute via PayPal, if I don’t receive the refund by tuesday then I will definitely be seeking advice. It’s absolutely disgraceful to treat customers this way”

“My experience is not over yet I'm still waiting for a refund from goods I returned and 5.5.22 and you received 7.5.22......no response to my email and messages and unable to get through on the phone....has this company ceased trading or something as I am now quite concerned as no one is responding to my query ?”

“No customer service / no acknowledgment or refund of returns. Returned 2 items totalling £60 at the beginning of May. Phone lines have been down reportedly due to a service provider issue for two weeks and no response to e-mails. Would never order from them again Not hopeful that I will receive my refund -the boxes below should have an option of ‘not received’ under refund. Also ‘No response’ to communication!”

“Agree with all these comments I myself sent back a jacket foe exchanheard nothing sent 3 emails phone line was down very disappointing I always shop at Romans but thus put me off I probably wont return to online shopping with this company if they don't get there act together”

“AVOID THIS COMPANY. No reply to emails and apparently their phone lines aren’t working. I returned over £100 worth of goods which I know they received 5th May. My advice is buy their brand through Next or pay for on Klarna who have at least paused payment.”

“"NO Customer Service Response" -- I returned 2 dresses £117 On 25/03/2022. parcel still showing with Leeds royal mail, I tried to claim compensation from Royal mail. That was rejected as the proof of postage contract is with Roman, and apparently they should refund me. After several emails, Roman have "NOT" replied to myself, I am now trying Resolver Co.uk. and so far they have "NOT" responded to Resolver, Absolutely disgusting. I will never use Roman again. Through no fault of my own I am £117 out of pocket.”
