Bought awinter coat in May last year asI had vouchers.It cost £80. Truthfully I never wore it until late November when the weather started getting cold Must of worn about7 or 8 times and it split on one if the seams.I have been a good customer of Roman and bought a lot of clothes.Told they won't do anything about the coat.You only have to look at it to see it is new.Well I'm appalled and I will not be buying anything else ever from Roman.I realize thar it is a while since I bought it but truthfully the coat is still new

What a complete shambles when it comes to customer service. I received a dress that has a faulty hem. Contacted via their online form weeks ago and all I had was a holding email. I'm still waiting to speak to someone. This morning I tried to send another contact form but couldn't complete it as their form wasn't working properly. It really winds me up when companies use the oh we're so busy excuse for not contacting customers. I won't buy from them again nor would I recommend Utter disgrace!! Soft yourselves out Roman Originals

I am just very disappointed that having spent loads of money with Roman over many years, both in their shops and on line, I now find that the offers that come through state that they only apply to new customers. This is not a very good marketing exercise - by not rewarding the loyalty of valued and existing customers you may find those customers will now shop elsewhere.

Returned items on Nov20th,worth £90 -still no refund. Emailed 9days ago no reply. Tried phoning- no reply A DISGRACE. Shan’t buy from Roman Originals again.

I have ordered from Roman in the past with no issues but I won't be ordering again. I ordered two jumpers the same style in different colours. When they arrived they were very over sized and heavy. I immediately sent one back with the paperwork but kept one as it was slightly different wool and not so heavy. After a few days I tried the second one again but decided it was also was too heavy. I printed a digital label and returned it. I had a refund for the first but never the second despite numerous emails and " tickets". I have the proof of tracking and receipt of postage but still no refund!!

I bought a dress that I liked but the pattern matching was awful at the waist so I returned it for an exchange. At this point I had only read the good reviews on their site. I was lucky and I was sent a replacement but that was even worse. By now I had read the reviews on this site and there was only one other dress that I was interested in on Roman’s site but I was nervous of sending it back again as I was sure I would lose my money. Fortunately we have a Roman shop locally and, after checking their stock weekly for the 60days I had the dress before it had to be returned, they actually got the dress in that I was interested in. I had no option to get my money back as they would only give a credit note so I was very lucky to get a dress that I liked. This is a shocking company and I will steer clear of them in the future. I only wish I could block all of their adds that constantly come up on my computer daily. To be honest I think I have been very lucky.

Why does Roman originals take so long to refund money back into bank account ,when the return is sent back straight away.... The money goes out straight away when purchasing so why so long for returns ,no other company takes so long why are they hanging on to your money for so long .. If you take back to ROMAN shops its a credit note only, AND not refunded back on original bank card that you pay for on line . Its a shame because if you like and keep items all is good... BUT NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH THE RETURNS POLICY OF ROMAN ORIGINALS.. no other company I use takes this long for returns...

Been waiting months and months for a refund - can't call, nobody answers, get a ticket but they cancel the ticket without any resolution it has to be the worst return service ever..... Luckily due to paying be klarna they helped me recover the money without hassle

I sent a coat back for a refund as it had a faulty zip, i had an email to say the return had been processed so waited for the refund, this was last month but no refund, i have phoned them and been told it has been refunded , but it has'nt , i don't really know where to go from here, i may try phoning them again

Do not offer a refund on shop purchased items with a receipt only a gift card I will never use. This was not made clear just a small sign on the wrong side of the til and apparently says it on the receipt who reads a receipt?? Clothes very very old fashioned

Could not get a cash refund this wasn't explained to me ONLY after i had paid for my purchase, terrible policy, and my local king's lynn shop is hardly ever open.

Won't be buying from them again bought 6 dresses to the value of £315.00 only one was suitable sent 5 back waiting on my refund of £255.00 that's 3 months I've been waiting still not got my money back sent emails they said something about tickets then they said they have closed the ticket if I don't agree it shouldn't be closed to let them know I told them it shouldn't be closed still no money back.

At three pound a return I will not be purchasing anymore. I ordered a gilet for my friend and myself in medium. The were ridiculously large so I returned them. Was shocked I was charged £3.00 for the privilege. No thanks and goodbye

Shocking service regarding refunds. Sent two pairs of trousers back in June. Refunded for one pair, despite 3 emails now to their customer service- still no refund for the second pair (it’s now 20 September!!). Just receive emails back from them saying my ticket is closed. Such a shame, as I like Roman clothes, but not worth the hassle factor.

The site offers free exchanges but this does not appear to be the case. I sent two emails to customer services about why I was charged for a return when I asked for an exchange. I sent the first email to customer services on 11th Aug and another on the 22nd Aug. Automated responses were received for both but as of now (18th Sept), no follow-up has been received. I tried to call their customer services number but when it was answered I was number 23 in the queue and after 9 minutes I was still at number 21 so I have had to admit defeat! It's a shame as I liked the quality of the item (it was just too big) and I thought I had found a company I could regularly shop from but it can't be trusted with customers' money so...
