I ordered flowers for my friend's 60th to be delivered the following day. Nothing arrived. You cant get hold of them on the phone so I emailed. Got a message back saying they were left by the door as no reply to the door. I had already called my friend to tell her they would be coming and either her or her partner would be at home. They also have a porch where they, if what they say is true that there was no reply, they could have been left. Why would a reputable company just leave flowers in front of a door? Now trying to get my money back. Unfortunately I hadnt read the reviews before placing an order. Obviously will never use the company again as not only can they not get a simple delivery right their customer service is appallling.

I had a very poor standard of a few flowers delivered for my birthday. I could have bought a £2.99 bunch from the supermarket, containing more and fresh, not dead and damaged flowers. They don't match any flowers on the website. Found out that nearly £50 was paid!! How do I tell the sender they were so poor? The courier dropped the box twice and eventually handed it to me upside down. The side of the box was damaged and quite a few flowers were broken off and in the bottom of the box. They didn't even fill a small vase I am appalled that so much money was spent on very sub-standard flowers? How can I tell the sender that the gift didn't last more than 3 days? How do I tell the sender not to use this company again without sounding ungrateful? I would advise anyone to use another company or try and buy local flowers. Why not send a gift voucher so you can buy fresh flowers of your choice For £50 I would have had buckets of flowers from our local florist instead of broken, dead and damaged flowers, not even enough to fill a vase. STAY WELL CLEAR OF SERENATA FLOWERS. THIS IS A SCAM

Have to echo Gillian's recent review. Absolutely the worst Company/customer service I have ever had to deal with. Only contact via email not phone. First bunch arrived dead. Second bunch arrived dead. Received some bland apology which I said was unacceptable. Supposedly, passed to the production manager. Have never heard anything from him. Emails to chief executive "blocked" so gave sent a recorded delivery letter. Please, do not support this business by ever buying from them again. Total rubbish

The absolute worst company I have EVER dealt with. Ordered flowers for Mothers Day which arrived dead. Endless issues trying to contact them and eventually added them on FB to message them. Was given the 3rd degree over and over and spoken to like I was a total idiot. Had to send endless photos of the dead flowers and eventually they said they would replace them 2 days later with a new bouquet. Waited in for ages, eventually they turned up in a scrabby box and when i opened them they were dead again!! If you were anything but determined to get your money back you would get nowhere with this lot. I'm sure they are a fake company and very suspicious there is absolutely no contact details so you can never speak to an actual person. Fought for my refund and have phoned the trading standards agency and also contacted my bank fraud dept. HORRENDOUS COMPANY would never recommend you waste your hard earned cash on this site.

I ordered pink hydrangeas, 10 days in advance, and they tell me it's not available the day before it's due to be delivered. So I agreed to pink orchids (which is a nice pastel pink in the pics), and if these are not available then pink azaleas, or pink tulips. In every message I emphasised the importance that the flowers should be Pink Pink Pink!! My mom received PURPLE orchids for her birthday, and they're trying to tell me that it's just a darker shade of pink, and they reserve the right to substitute as necessary!! Serenata, do you think that we're colour blind???????? Absolutely the worst online florist I have ever used. Why bother to list so. many flowers when you're going to send the wrong ones anyway and say 'we reserve the right to substitute'

I had flowers sent to me from this company for my birthday. The arrived squashed and are not worth half the amount spent on them. They were delivered 2 days ago and most of the flowers are already wilting badly. This is not poor care as I have done professional floristry courses. They are clearly flowers that were already at the end of their shelf life when sent.

Avoid! I paid £25 for a bunch worth about £5 ! the flowers died within 3-4 days . The company would not offer any compensation or refund as I complained after 7 days! extremely disappointed .

Do not be fooled by the pictures on the website - we received a supermarket style bunch of flowers that I would have expected to pay £6 for , not £20. Some of the foliage was also damaged. Sadly a 10% refund was all that they could manage as compensation. Really poor - unless you have a florist in the family that can turn them into something worth giving as a gift, avoid.

*** AVOID THESE FLOWER FRAUDSTERS *** I don't usually leave reviews like this but desperately want to warn other consumers. Flowers are often sent for special reasons and these were purchased for for my Mum for Mothers day as I dont live locally and I wanted her to feel special. The quality of the flowers that were delivered were very poor and looked like a cheap bunch that I could have picked up in ASDA. Mum thought I had skimped on the quality when actually I had paid for a bigger bunch. They wilted quickly, looked thin and cheap and the customer service I have received since is equally awful and has left me feeling very disheartened after trying to do something special. Do not order flowers from them. Do not trust them and do not believe the pictures on their website!!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Wish I could give -10 stars. Don't trust anyone who has put 5 stars (it's probably them writing their own) Paid £25 for mothers day flowers for them to arrive looking no bigger than a bunch I could have brought at tesco for £3 To make it worse the day after 80-90% of the bouquet were dead so looked like they had been on a lamppost for 5 days. I tried to make a complaint and they wouldn't pass me to their complaints department so had to keep talking to someone in their general enquiries and all the responses were "the bouquet made to the quality described" - if that's their quality it's 200% a RIP-OFF I wouldn't have paid £0.50p for this bunch. Please read and be advised to go elsewhere Summary: AVOID & a total RIP-OFF Alana

Very poor customer service; Deluxe flowers ordered for Mothers day that arrived in poor condition, dead, wilted and scorched roses. 4 days of emails back and forth with images sent of the condition and still no acknowledgment they were inadequate or as described on their website. Dissatisfied completely! Court action will be needed to secure a refund.

my mothers flowers never arrived, when asked about it this company simply said they were left outside a large block of sheltered housing therefore they are covered and had no responsibility. Disgraceful for any company but for one who deals in gifts and kind gestures not acceptable. I will never use Serenata again they do not care about my business. Kevin O'Connor

I ordered two lots of flowers each with vases and cards. Everything arrived fine, aside from my mother-in-law's vase was chipped and my mother's vase was completely smashed. Both vases were simply placed in a cardboard box, no bubble wrap, no paper stuffed inside the vase, nothing really to protect it if anything happens during handling. I didn't bother complaining about my mother-in-law's vase as the chips were hardly noticeable and didn't affect the functionality. My mother's however, was completely unusable. Using their complaint procedure, it offers the option to have the item resent or a refund. I chose to have it resent as I wanted my mum to have the vase, I don't care about the money. I then received an email saying I'd been refunded £4.37...despite the vase I paid for being £6.99, even with the 15% discount code I used, that's still not the £6ish I actually paid. I was confused as to why this was happening. I'd provided photos, explained the situation and selected I wanted a resend. I assumed the refund may just be a gesture of goodwill and they'd still resend. However, when I checked if this was the case, I was told they don't resend additional items, nowhere on the site or during the complaint process was this mentioned. They stuck firm that they don't have a policy to resend added items, however they could and should easily implement one. So I asked for them to resend the whole order, which they refused to do as the flowers weren't damaged. I also asked for the full refund as £4.37 didn't cover the cost of anything I'd paid for. It took three emails for someone to finally explain they don't resend vases, and then to be treated like an idiot when they specify a refund was issued immediately which covered the cost plus the discount. No it bloody didn't. I'm pretty sure they've got confused and refunded me for the chipped vase...even though I provided them with the correct order number so they could check themselves. They never even addressed the issues or the total lack of packaging that I brought up. So my mum has to go without her vase, I get a few quid thrown my way and they pretend to have resolved the issue, when all they've done is completely ruin Mother' day for us. Total lack of communication, insane, illogical policies and no gestures of goodwill. Disgusting company.

Orders surprise flowers to be delivered on a certain day to a very sick person. I received an email to say due to admin problem the flowers were not delivered. I agreed for flowers to be delivered the next day. I had an email to say there was no one at home to receive the flowers therefore they were not delivered. I then spent a long time communicating online with the florist to decide what we should do. In desperation I phoned the person who was due to receive the flowers to make sure she is at home, to be told flowers has been delivered already, another admin problem. Not sure of the quality as I would not expect the person to make any negative comment about the flowers. Although I was told never use this company as they also have had bad experience.

Two days after flowers were delivered the freesias started to die, brown petals on the roses, some roses came off their stalks completely. My son ordered on line in USA for Mother's Day. Very disappointed - two vases of dead flowers in the bin.

No order number, no way of contacting, no response to emails. Seems like a fraudulent set up. I have informed my bank's fraud team.

This is a dreadful company. Mothers Day flowers still not arrived Monday evening. Customer services is all via ridiculous website and constant form filling. You cant phone them. They take your number but dont bother to use it if they cant find your house and dont contact you, they wait until you complain....and still dont deliver! If they ever do arrive I expect they will be dead having been in transit three days. Dont trust this company with flowers for anyone you love.

Flowers were dead, roses already drooped with curlypetals , lilies well past their best with dead leaves and withered buds. Just not acceptable, with not be using the company again.
