UPS accepted and charged for a package on 11/17/25 for overnight delivery to me. The packaged contained a vehicle title which I required immediately. The package was not delivered on 11/18/25. In fact, they LOST the package. They would not help me over the phone and insisted I file a claim. I filed a claim and they eventually located the package in California. The package was to be shipped from Ohio to Michigan. This delay caused me significant inconvenience and distress. This is very poor customer service! I will not use UPS again.

I've had two really poor experiences with UPS in the space of a week, both on the same route, and it's made me very reluctant to use them in future. The most recent problem is with a Lenovo shipment (tracking: 1ZA4978FD932893980). The tracking suddenly shows: "The street name is incorrect. This may delay delivery. We're attempting to update the address." My full UK address and postcode on the label are correct and have been used successfully many times by other couriers. In the UK, the postcode effectively pinpoints the building, so claiming the "street name is incorrect" feels like a generic excuse rather than a real issue. Meanwhile, my delivery is delayed for no good reason. This comes right after another bad experience just a few days earlier with a different UPS parcel (1ZA4978FD932836229). That one was marked as "delivery attempted," but nobody rang, nobody called, and there was no card left. I was home at the time and monitoring the tracking. The next update told me it had been sent to an Access Point, so I ended up having to go and collect it myself. From my point of view, it looks like no genuine delivery attempt was made. One mistake can happen with any courier, but two incidents in a week, with tracking updates that don't match reality, suggest a pattern on this route. It feels like the driver is scanning generic reasons ("address incorrect," "delivery attempted") instead of actually trying to deliver. That wastes my time, delays urgent items, and completely undermines trust in the tracking information. I have submitted a formal complaint to UPS about this, referencing both tracking numbers, and asked them to investigate the driver on this route and correct the handling of my current shipment. Until I see a clear improvement, I'll avoid choosing UPS where I have any say in the courier used.

We have shipped around 10 international consignments through UPS and out of those, 5 shipments were lost. This clearly shows a serious issue with their handling and tracking system. Our most recent UK shipment had 10 boxes, and one box went missing. When we requested a claim, UPS simply rejected it saying: “The shipment was not insured.” So does that mean UPS has zero responsibility for a shipment once they accept it? Most customers do not buy insurance for every box — and even if not insured, the courier company must provide basic liability for lost shipments, as per normal industry practice. But UPS refused to compensate anything. No support, no accountability. If UPS cannot ensure safe delivery and only says “sorry, no insurance,” then how can any customer trust them with their parcels? This is not professional service — it's a complete failure in responsibility. Very disappointed with UPS. Not recommended for international shipments at all.

UPS claim they came to my house with my package and that I refused it. Firstly I am at home all day due to a disability and can assure you that nobody came and secondly why on earth would I refuse to take a package which I have paid for including delivery. They are liars who just cant be bothered to do their job. I now have the impossible task of trying to contact them to ask them to please deliver my package if it still exists. I will never use an online shop who use UPS again.

Imagine everything a competent courier service does to ensure timely, accurate and secure delivery of parcels. Now take the exact opposite of that imagination and there you have it: "UPS"

The most horrible. They come for return without time frame or tracking. They won’t call either. They’ll just show up whenever, expecting you to be outside and waiting all day. They’ll just turn around and leave if the parcel isn’t outside. They’re impossible and extremely useless

In Sep I sent my family back home few small kids presents. Custom wanted an extra £12 fee despite the box value not execeeding $75, but UPS added £200 of charges. I disputed the charges of UPS for 2 months but no one cared. UPS USA doesn't accept emails. UPS UK referred me to customer service agent that didn't reply to emails. ParcelHero with whom I sent the package replied but told me all the charges where custom charges which was a lie, and later told me to simply accept the charges and pay. After 2 months UPS realised I wasn't going to pay £200 to release a $75 box so they deducted half and I paid just to resolve the issue. I DONT RECOMMEND USING UPS I DONT RECOMMEND USING PARCEL HERO I hope you won't have the same problems as me

Wanna hear a real life horror story, all? This happened today. I live in Colorado Springs, CO On a $4000+ laptop and accessories, on a *signature required package*... UPS managed to: a) Deliver it to the incorrect address, 150 yds away from where I live b) Did not verify the last name of the recipient or obtain a signature on a sig required package c) Did NOT ask for an ID from said person d) Nearly drove me to 1) tequila, 2) a heart attack, 3) wanting a sharp knife to open my wrists. I had to go hunting for it, knocking door to door in my neighborhood. I guess it's a fortunate thing I have honest neighbors...even ones who I don't know. And UPS? If I could rate you -10 stars on Google, I would. I am LIVID at your incompetence. It's a good thing you came up with the info that you actually delivered it to a residence 150 yds away, because if I hadn't recovered it? You'd be looking at a lawsuit right now. Passing along my new wisdom: do NOT trust UPS to deliver pricey packages to the correct address and do NOT expect them to follow-through on ID checks for signatures.

My husband and I had to get an important package shipped out with a time limit. We went to the UPS store on 9th St in Oshkosh, WI. Haleigh helped us and she did an excellent job packaging this item! There was specific instructions and details and again she did a really good job! Thank you again Haleigh!

I sent a parcel from Poland to Finland and UPS never even tried to deliver it. The recipient in Helsinki didn’t receive a single call, SMS, or email, only an automatic “out for delivery” message. Then UPS marked “security access attempt” without ever showing up. The parcel was sent back, and I was charged twice, for the original shipment and for the return. This is unacceptable. No contact, no service, no responsibility. Completely unprofessional experience.

Had a package to be delivered: First attempt, left note that package was unable to be delivered due to a signature required, that night sent a request to deliver to my place of work; second attempt, again during the day at my home while I was at work, called the service desk was able to speak with the local dispatch, said the driver would be back around 6ish pm, left work since 4:45pm, waited and waited step outside, there is a note on the floor.....the idiot driver didn't ring the doorbell....on hod with customer service for over two hours!

You please stay away ha if you want your parcels to get to you the next day don't use them. The delivery drivers are so unprofessional the last 3 parcels that I ve had delivered by ups have just been left outside. If I took today off of work as a holiday so I could get my friend plant food do you feel delivered today. Just because the delivery driver couldn't be bothered to walk around the block and press the buzzer he decided he dropped my parcel off at a parcel shop 6 or 7 miles away from my flat. Saw an email about an hour after the fact saying parcel delivered and then I was panicking because it said it was delivered to my home address I had to phone up ups to find out. Another time I had some flowers delivered and it's a good job I was going out to take the rubbish and there were my flowers just dumped outside the block yet again because the driver couldn't be able to walk around and press the buzzer it's a good job I am an honest person because otherwise I could have said I never received them. This is an appalling company well the drivers are the drivers are terrible absolutely terrible steer clear. I pay 69094 today delivery and now it looks like I ve got to wait another 5 days cos they ve got to arrange for the driver to go back to the shop and pick it up and they haven't even confirmed my delivery day and waiting for a phone call off them right now and I'm not happy.

The absolute most frustrating company to do business with. I am trying to find a breakdown of cost for one single shipment. I’ve been transferred 5 times, and on hold for nearly an hour. Any issue I have ever had with them has not been resolved. I’ve been lied to directly by a representative. They have damaged expensive equipment. I don’t think I’d trust them with my colaguard box.

Once again UPS has shown its true colors. I ordered a product from Nike, received a delivery notice stating the package was delivered to the locker. They never sent me a code to get in the locker so I went to the resident office and ask them about this. Rep stated she saw no UPS deliveries today, which was about 20 minutes after me receiving the delivered message. I called UPS and if course they blamed Nike stating Nike should have given me a code to get in the locker. I did contact Nike and Nike stated UPS does this all the time and lots of individuals are not getting their packages. UPS stated Nike is supposed to be providing the locker-code. Funny, the package was supposedly delivered by UPS. Just playing stupid to cover their own butts. I stated to their representative they need to check their drivers. So my advice to anyone expecting any packages from UPS to have them delivered directly to the product they are receiving store or a UPS drop off location only.

I sent a package out from a UPS store and was told it would take 2 days to deliver. It spent the next 3 weeks straight bouncing back and forth between states, with no reason as to why and no helpful customer service. The local UPS store I used was the only place that was actually helpful. Corporate UPS and their customer support (including supervisors) did absolutely nothing, even when the latest update showed that a UPS employee had STOLEN the contents and discarded the empty package. This is by far the worst shipping experience I have ever had, and I will NEVER use UPS again because of it.
