I just received a bill from UPS for $197.73 for US Customs Duties as well as Brokerage Charges for a cotton blanket I bought on Etsy. How insane and I pity all the other people who have purchases from Etsy that don't know they're getting ready to get slammed with a huge bill like this. UNBELIEABLE!!! UPS, you should be ashamed!

Over the years, we have had about 5 claims with UPS and we have YET to receive a reimbursement check! It's horrible, the excuses they have. You changed addresses but we cannot forward a check to your new address because you cannot make changes like that to an existing account. Or, the cap on your bottle of oil was loose so it's your fault (which we fill bottles of essential oil when the order comes in and believe me, my husband makes the caps VERY TIGHT!). the delivery guys are awesome but customer service and whatever department processes claims is HORRIBLE! And now, every customer service agent has a middle eastern accent and I cannot understand them! Today, I went to file a claim on a package but UPS investigated it and once again, my fault! They closed the case without any word from us!!! SICK OF THEM GETTING OUT OF EVERY CLAIM!!!!

Worst shipment experience ever ! I have been waiting for my Parcel and they didn’t deliver because concierge was closed, even though I left a clear note to contact my number, but no contact whatsoever. So frustrated!

Package taken to UPS store on SE J Street in Bentonville 9-25 at 9:30 a.m. package is still in store 9-29 at 8:17 a.m. employee says they are covered in boxes and there's been no pickup to date. I called Customer Service and spoke with Jessie. She believes the package will go out today. Didn't sound promising,

Total joke. Still waiting for over a week to receive an item. Updates are not right. I deal with UPS delivery for customers at my job & this place needs to close up. They can't seem to pull their head out & figure out what timely delivery is. I hate UPS

I feel like UPS doesn’t meet the basic goal of what a delivery company should be. You pay for delivery to your door, but instead, you're expected to go to a remote location to pick up your parcel. The courier didn’t even attempt to deliver it—no call, no update, nothing. After three weeks of silence, I finally found out I had to collect it myself. Absolutely unacceptable. It is even more upsetting if you know that there is another collecting point in the town - much closer and more accessible

Charged for delivery. Then charged tariffs on top of another $20 for delivery on the spot or they hold your items hostage.

I AM EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED WITH YOUR SERVICE. I was explicitly told that if I dropped off my package before 4 PM, UPS would deliver it the very next day. Because I urgently needed this package delivered, I chose to pay EXTRA for next-day delivery. I followed all instructions, dropped it off on time, and I was assured that it would be delivered today by end of day. NOW I SEE THAT MY PACKAGE IS STILL STUCK AT AN ACCESS POINT. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. WHAT IS THE POINT OF PAYING EXTRA FOR NEXT DAY SERVICE IF UPS DOESN’T HONOR ITS OWN GUARANTEE? I DEMAND AN IMMEDIATE EXPLANATION AND ACTION. I EXPECT THIS PACKAGE TO BE PRIORITIZED AND DELIVERED WITHOUT ANY FURTHER DELAY. This experience has been extremely frustrating and has wasted both my time and money. If UPS cannot honor its commitments, then customers are being MISLED. I need confirmation ASAP on when exactly this package will be delivered and what UPS will do to correct this failure. Shocking they didn't even knock the door they sent a sorry we missed you note with the postman. Never tried. Pathetic customer service. Someone called Robert at the Northamapton branch who was so bored with his life told me there's nothing they can do.

I was noticed first by UPS that my item would have been delivered on 9/17/25. Then changed to 9/18/25. Then changed to 9/20; then 9/21; then 9/22 9:00 pm. Now it's 9:35 pm. The item is still not here yet. UPS store staff are not polite at all.

Horrible customer service, I have my package delayed delivery several times and last time they changed the delivery time, so it was missed and when I tried to contact customer service I was placed on hold for over an hour after that the person was not apologetic and basically doesn’t care. I think this company should be ashamed of themselves and their service.

I’ve received numerous invoices on an account I have not used in 6 years. I’ve also made numerous call to their customer service number and experienced long waits and not helpful representatives! Today I spent 2 hours trying to resolve the latest invoice from their collection agency with their Accounts Receivable Rep and she arrives me the charges will be remove and the Account closed. We’ll see 🤬

This company is the worst ever waiting for 1 little package 5 dam days and then tracking says 9:30am to 1:30pm and still no show can't call or contact anyone. Good customer service right there. Never again will I go through ups I hope you guys go bankrupt and go out of business you guys suck FedEx is so much better

Interesting I shipped out 2 boxes the same weight/shape/size with the same product to 2 different buyers. Yet, on one of the packages, I was charged an additional $27 on shipping because it was an additional 10 pounds on top of the original 3 pounds ($9 shipping)?? Fascinating that one of my packages gained an extra 10 pounds magically in transit. You guys are the worst & I hope you rot as a company you POS

I wish I could leave less than 1 star. I have been waiting on my new iPhone that I need to sign for. I did not leave the house the day it was supposed to come. Never heard a knock or my doorbell. Apparently I missed the delivery, but there was no note left. They say they will come back the next day, same exact situation happens. UPS does nothing to help customers who weren't even left a note. I checked all of my neighbor's houses to see if they made a mistake, but I found nothing. There is nothing I could do, and then they sent the package back so I had to reorder it. Still waiting on it.

They lost my package worth $1200 in Calgary. I am the receiver and the shipper is in China. UPS refuses to talk to me for a refund, saying they'll only talk to the shipper. The shipper isn't helping, but I should be about to take over the lost package process as the receiver. I am going to take it to small claims court for the entire damages, but I shouldn't have to go through the trouble. Terrible company, choose DHL instead

A delivery was attempted a couple of times that required my signature. I wasn’t there as I have a job and work and they always attempted the delivery while I and most people work (whatever - that’s not the complaint). I called UPS to see if they can just hold the package for me. They said yes for $7.99 they will hold the package for me for one extra week and I can pick it up at my local store which they provided the address for. I called them on September 13th, 2025 and they said starting Monday, September 15th, 2025 they will hold the package one (1) week until Monday, September 22nd, 2025 to pick up the items. They sent me a link to pay and I paid. I go today, September 19th, 2025 to pick up the items I was under the impression that they would be holding for me and the person I spoke to at the counter said the item was returned to sender 3 days ago. Now if I didn’t pay extra money for this service, that would be understandable. However, I paid so wtf? I have the exact details written down on my notes that’s dated and time stamped that says this. To make matters worse and what really led me to write this review is I called UPS to get a refund for the 7.99 for this service that they failed to provide and after dealing with the dreaded automated system that every customer has to find a way to bypass to speak to a human, I finally get “connected” to a human but wait there’s more… I wasn’t exactly connected with a human because there’s a 40 minute wait. So here I am sitting on hold for 40 minutes (at least) hoping that when someone one’s pick up, the line doesn’t get mysteriously disconnected before I can even say one word (seems to always be my luck) all because UPS dropped the ball for this extra service I paid for. Thanks UPS. Got through to someone only for my call to be rerouted to wait another 45 min.
