UPS turned out to be one of the most useless and high-handed large companies I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Just over a month ago I paid for Express Saver delivery (‘delivery in 1-3 business days’, ’in-house customs clearance’) of a laptop from the UK to Ibiza island, Spain; before the laptop weas picked up I filled in the 3 copies of the customs declaration as required. The shipment was picked up on time and arrived in Barcelona the next day – where it stayed for over 2 weeks. After 2 days of noticing it was still in Barcelona and had not moved on, I contacted UPS and was told the Spanish customs needed more information and/or forms about the recipient and shipment; this was given but the shipment still stayed where it was. A week later, I contacted UPS again who asked for more information and/or forms for customs and some information that had already been given (twice before in some cases) but still the shipment stayed where it was. A day later, I formally complained to UPS and, by a curious coincidence, the same day Spanish customs released the shipment and it was allowed to continue to Ibiza arriving a few days later. At no time during this period were UPS proactive in expediting the delivery by requesting from us information along the lines of ‘Please provide X for Spanish customs to allow us to pass the shipment for delivery’. We were always the ones asking what they needed to continue the delivery process, and if we had not asked the laptop could be sitting in Barcelona to this day. UPS maintain that it was Spanish customs that caused the hold-up and (be aware!) are not responsible for any consequential losses due to the delay. (We had to source another laptop to replace the one that had not arrived.) While I can believe the it was Spanish customs that were the ultimate cause of the delay, UPS refuse to accept any responsibility for the lack of communication with us or errors that caused the hold up, and as a consequence we will not be receiving a ‘goodwill gesture’ from them.

UPS is a horrible excuse for a delivery service. I have not yet received a package with UPS, it is either delayed, driver to lazy to get out of his truck, they don’t honor the sign the back of the slip and we will deliver, they just send it to a holding facility and say that you can pick it up. Everyone should us FedEx, it is a much better option. I am going to stop using any company that ships with UPS….

Worst delivery company ever, they employ customer service reps that can't even speak English, useless still waiting for my parcel after paying for it infact they are very terrible.

They find every reason to not deliver your package. The package will sit at a hub for days because of weather on the other side of the country and the package is going nowhere near that area. You pay for 2 day delivery and get it in 5 days.

Their estimated delivery time is so bad. I had a pakcage a couple of weeks ago which came 3 days late, saying something about bad conditions, which I bet they would already have been aware of. Now I have another package coming, which was supposed to arrive yesterday, and said something about conditions AGAIN. This time it said it was coming today by 4pm, and it is past 4pm. Please get UPS some help, even amazon is so much faster even with these conditions. This is my way of saying F*** you UPS.

Wort service ever. I used UPS for sending a pack to my family in Italy and from the beginning was a total disaster. Following all the guideline for the package preparation , at the moment of the collection the driver LOST my invoice I gave him, and from that moment has been a atrocious experience. Lost my document the package is been delayed and stopped for 4 times , forcing me to do a lot of call to the call centre that was unable for 21 calls to help me. After all this time lost, tat was not update on the package, is been stopped in Uk, France, Italy ( 3 times) because they said don't have the paper that they lost it. after all of it they charge me for a ridicules amount of fee for importation, that you must paid otherwise, like my case, will delayed the package for days. Once all this disaster was horribly finished, they took money from my account without permission or communication for a package penalty that was not existing and after report to bank and them I'm waiting for a refund so Cleary a Froud. Costumer service is horrible, the app is absolutely USELESS no tracking , no responsibility, not work ethic at all I will never use it again and I will make sure no one of the people i know will do either. NEVER AGAIN

Dreadful dreadful company. Every single time I receive a delivery from a company we order from in Holland, they don't send the customs charges that need to be paid. Then when I phone to pay that, they give me a reference number to prove payment, and then they then send me a link to pay the charges........ Speak to 10 different people, send evidence of payment and they still show outstanding charges... A massive waste of time and energy..

Horrible. I will never shop with them again. My package never got delivered and I tried to contact multiple times and never got a response. I will look into taking legal actions.

I love getting deliveries from UPS! They are pleasant, personable, respectful of me and my property. They always back in the driveway and never touch the lawn. Just enjoyable experiences. Unlike FedEx.

I repeatedly received emails that incorrectly said my package was on the truck, or “out for delivery “. - when it was not! The arrival time was 3 days later than told/promised/paid for. Live people over the phone in separate phone call’s repeatedly gave inaccurate information. I wasted days waiting at home. I was instructed to go to the local main facility to pick up the package after the ups screw up. I pay an expensive Uber fee due to the urgent need for the package. I arrive snd ups staff says we cannot find it until the next day.out my Uber fee! They say they will make it a Priority and deliver it in the morning. It is still not out for delivery. I used to hold ups in high regard. Not now. Totally horrible experience! And I still don’t have my package!

Awful service, even paying to modify schedules and hold locations makes no difference. If you have the option select another shipping service.

UPS used to stand for something, now it's a poor excuse for a delivery company. To start with, they don't actually deliver but make you fight for getting your packages returned and not destroyed. I had to call every day, twice a day, learn to speak Italian because the UK team wouldn't help me, send various forms and copies of personal documents to five different emails, and eventually beg for my gifts intended for 150 people to be returned to me and not destroyed. I am now praying UPS actually returns these parcels. If that sounds like your idea of fun, use this company. Otherwise, ANY competitor is better.

Absolutely the worst delivery company on earth. Lied about a weather delay, lied about delivery date. Over a week for a package that should been here in 2 days. I will never ever ever use this company again. Just shut down already

I will never use UPS again!!! No attempt to redeliver my package!!! No customer service! No support to help when your package is not delivered and brought to some random 3rd party location for pickup!!! Just had open heart surgery and cannot pick up my package!!!

VÆRSTE leveringsfirma! Gang på gang, faktisk hver gang, har jeg betalt for at få leveret min pakke med UPS til min hjemmeadresse, men de møder ikke op på adressen men skriver enten at adressen ikke findes eller at der ikke var nogen hjemme. Begge dele passer ikke, jeg har både oplevet at når jeg har været hjemme at de ikke engang har været og banke på, og da jeg har overvågning rundt om huset kan jeg også se at de ikke har været der på optagelserne. Når jeg forsøger at vælge selv hvor de så skal aflevere pakken og dette godkendes, så vælger de alligevel selv hvor det lige passer dem at aflevere min pakke, dette resultere i at jeg skal køre over 20 minutter for at hente en pakke et sted jeg ikke har valgt og når jeg har betalt for levering på hjemmeadresse hvor de aldrig har forsøgt at levere den. De gange jeg har talt med kundeservice om disse gentagende problemer, fortæller de bare at de desværre ikke kan kontakte chaufføren og ikke ved hvorfor han ikke køre ud til adressen. Jeg forestiller mig at nogen ikke gider udføre sit arbejde og blot synes det nemmere at aflevere i en pakkeshop de alligevel skal hen til og så aflevere alt der. Jeg er mildest talt uendeligt træt af dem og stopper med at bruge dem fremover og dermed handler jeg fremover heller ikke hos de forretninger som kun tilbyder levering med UPS.
