I sent a product I had purchased back to the company it was from (it had broken as was eligible for a replacement due to the warranty). This was the second time this company had delivered via UPS, and it went the same way as last time. I was home all day - never heard a peep from the doorbell or a sound from the knocker; I had been up since 6AM. Assuming they hadn't rung the doorbell and placed it in my porch I went to check: in the place where I assumed my package would be I found a "Sorry we missed you" slip. The slip indicated that no attempt was made and the sheet's tick boxes remained un-checked (this meant that some key details were unknown due to poor work or lack of effort). So know we come into the second part of this delivery dilemma: when attempting to collect my package I had to bust open google maps because the "UPS Access Point™" was not marked in any shape for form on the small convenience store. I am 17 and am in collage in England (this is an important detail for in a second) when attempting to pick up my package after handing the owner the slip of paper ("Sorry we missed you") he asked me for ID. I do not own a drivers licence so I gave him my zip card which confirms my name and age. This plus the sheet is not enough apparently to receive the package as "it didn't prove your address". I have ID with my address on so for all intensive purposes I am now COMPLETELY unable to pick up my delivery. Thankfully I am able to have my parent pick it up, but if she didn't have a driver licence this would get far more complicated - and most definitely more complex and arduous than picking up a delivery that someone couldn't be bothered to do (note I was home the whole day and constantly listening for a ring or a knock, clearly showing they sent it to the "UPS Access Point™" before posting the slip into my porch). I do not understand why the customer(I actually funded this catastrophe) is not able to pick up the delivery with a valid ID (not all ID has address) and the missed slip; this would prove that the name of the person would match that on the parcel and that they had received the slip from their address. Doubters may say "what if someone stole the slip"and, to that I remind you this whole system revolves around you supposedly not collecting the item - this means that they would leave the slip somewhere you would find it safe. Like the porch which is un-locked (there's a second door after that, think like an airlock), so for them not to use the slip as a valid document for collection either means they cannot be bothered to scan the unique QR code. Or more likely the slip is redundant and for whatever reason does not prove it's your address (even though your literal address is the first thing written on the slip). From this they assume someone my be able to steal this slip and retrieve the package for themselves which would be difficult due to the need to prove ID with a valid name and photo. TL;DR They instead of delivering my package gave me a paper making me go get it and do their job but couldn't because I don't have a drivers licence for ID and other ID was not accepted even though it was government based.

Absolutely awful company - look at the community page of their Facebook profile. I was shipping an iMac to Slovenia. They quarantined it as hazardous materials. They refused to tell me why. They refused to give me a timeframe for release. They refused to return it to me! Totally unbelievable I ended up talking to trading standards to be guided through the ‘breach of contract’ protocols. After six days, countless calls, being given wrong information and being lied to, I was no further forward. I didn’t realise this sector is unregulated so there is no body to which you can go and UPS do not have a complaints department - if things go wrong you are totally on your own.

It can´t be worse. Due to the impossibility to receive my parcel at home or a collection point, I had to get a day off in my job to wait for them at home, reschedule a delivery and call them TWICE just to make sure they will come before boking my day off. Guess what? They didn´t come, they didn´t upload the status of my parcel in their website, and they don´t provide me with another solution. I am still waiting for my parcel.

I would never ever again book anything with UPS. They are UNPREDICTABLE. Why I used them before is because they good and prompt: delivered the next day. But not this time! You want to send someone a birthday present for the next day? Don't go to UPS. Don't be sure it will get there! That took me into their confidence, but this time, it has been hell. Parcel left for 24 hours in their depot for nothing. Delivered 2 calendar days after having it and they call it 1+ which is actually 2. Go to Royal Mail, at least you know it will get there, even if you pay more. Can you tell me why my parcel, collected Tuesday afternoon, should spend all day Wednesday in thier depot, before it leaves to be delivered on Thursday? It feels as though there is a psychopath wanting to revenge by just holding on to your parcel for no reason. What was wrong with sending it on Wednesday instead of it just being left in the depot all day since the night before? Its beyond me!

Please online sellers do not use UPS to deliver your goods. They may be cheap but they can be as cheap as they like as they don't actually offer a reliable parcel delivery service. Use DPD it may cost a little extra but its work every penny. I shall not use sneakerstuff again. Not because sneakerstuff are bad but the courier they use is REALLY BAD. What UPS does offer is rude staff and a level of incompetence that is so high it should in some strange way be rewarded as its that bad it must take considerable effort to consistently maintain such a dire delivery service yet remain in business. Other businesses should encourage their staff to ring the UPS customer service number to hear examples of how staff should never speak to customers. Why can't they just deliver a parcel to me for once without messing me about.

STAY AWAY FROM UPS, THIS SERVICE IS GARBAGE. We ordered bees from Romania and they were supposed to be delivered with UPS to Belgium in 3-4 days (according to what was written on their website). The package was given to UPS on 19th of August, but was only shipped on 22th, which was supposed to be the delivery day! So, by checking with the tracking number, we saw yesterday the delivery was planned on Monday 26th. The bees would probably be dead. But today, on 23rd, checking again, the delivery has been delayed to Wednesday 28th. ARE YOU KIDDING? Never again, this delivery service is probably the worse existing and is handled by irresponsible and unqualified people with overpriced fees.

I was notified of delivery happening today by UPS, no time slot at all just by end of day. Consequently I have waited in all day to take delivery. Just after 6pm I have had a notification from UPS that delivery will now be tomorrow, again no time slot, just before end of day. It's some years since I last experienced such a don't care, arrogant service from a delivery company. All the others find no difficulty in tracking their vehicles and giving an estimation of time, usually within a 1 to 2 hour window, on the day of delivery. Why is anyone using such a poor company to deliver goods to their customers? I doubt there is a significant cost saving by using UPS against more reputable companies.

They dont even deserve one star. They should be put out of business. I sold a brand new never used washer on Ebay and sent it with ups, worst decision of my life! The driver that they sent was a little old man who had to stop and take his inhaler (even though my husband was helping him to take it to the truck). The washer was well packaged and labelled and when it arrived at the customer's it had appeared to have been thrown off the truck and rolled down a hill then stomped on. We drove 90 minutes down to the customer's to see it for ourselves and it was a disgrace. We had to take it from them and issued them their full refund. We called ups about it and they took one whole week before someone came to get, which they still did not take it because it was now unpackeged, instead, they sent someone out 4 days later from their assessment team (who had no idea how anything worked, which he said himself). The verdict- They cannot be held responsible for the damages because it was not packaged to their standards.... note- The washer was cartoned with styrofoam on the sides, bubble wrapped, boxed and insured with them for damage. UPS is a fraud company and I do not advice anyone to use them.

I needed to return an item I'd bought online so I went to the ups access point at the BP petrol station on tring road in Dunstable. They did not give me any receipt, apparently this is ups policy. And the package is now missing...there goes £100 pair of jeans!!!!! I consider ups as crooks and I'm really curious how they are allowed to operate in the UK like this. I never thought to read reviews, I'd assumed ups was a trusted well known name. Please avoid them at all costs.

This is the most complicated and badly organised delivery system. You cannot get signed up properly to change delivery times. It is impossible to navigate and Inhave had a lot of experience.

DONT TRUST UPS They smash your item, it is obvious it is there fault, but they will not pay your claim, even when you have taken out there extra insurance. Safe your money. If you must use them then don't take their insurance. I would advise using a company that takes care of your goods. UPS are the worst company I have ever used. Their insurance company, Crawford and company, are paid by UPS to refuse any claim. This should be against the law. What chance does the small man have against a big company.

Worst service ever. Got email of delivery but no time quotation like other services does nor have any options to deliver to neighbours if there's nobody home. Instead they left it to their nearest UPS centre which was 20 mins away. I asked for 2nd delivery which it said it'll re-deliver but after 3 days it re-delivered to same old UPS centre. I will rate them ZERO. They replied the email after 5 days.

This was my lovely tracking n.1Z9V788X9990890379,easy to remember...but Ill guarantee at the end of my lovely day I knew it by heart!!!I bought some electrical item from Philips in Holland and looking for shipping that back and get a refund,my fault not Philips. But Philips is connected with UPS and you must send it true them,no excuse. They must make a fortune on their charged phone help line, you must speak with them if you like to send all back to Philips. They don't communicate,no matter if you download their page on the app, Philips must pay such a low rate, they can't care a bit about you, after 3 attempt on the pay phone with lovely UPS I'm going from having a collecting driver at my front door in 2 hrs without any warning, to ..I'm sorry he couldn't make it, because I had to called them again to know. Customer service ,I know guys isn't your fault, but is zero. Communications it's even worse,if you are a good company,,,listen to this,,you are a good company no matter of how much I belong in your scale of importance.

Sender in China's choice to use UPS, not mine. I was notified delivery to take place on 22/7/19 by end of day. Told delivery normally up to 7 pm but could be later due to trqffic problems etc. Tracking was updated during the afternoon still aying by end of day. My wife and I stayed in ALL day until at 23.15 I went out to giver my poor dog his first walk of the day. The parcel never arrived and no text messages received to inform me what went wrong. To say I am incandecent is to say that the Pope is a little on the Catholic side!! I can make no plans for tomorrow in case the bloody parcel turns up out of the blue!!!!!!

UPS has damaged the guitar, I was returning back to the shop, the shop has refused to give me the refund because of the crack on the side of the guitar, UPS collected it for their "investigation", the report of which says that guitar wasn't damaged during the carriage and the package didn't comply with their guidelines. I am 100% sure that guitar was damaged during the carriage, the guitar didn't have any damages before, I did take the photos of the box before the collection, it was smooth, but on the photo after delivery to the shop, there is a dent on the box, looks like someone stepped on it! What kind of packaging it has to be if it will be treated that way? Well, of course it's easy to blame the packaging, rather than taking the responsibility, looks like that's the response they give to every customer if they break the item. The e-mails I've sent my complain to don't work, or they just ignored my emails, I haven't received any reply. The advisors on the phone were telling different things, looks like they just creating the stories. At the moment I have no guitar, no money, the cost of the guitar was £737! I regret that I used their service. Never ever in my life I will use them again or recommend their service!

Your driver left a failure to deliver notice to our address which is nowhere near the address it should have gone to. This shows lack of attention on drivers part to details on package. Hopefully not all of your driver's are so careless.
