“YODEL DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! NEVER USE THEM! Very very bad experience. They sent me emails the parcel has been delivered I went outside but couldn't find a parcel. I contacted customer service today and they send me a picture of delivery address. It was completely different house and address, not even my neighbour house. I ask to help to get my parcel, they told me cannot help go back to the sender! Clearly driver has made a mistake and they don't care. Will never use them again. Worst experience!”
“I placed a Temu order for 5 items. One item was despatched from a Uk warehouse via yodel and the rest despatched from china.
I tracked each part of the order and yodel tracking states we have your parcel.
It still says we have your parcel a week later.
Meanwhile my items from china have arrived safely via Evri .
I have tried 16 times to contact yodel.
Web chat just says rest assured we will deliver your parcel but it is just delayed.
Twice I waited 40 mins on a phone to speak to customer services and was then cut off.
I would not trust yodel to do a two piece jigsaw puzzle. They are the very worst company I have ever dealt with.
I have resorted now to asking vendors who they use to deliver and refuse now to buy from a company who use yodel.”
“Absolutely terrible company. Sent 2 parcels at a cost of £11.76. The recipient said they had tried to delivery them which the hadn't, there was no card left. They tried to get the parcels redelivered asking for them to be left at the computer shop next door, still not delivered. Got an eBay message from buyer saying they were on the way back to me. Reason 1 not in reason 2 moved house? Parcels back with me so sent them again with Evri £13.20 lost. Phoned Yodel
(waste of time) 20 to 30 minute wait on phone 1st call - guy said it looks like the van driver did not go anywhere near the address I will prepare a report and email you it will take 24 hours, 3 days later no email? I have given up I have spent too much time and effort on it eventually it becomes futile. I even nearly rejected the parcels when they were returned but the van driver said "you can reject them if you like but in about 10 days they will be back to you. Oh well we live and learn. The lady who bought the items offered to pay the 2nd postage as well but I declined her kind offer because it's just not fare why should she have to pay twice.”
“We didn’t receive our delivery.
The parcel was delivered to another house of which I do not know. The yodel chat said it would rectify the issue but today I have been informed that I need to notify the provider of said package that I haven’t received it.
So yodel is being paid to deliver a parcel to the wrong address and it’s now my responsibility to rectify their incompetence. Unacceptable.”
“Shame I can't give zero rating. Why do people use yodel? They are dreadful. Today they delivered a big package of items to a 'safe place'. The package was left on my front doorstep yards from the road. I shouldn't have to say but I have told them on numerous occasions that the front doorstep is not a safe place!”
“This company is far worse than Evri. Absolutely disgustinghow can you leave someone’s package in a communal area like the lift when I live on the 5th floor? That’s pure negligence! I waited almost two weeks for my parcel, and now it’s gone. No attempt to contact me, no care whatsoever. So unprofessional! At least Evri provides regular updates via email, so you know where your order is at all times. This service is a complete joke, and I wouldn’t trust them with a single delivery again!”
“I have been tracking my parcel that was due between 16.45 - 18.45. It has been past my house! It is now 20.50 and the driver is further away. Someone called to collect their order but it is not here.”
“The worst company yodel I have ever dealt with. Was supposed to receive a parcel on 17th March morning hours, it’s been evening and the parcel still shows it’s in their possession. It’s almost 5:30 pm and still I don’t have any idea when I would be receiving it. I am about to leave my work shortly and when I spoke to the chat agent he responds wait till 9 pm as if we have no other work to do and just wait for them in the office the whole day? Moreover agent disconnects the chat saying just “thank you I have done my job”. I mean seriously is this what we expect from a company that deals with clients important business? Recommending everyone not to deal

“Worst courier company I’ve ever dealt with and not just on 1 occasion there’s been several. This weekends experience left me infuriated!!! I received a email and text message stating my parcel was ready for collection which it wasn’t, I tried to collect again the next day but still no parcel to collect. After receiving reminder texts and emails say it was still waiting for collection I spent a total of an hour and 40 minutes on 2 separate occasions on live chat advising them that my parcel was not at collection point. On both occasions I sent them a screenshot of the tracking number and was told on both occasions that it was the incorrect number and they couldn’t help me further even though I entered the same number in to tracking and it said delivered to collection point!!! No help whatsoever, absolutely shocking service. Get your act together YODEL!!!”
“Didnt deliver asked me tp contact them, only ai options none were useful, they wanted tp speak to me but left no way for me to contact them. I limbo with two days of my holiday ruined waiting for yodel”
“Terrible and unreliable courier service. Waste of money if you were hoping to get some bargains from Vinted and delivered by Yodel. Parcel was sitting for dayyyys in Bristol and apparently “delivery was attempted” and “card was left” while they obviously did not since I was working from home the whole day! Decided to just leave it and stop chasing after the parcel. £9 dress isn’t worth spending hours chasing after. Ridiculous!!”

“Had a scheduled delivery day and slot. Waited in for it during the slot. Checked the tracking and it said 20 stops away.. then that they could not deliver due to no one being available at the address - complete lie. Changed day to the next day, no email with delivery slot time. No attempted delivery at all. Not sure if it will ever arrive!”
“What a joke as a company. I purchased a postage label on ebay to send a parcel and went down to my local Co-op to drop the parcel off. This was when the problems arose. The staff said that my parcel was too big for the driver to collect and that they can only take small parcels. Flabbergated I said how do I get it sorted? The staff said I would have to take the parcel to a regional depot, so I siad where was that? Google it they said. Having Googled it the depot was 40 minutes drive away from where I live. Needless to say I have cancelled the label. There is no point complaining to Yodel as apparently they have apalling customer service and what will it achieve. Avoid at all costs, how they are still in business is a mystery.”
“Yodel? More like Yo-Don’t! Had a flight the same day my package was out for delivery. Given a time slot of 3:30 - 5:40 PM. Waited until 5:10—still 9 stops away. Had to leave without my parcel. Nearly missed my flight over this mess. If you’re in a hurry, avoid Yodel. Yo, don’t go there!”
“Failed to deliver my parcel. It arrived at the Inverness depot on 7th March. It's now the 14th March and I'm still waiting. I have contacted them three times and each time they have assured me that it will arrive the next day. They either lost it, or are just incompetent. Unfortunately the Sunday Times wine club still use them, so I'll be cancelling my subscription. Maybe they enjoy a glass of wine at the Inverness depot.”
