The small package that was of a free item cost me 400GBP extra of unexpected fees. DHL were of NO HELP.
The only customer they care about is their business accounts.
Avoid using them if you care about your money.”

“Have waited all day for package. Called at 2 was told by customer service to expect call back. It’s 5. I called. Well I was told computer says delivery today but that’s just a guesstimate for sure re Tuesday by 9. Excuse me. This is a business here till 5. Oh do you want to reschedule. Worst delivery. Oh also got a email saying I was not here at 4 to receive package. What a load of —it”

“Had 3 deliveries booked with these over 4 months. Not managed to deliver one of them correctly. God knows where they get their drivers from. Delivered one to number 2 complete with photo even tho the delivery address was completely different. Just left one outside and said no one was in even though I'm housebound. 3rd one the driver used a Google map photo of him in the carpark but couldn't get out of the van to deliver it. Next they will be saying we have to put our prices up to cover the cost of the fuel our drivers waste”
“Used Dhl to send a parcel from the UK to the Philippines was picked up on Monday afternoon and arrived Thursday morning with no problem's at all. This is the first time i have used them as like a fool i have been using UPS. They would of charged me £40 more and would of taken 7-9 days but they tell you 2 to 3. They always blamed the address to be wrong. Will always use Dhl from now on great service and got to its destination 2 days early”

“A supplier of mine sent me something from Turkey 9 days ago to The Netherlands.The shipment time took one day to The Netherlands a country that's as small as Delaware.With modern facilities and logistics .
it is now one week later the goods (one envelope) hasn't arrived and DHL didn't even bother to send one communication until today because I told the shipper to contact and push them.Now got my first communication not even a explication sorry we had x delay because of x reason NOTHING ...but wastes worse is I got this notice saying they would come and its nearly 3 pm and guess what DHL hasn't arrived yet and they com to this area only in the mornings.... Thumbs down for this pathetic service....next time by regular express mail which is half of the time half of the cost and comes certified with tracking online.”
“I changed the delivery address to local collection point. My parcel was delivered there and shortly after that, I recieved an email and msg that my parcel is ready for collection. When I went to pick up my items, I brought an ID and proof of address, like they ask me but they refused to give me my parcel because I didn't have code. There was no instruction how to get that code on the email, nothing. I spent hours trying to contact customer service. Nightmare.”
“No point giving them any directions or a three word location because they'll take notice of them. They don't care that you take the day off to receive your delivery. There is no customer service, emails just get ignored. In my case they leave my stuff on the floor out in the open on someones doorstep that I don't even talk to. I now won't buy anything off companies that use them. Terrible service, terrible company, completely useless.”
“My first experience was when they delivered a £2000 PC to the correct numbered house but in the wrong street! Then had the audacity to send me a photo of the number which apparently proved they had delivered it. Luckily I took the time to wander the streets in my general area and found the 96 that they had delivered it to, and the person accepted that I was the recipient.
More recently I paid £8 delivery and they gave me a delivery slot and then after I waited in for them the time slips by over 30 minutes so I called them and the woman I spoke with said it was back at the depot with no reason!!! No card, no explanation. After that call I got an update email stating it will be delivered too late for my purposes on Monday, utterly useless company. I intend to check every time I want to buy with a company if they use DHL and if they do I wont do business with them unless they use a different company.”
“horrible service ! I’m soo glad i didn’t pay for this. The merchant did & she wants her products back that came to me by accident. We’ve been gIven 5 Different dates that DHL was supposed to pick up. To this day the package is still in my living room. No one is on same page. Some say the package was picked up, some say it’s the wrong address, some say the driver is en route to my home. If owners or management is reading this. You shld hang ur head in shame that you have the most disorganized company ever. I don’t know how u are in business but I’m going to keep leaving bad reviews on every site until u pick up this shipment !”

When I order from a company I will be asking whom they use for delivery and if DHL I won't order.
Grandaughters 3rd birthday spoilt. Ordered presents 9 days before her birthday they should of been delivered 4th May to a local shop pick up, didn't arrive until the day of her birthday 7th may I got the email to say they had been delivered there when we was out on her birthday picnic with no presents for her.
I ordered a new child car seat 12th May
had the same experience again delivery was cancelled 3 times before I rang them to find out why, the excuse being the driver ran out of time.
Eventually delivered and the driver just left it at our gates and drove off. Didn't attempt to bring up the drive.”
“What a horribly incompetent company. They delivered a package to the wrong address yet "confirm" to me it was sent to the right GPS! Yes, the right state, city and complex (of 20+ buildings) but wrong building and apartment number. And they refuse to correct this and place the blame on me because I allowed delivery without need for a signature regardless of its incorrect delivery. When I confronted the "supervisor bot" and asked if her lack of concern was because she thought I was "stupid." She admonished me to watch my "bad language!" I am sure she has heard and will continue to hear worse. DO NOT USE DHL - EVER!”
“DHL issues:
1. Website tracking does not update the customer with any useful information.
2. Drivers have no idea what they're doing, unable to find an obvious address, no calls, no notifications of failed deliveries.
3. 6/7 customer service staff I spoke to regarding this issue showed me a shocking display of rude attitude and poor customer service.
4. Delivery depots do not respond to DHL headquarters for up to 48hrs at a time, not acceptable.
5. No available reps to speak to if you're parcel has been assigned delivery as the automated system tells you the ETA and kicks you off the call.
I have now lost multiple customers and over £1750 in sales due to this series of errors by DHL and to make it worse I have received 2 bad reviews as rightfully they were left waiting for a week and received no goods, these 2 recent bad reviews will no doubt turn away a large portion of future business. Absolutely shocking service received from DHL.
0 stars, neither I or any of my staff will be using DHL in future. I have also made every single one of my affiliates aware of the situation by email and encouraged them to do the same.”
“Would give a 0 if possible. Said they attempted to deliver multiple times. I was at home and nothing. No bell no knock no note. Such a pain when delivery drivers are too lazy to do their job and the customer suffers. Avoid if you can”
“If I could give zero stars I would. DHL is the worst delivery company I have ever dealt with and their customer service is awful. I was to have a package delivered to my door May 5, nothing came even though I received the email saying it was delivered. I looked at all doors, community mailbox and asked neighbor. Nothing. Called company and they said they’d look into it. They sent me a pic the driver took for proof of delivery- a blurry picture taken at an angle showing half a door. It wasn’t my house color so driver obviously delivered it to wrong place. (This is something I do not understand- Nowadays, if you are given an address all you have to do is punch it into gps and it will take you directly to it, so how can you deliver something to the wrong address?) It is now May 18, after many emails with no information on where my package is, I called to talk to someone, they are giving me the runaround. No one knows anything! They are saying it can take a month for them to come to a resolution. This company is a joke, I don’t know how they are in still in business. If you would like your package delivered, DO NOT use DHL. In the future I will be asking companies who they use for deliveries and will not be purchasing anything if they work with DHL.
