“ABSOLUTE CON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, they text me to give me a time, I was here all day, I have no card no nothing, I got an email telling me they attempted delivery at 17.12 and hour after my slot, and it’s just all lies!!!!! That’s why they don’t have an actual customer service number, no I have to traipse around London to some far away shop and carry a wardrobe home, absolute joke of a service, especially when you consider how much you pay!!!! I will never, ever ever ever ever use your lying waste of money and time service again ****** and I will be adding my review to every website I can find, because you can’t review on their own website, and noticed how they are all 10 😂”
“What an absolute shower DHL are ! They set themselves extremely low standards and always fail to meet them. They have frustrated me to the point of using the description; SHITBAGS !”
“Horrible experience with DHL, they dropped my package at USPS and then needed me to fix a typo in my address, I updated my address with them over the phone and they have since lost my package. I have called EVERY DAY FOR A WEEK and every person I talked to says they are going to get to the bottom of it and find out where it is and call me back and I haven’t gotten one call back. 0 out of 10 do not recommend DHL!”
“I had sent a document on 12.02.2022 from Germany to India but it has not got delivered yet. Status has not been updated since 22.02.2022. i have called dhl a few times and they tell em the flight to destination has left on 25.02.2022. But today is 10.03.2022. Are they sending letter using ships? No one knows where my documents are. Horrible service.”
“AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This company is nothing like International DHL, they are terrible, cost our small business over £5000 in lost consignments. They often deliver in 2-3 days not 24 hours like advertised. I would hate for anyone else to loose out- use a proper service like DPD instead for your small business”
“Hello, I am writing this feedback on behalf of a company. Most of our experience with DHL has been great. However we did face many issues with parcels sent to the Netherlands. We found ourselves in a situation where postcode and even the town had been changed at the local sorting facility. This resulted in a lot of delay for delivery. The sender and the recipients were contacted to give again the initial address (which was the one originally registered for the parcel). Our client (the recipient) also complained a lot about DHL struggling to find her address which is actually easily found on Google maps. Each of the delivery had to be rescheduled for several different reasons including: - difficulty to find address - address assumed to be closed at the time of delivery because it was taken to be a company (when parcel was sent to the client personal address) Overall it wasn't a flawless process. I am writing this feedback as prompted by our client who was dissatisfied with us using DHL as our preferred courier. I hope this can help you improve your service.”
“The delivery man has obviously dopped the box...which was labeled FRAGILE btw. Items inside were all broken. He didn't even have the guts to leave it to my door (because, of course, it was a box filled with shattered items and you could tell by the sound of it.) The parcel was also unsealed. The worst delivery experience ever. That's why we ordered these fragile items online in the first place - because they were too heavy to carry without breaking them. Well...”
“Terrible service. The item was finally delivered on the 3rd day! I've had previous problems with DHL in the past, when on two occasions my item was delivered to the wrong address. It's a pity we can't choose our courier.”
“Email in the morning, your parcel will be delivered today. Never arrives. Next day same thing, email saying will arrive today, never arrives. You'd think if they failed an urgent delivery one day they'd give it a higher priority the next wouldn't you. Nope. This cycle can go on for days. If it's urgent or important don't use DHL”
“This is a company with a horrible service. They lost my package at the end of December 2021. I filed for claim in January 2022 and until now March 2022, they have not yet given me a firm answer as to where my package is or whether they are going to cover the cost of missing product since I paid for the insurance for lost items. I called the customer service people on different occasions but to no avail. These are the most unhelpful and unfriendly set of people I have ever talked to. Be professional, DHL!”
“This is the worst shipping/delivery company out there. They always send a message saying they « attempted delivery » but never actually try. I literally watch the van pull up in my drive way And back right out. What a joke. They also gave my personal phone number to another unhappy customer who was calling to complaint (so the customer ended up calling me). They do NOT even deserve 1 star…”
“If it were possible to leave less than one star or no star, than I would. It has no concept of delivering a parcel, it gives you so much waffle, that you do not know whether its able to deliver parcel in the first. Next orders coming via Hermes, Amazon or Royal Mail, who KNOW HOW TO DELIVER A PARCEL.”
“If it were possible to leave less than one star, I would.
DHL were the chosen courier for my Argos washing machine. Usually they have a 7 day turnaround, but since I ordered it over Christmas I was told 14 days was more likely.
The night before the delivery they sent me details of my four hour delivery slot.
The next day, 5 minutes before the end of the slot they rand and told me rather rudely no-one was coming. Both drivers were off work with Covid. Whilst I'm sympathetic to that issue, they could have told me at the start of the day. The next available slot was another fortnight. *sigh*
Two weeks later they did turn up. Without tools, so they had to borrow mine. They made a total botch job of installing it, leaving it sticking out into my kitchen because they ran out of time. I took photos as they were installing as I couldn't believe the way they clambered all over my kitchen.
Within a fortnight my washing machine wasn't working. In clambering over it they broken the front panel, and in using the machine the wires worked loose as the panel wasn't holding them in place. Another week for a repair man, who did a temporary fix, which won't last. Argos agreed to replace it, and put a note on that DHL should send different people to install it.
Last night I got my delivery window notification. This morning as the window was coming to a close having heard nothing, I clicked on the tracker to see they'd cancelled my delivery. After being on hold for 20 minutes I got told they couldn't get the van up my street, but would come back next Friday in a smaller van. I had to call THEM to get this information.
A manager then rang me back to say they weren't going to bother. They'd got rid of all the smaller vans, and since their contract with Argos is being negotiated and is only confirmed to the end of the month, they couldn't be bothered sourcing an appropriate vehicle just for one delivery!!!!!! Ot only that, so far that haven't yet forwarded this decision officially to Argos, impeding Argos' ability to rectify this for me with any degree of speed. Again, appallingly rude. I've never dealt with such an unprofessional company in my life. Argos have been amazing, but if I'd ever been heard talking to someone the way every single DHL employee I encountered worked with, I'd have been sacked.
There are insufficient words to state how ghastly this business is. Six weeks on and still no washing machine....”
“Shocking. Waited three days for my delivery, said it was out for delivery each day but only turned up late on the third day damaged. Driver didn’t wait for me to open the day to unsure item was ok. Please never use”
“They will try to avoid delivering products to the door (despite that service being paid for) and no dates or times given mean anything. Any complaints in connection with that are shrugged off with indifference.”
