Send 2 emails to say that the tv doesnt work properly...got no answer...i had to call...still waiting...amazon is the answer guys dont be bothered with different services

Do not buy anything from this company. Firstly bought 4 large kitchen appliances 1 all dented took 2 emails and 4 phone call to actually speak to someone about it they kept cutting me off eventually got a nice lady called Penny who sorted it. Ordered a whole bathroom, and was delivered without a delivery slot or phone call to the billing address and not the delivery address. Courier refused to deliver it to correct address even though I showed him the order confirmation with the correct address. He gave me the phone number of the courier and they were extremely rude and said they couldnt redeliver it without appliance directs go ahead as they were going to a different address. I said its not a different address its the correct address. She hung up on me. I have no idea where my order is now and a plumber who was waiting all day to install. I have tried in vain to speak to someone to make sure another delivery im also waiting on will go to correct address. When you phone customer service you get put on hold with music forever and never get to speak to anyone. The service is an absolute nightmare.

Appalling service. They use Arrow XL for any large stuff, who are easily the most Mickey mouse, unreliable delivery company in the country. They give you a meaningless tracking number (it doesn't update), won't answer the phone or respond to emails. Basically, appliances direct are only usable for deliveries small enough for a regular courier...

Ordered and paid extra for sat delivery, get a call confirming delivery for sat and being told I will receive a delivery slot later that day. Then get text sat morning stating Tuesday delivery - called up on sat and told they had no stock and had shipped from supplier (then why call stating I will be getting it on sat as you clearly had no idea) called up to be told nothing can be done - and that this happens!- cancelled order as out of the country after Monday told will have to wait for delivery to be returned to supplier by courier and then await a refund - could take 14 days not acceptable at this point money is still pending withdrawal so they haven't taken it yet. this may be okay for a few quid but for them to be holding almost £700 awaiting return of their mistake is shocking. This is written on Tuesday I've just had email still talking about cancelling order - wasn't done when I spoke on sat...…. great. They have used a courier service with independent tracking and was still out for delivery to me today so told them to move the date as I'm not having them leave it on door then this company claiming delivery. Spoken to company on the phone and have advised them I will be clawing the money back when it gets taken as they are still Advise against using these people

I am very disappointed with this company Appliances Direct. Air cooler stopped oscillating within days of being received and the company, despite being sent email explanations, videos and photos, refused to send me a replacement or refund. If you sit directly in front of the machine you do not get cooling air and the louvres are stuck to one extreme side. I have wasted so much time going back and forth with emails and calling them to explain this purchase is not suitable. I shall now be escalating my complaint to Trading standards. This company knows exactly how NOT to treat their customers.

Placed a order, took my money, my order wasn’t available on the day promised, given another delivery date again let down, they promised to look into the problem but didn’t, in the end cancelled my order, waiting for a refund. This company took my money, it seems they had no intention to provide the goods ordered, worst possible experience of ordering online.

Appalled! They sent out goods that were very badly damaged. I informed them that the goods were really damaged and sent them photos, but they said because I had assembled them that it voided the returns policy. They offered me £40 for my trouble (my purchase was for a bbq that cost several hundred pounds). The real kicker is that they had a ‘damaged seconds’ one for sale that was considerably cheaper. I explained that they had to accept it back due to the distance selling act, but they refused so now I am having to go to trading standards to try and stop them from ripping more people off like this. If you want to purchase with peace of mind and not have to worry about second rate broken goods and being bullied by a returns department that don’t care I advise you purchase from a more reputable retailer!

Paid for Saturday delivery - Advised Saturday morning no vehicles and delivery would be following Thursday!!!! Involved several hours on the phone to no avail Then a 40 mile trip to outlet plus 4 hours their trying to sort the problem. The Manager there was helpful however and I managed to get one item in the back of the car and finally the washer was rearranged and turned up on Monday a.m CustomervService is rubbish and inflexible when a real problem exists

I'm a property developer therefore I need the full white goods set 4-5 times a year. Decided to give them a go and bought 4 products. The Philips TV wasn't working and when I returned it I was told I had damaged it in the packaging and wasn't eligible for a refund. Very substandard excuse to forfeit responsibility. In any case i bought another TV from another supplier. I believe with "cowboy" behaviour will be difficult to attract a sticky customer base so take this as constructive feedback to improve your customer service more in line with say amazon. Never ever even thinking to shop from you guys again!

Awful company. Terrible communications. Lying about having stock and lying about my order being on its way. I wont trust you again. Sorry, but you have completely failed on all aspects of customer service.

They gave us wrong delivery day and delayed 2 weeks. We had bought a service to get the fridge into our second floor apartment and get the old fridge for recycling. The courier's refused to bring the fridge freezer upstairs and never got back.our old appliance. As a result we had to pay extra to recycle through our municipality. We had to call them twice and threaten with legal action to get a refund for a service they never provided. Ignorant, appalling company.

AP failed to point out that the length of pipework is matched to each inverter unit because each unit is pre-charged with enough to fill the supplied pipes. Therefore if you under estimate the length of pipe required you cannot simply use longer pipe but you must then pay to have the unit charged with additional refrigerant. Simple information would have avoided a complete nightmare for me. Their custmoer service failed to respond to my request for help. They ignored me. Would not use again or recommend.

Terrible customer service. Do abide by Consumer Rights Act 2015 when goods are faulty. Slippery than a slug when trying to get them to replace my cooker.

Placed an order on 02nd July for a Broughton A/C unit costing over £2000!. Showed as next day delivery. The following day received an email stating that delivery would not be on 13th July and not 03rd July. Checked Appliances Direct website and still showed as a next day delivery. Called Appliances Direct and requested that the order was cancelled. Was told that as this was being shipped direct from the manufacturers that they had to cancel it with the manufacturers which they would do and then call my back; which never happened. Called back on 04th July to check if this had been cancelled to be told that it had not been cancelled and that they would do it now and the payment would be credited back to our account within 3-5 days. 10th July. No refund received. Called Appliances Direct back to query why no refund had been received to be told that the refund had not been processed. Apparently being cancelled/refunded today and will be called back today. In the meantime ordered the Broughton A/S unit from Abercorn Heating Ltd on 03rd July and it was delivered on 04th July. Having spent more then £10k with Appliances Direct over the past 12 months; would say that when it works it is very good. When it goes wrong they are very inefficient at getting it resolved.

Received portable air con unit after paying extra to get it the next day (Saturday) so that I could take it on holiday (Caravanning). Plugged it in and what a dreadful noise it made like a slipping fan belt on a car. Called Monday morning to get it exchanged (Holiday on Wednesday) Told no chance, need to send in a video of the fault, have to wait for a collection then several days whilst they checked it out. Told the guy I needed it for holiday - couldn't care one bit. Will get a refund once back off holiday and never buy from these again. A DISGRACE. 1 STAR a couldn't give non

Paid over £500 online for an air con unit which if i had seen with my own eyes in the first place would not have paid £200. The build quality is very very poor but their advert was so convincing for the THING that i fell for it. I would never ever buy anything from this company again and would not recommend anyone else to!

Delivery problems when items ordered. Faulty appliance. Took days to get through to you. Asked me to send a video and they will see what they can do. No contact since then
