The worst shop in the UK. I bought tumble dryer and it was delivered faulty. I tried to return it next day after delivered, but the shop collect it after 4 weeks and Citizen Advice reaction. It was 11 days ago and I still don't receive my refund. Today the shop send my email: they can refund only appliance, not a delivery cost. I am very unhappy and feel cheated. I lost a lot of time, nerves and money.

One star is too good for appliances direct. I have used them 3 times and on 2 occasions they couldn’t deliver due to the couier not operating in my area on that day. They are happy enough to give you a date and take payment for next day delivery and then they won’t deliver. I am still waiting for my delivery to turn up. Please do not use appliances direct! There are far better places that are just as competitive on price and in fact most offer better choice of brands. AO is just one. I use AO for now on....just received a next day delivery on time and I paid no more than I would on the shambles called appliances direct. I’m sure trading standards are already aware of the business practices of appliances direct. Do Not Use!!!

I should had my order yesterday. It has not arrived. I did not get confirmation of payment by email when I placed my order. Now your system says I don't have a order.

Ordered online and paid for next day delivery. In the morning received a text saying the lorry had broken down and delivery would be rearranged. Promised two days later. Two days later; no delivery; this time I wasn’t told until I contacts the delivery group myself. The excuse this time; incorrect weight and dimensions??? Two wasted days waiting in; one a day off work. Terrible service reflecting badly on appliances direct. Would never use again.

brought a new oven and paid for online updates best I have ever had said it was ready for collection early went to collect it meet by the younger man in a white shirt who was busy but very polite and said just go to counter and they will sort you but wow what a change the older gentleman at the till in a blue shirt very rude should not deal with any customers on any level please bear in mind I was only there for collection he's whole attitude not just to me but other customers who come to collect when my oven was brought down the two that brought my oven to me was excellent service again shame the one person as stopped be buying from them again I will go to currys next time

Appalling. I paid for faster delivery but it took 10 days to arrive. The it was a fridge freezer, the reason they couldnt deliver was traffic. Then they failed to deliver the following morning. As a result food was spoiled and lost wages. I complained they paid the fast delivery charge but no response on our requests for compensation. Customer service shuts at 6 pm, delivery booked for 6 30pm so we waited in until 9 pm. No messages at all. Delivery people were non committal. Silence to my emails on compensation. Might have felt differently if this had been a dishwasher say. But A fridge freezer is rather more urgent.

I bought an Oven from Appliances Direct and after less than 2 years of age and light use it has failed a very dangerous way and in my onion the product should be recalled. However due to the product being over the one year warrenty period Appliances Direct are completely disinterested in my case. Poor.

They delivered a a new dishwasher that was sweet to another address weirdly And then the dishwasher has not worked form day one. It’s faulty They sent a repair man who fixed it but only temporarily and now the same problem They are unhelpful to replace it saying I had a month at new to do this bit I was away for the summer Also my washing machine has also been playing up

Had a delivery change for 5 days later which was a massive inconvenience to me then when I emailed them about the matter they replied to start with then just ignored me so all though it seems to be a very good company I'm very disappointed and will not be using them again.

Item failed to be delivered and absolutely no contact. According to Appliances Direct item has been despatched,yet Hotpoint have no record of this order? Assuming this is a scam and have contacted bank for refund. Will never use this company again and urge others not to.

This is the worst service ever I have pay extra to be delivered at home the diver never delivered the item at home didn't even bother calling me there was supposed to come back the next day but never did as results the item has been sent to a shop nearby for me to collect it very bad service and when I called appliances Direct did you say there nothing to do with them very bad never again And guess what the item doesn't even work I call back customer service and they give me the number of the Warranty company so basically that's your business now I'm so cross

Good washing machine but inability to deliver on day which was paid for.. Poor customer service and lack of understanding that having failed to deliver on weekend that I would need to take leave from work to receive item on Monday. Then the audacity to phone and try and sell add ons.....Don not recommend this company at all.

My order was scheduled for delivery on 6th September, Arrow XL phoned to asked if THEY could reschedule for Tues 11th Sept., THEY only delivered the freezer I had to phone Appliances Direct was told to phone Arrow XL to see where my fridge was, Spoke to NICK who said it will be delivered today FRIDAY 14th, got text & e-mail it will be delivered between 7.45 am 10.45 am just got a phone call they can't find it in warehouse. STILL WAITING FOR PHONE CALL.. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE

This is laughable, i arranged, and you confirmed on the booking for delivery for the 7/9. When I enquired with courier the ETA for delivery that day, they said they couldnt deliver because they had only received it that morning from yourselves, and I then had to arrange an alternative date. Anyway, I wrote to, via the feedback on the 7/9 to convey my unhappiness, about no delivery and the fact I wasted an AL day to wait for it. Guess what no reply or response, until you sought a generic feedback. Poor all around, perhaps I should have gone to AO..

The most unreliable company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I would welcome the opportunity to speak to a member of the complaints dept. I have posted a complaint but like all other systems at Appliances Direct, it returned an error when sent. The worst I can rate this company is very poor, which is way above the level I experienced.

Very bad customer service. Bought a built-in Microwave and it only lasted less than 3 months. One of the knobs came to my hand. The one I rarely used. I used it on the first time and it is broken. I think this must have been already broken although I did not see. Contacted the company after being on hold a very unhelpful staff take the call and sent a link to send photos but this was impossible. After trying for couple of days called again this time another 1 hour await and then she gives a email address. Done that and called after couple of days after waiting on hold for nearly 1 hour, she says they have not received then I had to repeat the whole story to her and eventually she found the email link. After another 5-6 I got an email from Sarah COOK to say 'We have been looking into this with our spares team but unfortunately do not have any spares available for this model. Due to the age (3 MONTHS !!!!) of the item damages to buttons are not covered under your warranty' Then when I complaint, John Conway says 'We are unable to ascertain how or when the damage occurred to the unit (HOW COULD ANYTHING HAPPEN THIS IS A MICROWAVE BUTTON WHERE I HARDLY TURN), I m very sorry but this would not be covered under any manufacturers warranty and can only echo what my colleague has previously advised' POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES. I HAVE BEEN ADVISED BY CAB TO OFFICIALLY MAKE A COMPLAINT AND TO REPORT THEM AS THE ITEM IS NOT FIR FOR PURPOSE UNDER CONSUMER RIGHTS ACT 2015.
