I'm a property developer therefore I need the full white goods set 4-5 times a year. Decided to give them a go and bought 4 products. The Philips TV wasn't working and when I returned it I was told I had damaged it in the packaging and wasn't eligible for a refund. Very substandard excuse to forfeit responsibility. In any case i bought another TV from another supplier. I believe with "cowboy" behaviour will be difficult to attract a sticky customer base so take this as constructive feedback to improve your customer service more in line with say amazon. Never ever even thinking to shop from you guys again!

Awful company. Terrible communications. Lying about having stock and lying about my order being on its way. I wont trust you again. Sorry, but you have completely failed on all aspects of customer service.

They gave us wrong delivery day and delayed 2 weeks. We had bought a service to get the fridge into our second floor apartment and get the old fridge for recycling. The courier's refused to bring the fridge freezer upstairs and never got back.our old appliance. As a result we had to pay extra to recycle through our municipality. We had to call them twice and threaten with legal action to get a refund for a service they never provided. Ignorant, appalling company.

AP failed to point out that the length of pipework is matched to each inverter unit because each unit is pre-charged with enough to fill the supplied pipes. Therefore if you under estimate the length of pipe required you cannot simply use longer pipe but you must then pay to have the unit charged with additional refrigerant. Simple information would have avoided a complete nightmare for me. Their custmoer service failed to respond to my request for help. They ignored me. Would not use again or recommend.

Terrible customer service. Do abide by Consumer Rights Act 2015 when goods are faulty. Slippery than a slug when trying to get them to replace my cooker.

Placed an order on 02nd July for a Broughton A/C unit costing over £2000!. Showed as next day delivery. The following day received an email stating that delivery would not be on 13th July and not 03rd July. Checked Appliances Direct website and still showed as a next day delivery. Called Appliances Direct and requested that the order was cancelled. Was told that as this was being shipped direct from the manufacturers that they had to cancel it with the manufacturers which they would do and then call my back; which never happened. Called back on 04th July to check if this had been cancelled to be told that it had not been cancelled and that they would do it now and the payment would be credited back to our account within 3-5 days. 10th July. No refund received. Called Appliances Direct back to query why no refund had been received to be told that the refund had not been processed. Apparently being cancelled/refunded today and will be called back today. In the meantime ordered the Broughton A/S unit from Abercorn Heating Ltd on 03rd July and it was delivered on 04th July. Having spent more then £10k with Appliances Direct over the past 12 months; would say that when it works it is very good. When it goes wrong they are very inefficient at getting it resolved.

Received portable air con unit after paying extra to get it the next day (Saturday) so that I could take it on holiday (Caravanning). Plugged it in and what a dreadful noise it made like a slipping fan belt on a car. Called Monday morning to get it exchanged (Holiday on Wednesday) Told no chance, need to send in a video of the fault, have to wait for a collection then several days whilst they checked it out. Told the guy I needed it for holiday - couldn't care one bit. Will get a refund once back off holiday and never buy from these again. A DISGRACE. 1 STAR a couldn't give non

Paid over £500 online for an air con unit which if i had seen with my own eyes in the first place would not have paid £200. The build quality is very very poor but their advert was so convincing for the THING that i fell for it. I would never ever buy anything from this company again and would not recommend anyone else to!

Delivery problems when items ordered. Faulty appliance. Took days to get through to you. Asked me to send a video and they will see what they can do. No contact since then

Consistently lied to about delivery date. I have spent hours on the phone, chat line and e messages. Waited in for delivery 3 days. I have now cancelled the order. It hasn't even been dispatched to the delivery company.

Product was broken and bent on arrival with scratches. Clear sign someone had used it before, so not new. Would not recommend getting it from this website ever again.

Everything. Delivery cancelled by them 4 times so that’s 4 days unpaid from work .1st del cancelled half hour before it was due as they didn’t have installation crew,2nd del scheduled for before 1pm or after 6 pm ,they wanted to del on the day between 1-5. 3rd del rescheduled for Saturday..no show. 4 th del cancelled by courier on the day as goods damaged they couldn’t care less .i emailed their CEO twice but no response at all .

yesterday i've look for a air con and fund one ot their website price just under 230 pounds . today same air con is under 250 pounds. let me guest Heatwave is coming????

The 'customer service' offered by Appliances Direct is next to useless and the follow-up help for an installation problem non-existent. I have had to sort out the problem at my own expense and I am currently filing a complaint through Trading Standards. My honest advice is do not buy through Appliances Direct.

We bought an air cooler that did not cool even the smallest room. We took it back to exchange for an air conditioner which was twice the price and the manager was so rude and refused. We contacted customer service and they refunded, manager at South Normanton has no idea how to good customer service.

Ordered a range cooker 3 weeks ago. Paid over a grand. 2 delivery men came and said they will leave it at my front door !! I have patio doors at the back but they refused to take it round even tho the accsess was fine !! Doorstep delivery they said !!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Absolutely disgusting customer service. We ordered a £300 dryer (as well as a £350 washing machine) which arrived 18 days ago. This was whilst we were having our new kitchen fitted, so we couldn't install the products at that time. Unfortunately, when we came to do so, the dryer was slightly too big, so we enquired about returning/exchanging for another product (and were happy to pay an admin fee, delivery charges etc), but we were told that, as we have had the product for 14 days, under no circumstances would they do this. This is in spite of the fact that on their website that they claim that they can make allowance if you are having building work done. Apparently this is done on a case by case basis, but rather than considering the customer's position it basically amounts to how many of the product they have in stock rather. They have shown zero compassion, flexibility or consideration to customers who have handed over more than £600 of hard earned cash to their company in the past few weeks. They even had the cheek to say that we should try to sell the product ourselves! Therefore they will NEVER receive a single penny of mine ever again and, hopefully, anyone who has read this review will be put off from buying from them too.

Terrible service , I ordered a fridge to be delivered today (Saturday) I waited all day and received no text to say what time it would be delivered , when I ordered the fridge they assured me that it would be delivered today, I waited until about half past 5 and then contacted customer care only to be told it would not be delivered now until Monday , I asked for a full reimbursement as today was the only day I could get time off work, they did not even phone me to say it wasn't going to be delivered ,Very poor bad service , this was my first time buying from them and I would never buy anything from them again

I recently purchased a refrigerator in Fruitland Park. It has issues since delivery. I have called numerous times. Either Lisa is busy and the take a message, with no response, or she says she is doing all she can. I still have NO working refrigerator! Once she makes her sale she doesn't care anymore.
